Esta trayectoria vital incide en la producción literaria de Max aub, no sólo en el plano temático, donde el exilio ocupa un lugar destacado en vastas zonas de su extensa obra, sino también en otro aspecto fundamental al que el propio autor daba un lugar destacado: la edición de sus textos. El presente artículo analiza la relación entre Max Aub y sus editores en francés, y reconstruye la historia de la edición de sus libros traducidos a ese idioma, en el contexto más amplio de la trayectoria editorial del autor. El abordaje se realiza a partir de la lectura del epistolario del autor con agentes del campo editorial francés, conservados en el archivo de la Fundación Max Aub.Max Aub´s biography is determined by the migratory movements linked to traumatic events of the twentieth century, mainly the First and Second World Wars and the Spanish Civil War. This vital path affects Max Aub’s literary production, not only thematically, being exile prominent in large parts of his extensive work, but also another essential aspect that the author gave great importance to: the publication of his texts. This article analyzes the relationship between Max Aub and his publishers in French, and traces his books publication history translated into that language, in the broader context of the author’s publishing history. Überlegungen zum Saturnier
No full textIt is impossible to cope with the almost unlimited variety of saturnian verse in trying to explain it in terms of the quantitive principles of Greek verse. Likewise, the existence of long and short words in the same line does not allow to count the different members in order to understand its composition. I prefer the epigraphical tradition of the saturnian verse in order to judge its quality and its origin. My study is based on two main observations : Certain evidence for the construction of a saturnian are those lines where word-accent and ictus coincide. The author had to arrange his text within the system of stressed syllables and theseis with regard to the accent of the single words. Therefore, he had to take account of the required number of arseis and the permitted quantities of theseis even if he had to shorten a iambic group into two syllables. It is the word order of the spoken language which determines the structure of the saturnian. Thus its diction of spoken language gains an enormous importance.On n'a aucune prise sur la multiplicité apparemment illimitée du mètre saturnien si on veut l'expliquer sur la base de la métrique grecque comme mesure quantitative. Dans le même vers, la représentation de mots longs et de mots brefs interdit également qu'on dénombre ses membres un à un pour comprendre sa composition. Pour juger de la qualité et de l'origine des saturniens je préfère la tradition épigraphique. Mes études s'appuient sur deux observations principales : ce sont uniquement les vers dans lesquels l'accent du mot et l'ictus du verbe coïncident qui produisent un repère sûr et invariable quant à la construction d'un saturnien. L'auteur devait ranger son texte dans le système de syllabes accentuées et de thésis, en observant l'accent des mots un par un. Pour cela il devait prendre en considération le nombre des arsis nécessaires et la quantité permise des thésis, même s'il fallait diminuer la quantité d'un groupe iambique à deux syllabes brèves. En ce qui concerne la disposition des mots, c'est l'effet de ces mots sur la parole orale qui décide de la structure du vers saturnien.
