Le patologie da sovraccarico nel tiro con l’arco
No full textINTRODUZIONE Il tiro con l'arco è solitamente considerata un'attività tipicamente asimmetrica (più correttamente si dovrebbe parlare di sport armonici o disarmonici, essendo la simmetria un concetto fisiologico preciso). Tale classificazione, tuttavia, non può dirsi del tutto corretta: in un tiratore destrimane, ad esempio, al momento dell'esecuzione del gesto sportivo, non solo il grande dorsale destro, ma anche il controlaterale e gli estensori vengono attivati. Inoltre, uno studio elettromiografico di superficie sugli aspetti muscolari e coordinativi di 26 atleti di differente livello prestazionale ha evidenziato una sollecitazione del muscolo deltoide sia dal "lato corda" che dal "lato arco"(1). Tra l'altro, Squadrone e Rodano hanno rileva-to che atleti di livello internazionale mettono in funzione i distretti muscolari di entrambi i lati del tronco, sia pure con modalità alquanto differenziate (2). In particolare, è stata documentata una differente strategia di esecuzione durante la fase di pre-trazione-ancoraggio, con conseguente difformità dei livelli di attivazione muscolare. In alcuni di questi arcieri, l'arto che tende arretra rispetto al braccio che sostiene, mantenuto fisso, mentre in altri l'arto che tende arretra e l'arto che sostiene avanza. Gli autori affermano che la seconda delle due gestualità sembrerebbe essere più conveniente, poiché corrisponde a una minore attivazione dei muscoli trapezi e a una maggiore simmetria tra i due lati (3). Nella stessa pagaiata (canoa) si è notata la progressiva riduzione delle asimmetrie cinetiche in funzione dell'incremento di abilità degli atleti. Il che lascia ipotizzare la probabile riduzione delle differenze antropometriche con l'aumento dell'abilità dell'atleta, almeno in quegli sport che hanno come esigenza teorica una perfetta simmetria nella produzione di energia (4). Ritornando al tiro con l'arco, si ricorda come nelle varie fasi dell'azione tecnica di tiro vengono coinvolte numerose fasce muscolari, par-tendo dalla parte inferiore del corpo sino ad arrivare al capo. La maggior parte del lavoro avviene tramite i muscoli correlati con la scapola e la colonna vertebrale, mentre le articolazioni maggiormente coinvolte sono le due articolazioni scapolo-omerali. Dal momento in cui l'arciere si posiziona sulla linea di tiro fino a quando viene scoccata la freccia, le fasce muscolari coinvolte si alternano tra fasi di contrazione e rilassamento. Per evitare di contrarre eccessivamente i muscoli di interesse, risulta importante eseguire il gesto tecnico con la massima naturalezza e senza interruzioni tra le varie fasi. 5 Una tecnica di tiro scorretta può portare il neofita, anche dopo poche lezioni, alla comparsa di infiammazioni con possibili conseguenze traumatiche. Pertanto, risulta di notevole importanza la progressione didattica della tecnica di tiro. Una buona preparazione iniziale comprende: 1) iniziare a tirare con un arco leggero e di basso libraggio (6) su bersagli posizionati ad una distanza ragionevole (5-20 metri); 2) utilizzare gli elastici per simulare la tecnica e svolgere esercizi di compensazione sull'emilato opposto; 3) svolge-re sedute di preparazione fisica funzionale per le fasce muscolari maggiormente coinvolte durante l'azione di tiro; 4) evitare di sovraccaricare la muscolatura di interesse tirando un numero esagerato di frecce o aumentando eccessivamente il peso e/o il libraggio dell'arco. The Wine Attributes with the Greatest Influence in the Process of Consumer Choice in Spain
No full textThe commercialisation of wine in Spain is problematic due to two concrete circumstances: the decrease in wine consumption because of a consumer shift toward substitute drinks and the greater presence of national and foreign wine in the interior market, which involves an increase in business competitiveness. The increase in competitiveness of quality Spanish wine depends on producing enterprises’ knowledge of wine consumer preferences so they can offer consumers what they demand. In order to respond to this matter and better adapt supply, 421 wine consumers were surveyed using the Best-Worst Scaling methodology. Various segmentations were also made by consumer income and age groups. The results indicate that the two main attributes which condition consumers in choosing wine are the region of origin and having tasted it previously. The region of origin attribute is valued in general by consumers over 34 years old who have a monthly family income above 1,500 €. No full textThe purpose of this paper is to set out the Enron’s demise into the perspective of Corporate and Global Governance. To accomplish this target, the incremental cash flow model is expanded to give room for governance issues, while a functional introduction to information sets is developed, including bounded rationality, asymmetric information, opportunistic behavior, transaction costs and agency problems. Then, corporate governance is linked to globalization by means of some recent approaches that go beyond a narrow economic mindset to encompass a far-reaching dynamics. Taking advantage of such background, the Enron’s story is tracked down over a span of fifteen years since its starting day to its bankruptcy filing. Leading events are explained from corporate and global governance viewpoints, while an in-depth analysis is worked out on Enron’s complex game of deception and breach of contracts: the outrageous affiliated limited partnerships, the lavish pay package to its executives, the involvement with global governance through the Indian affair and the Taliban connection. It is for the incremental cash flow model to explain malfeasance with cash flows from assets, and how cash flows to creditors were actually contrived. No full textThis contribution intends to offer a concise and exhaustive overview of the scientific production on the topic, as well as to provide researchers with theoretical reflections, scientific hypotheses and what can be deduced from the personal baggage of experience in the field, albeit limited. All permeated by the hope that future epidemiological investigations will be conducted, compared to the past, with greater methodological rigor and with a more coherent and incisive modus operandi. It is unfortunately undeniable that until today the medical sciences have not been able or able to deal with the topic except in a fragmentary manner and with sometimes questionable criteria. The consequences? Few valid studies and too many hasty judgments. Judgments that have not infrequently been affected by a certain habit of our time: a sterile prevalence of discussions and abstractions of a physiopathological type, without the necessary attention to "evidence-based medicine" (Lisi, 2018).Esta contribución pretende ofrecer un panorama conciso y exhaustivo de la producción científica sobre el tema, así como brindar a los investigadores reflexiones teóricas, hipótesis científicas y lo que se puede deducir del bagaje personal de experiencia en el campo, aunque limitado. Todo ello impregnado de la esperanza de que las futuras investigaciones epidemiológicas se realicen, en comparación con las pasadas, con mayor rigor metodológico y con un modus operandi más coherente e incisivo. Lamentablemente es innegable que hasta el día de hoy las ciencias médicas no han podido ni han podido tratar el tema sino de manera fragmentaria y con criterios a veces discutibles. ¿Las consecuencias? Pocos estudios válidos y demasiados juicios precipitados. Juicios que no pocas veces se han visto afectados por cierta costumbre de nuestro tiempo: un estéril predominio de discusiones y abstracciones de tipo fisiopatológico, sin la necesaria atención a la “medicina basada en la evidencia” (Lisi, 2018)

No full textA new approach in team sports analysis consists in studying positioning and movements of players during the game in relation to team performance. State of the art tracking systems produce spatio-temporal traces of players that have facilitated a variety of research aimed to extract insights from trajectories. Several methods borrowed from machine learning, network and complex systems, geographic information system, computer vision and statistics have been proposed. After having reviewed the state of the art in those niches of literature aiming to extract useful information to analysts and experts in terms of relation between players’ trajectories and team performance, this paper presents preliminary results from analysing trajectories data and sheds light on potential future research in this field of study. In particular, using convex hulls, we find interesting regularities in players’ movement patterns

This paper deals with the contributions to Hispanic Linguistics by the German-Chilean linguist Rodolfo Lenz (1863–1935), some of whose proposals – often attributed to other scholars – may be seen as an alternative to the ideas of the prestigious Andrés Bello (1781–1865). The paper first reviews those aspects of his work which anticipate some of the basic tenets of Functional Grammar, such as the notion of ‘transposition’ (function shifting), his views on sentential structure, and his treatment of passives as attributive constructions. The paper also explores Lenz’s contributions to Indo-European linguistics and his theoretical affinities with, if not anticipations of, the work of other well-known linguists like Búhler, Tesnière, Hjelmslev, and Benveniste. In sum, the author seeks to vindicate Rodolfo Lenz and his insightful views in both general linguistic theory and Spanish grammar.</jats:p
