Includes bibliographical references and index."Light scattering is one of the very common phenomena in nature. Light scatterometry has long been applied for atmospheric remote sensing and air quality monitoring, but its application field is relatively limited. This book at first gives a brief introduction of several important light scattering phenomena from the perspectives of the aspects of analytical chemistry. On the basis of a through introduction of light scattering theory, this book then introduces the measurements of light scattering signals, the elastic light scattering (ELS) spectrometry of different particles systems including the aggregation of organic dyes, plasmonic nanoparticles, and bioparticles, and extends their applications into life and environmental analytical chemistry. This book is the first of its kind to extend ELS measurements to various branches of modern spectroscopic analytical chemistry, which reflects the application prospects of ELS signals in spetroscopic analysis, especially in the imaging field"--Print version, page 4 of cover.Cheng Zhi Huang, Jian Ling, Yuan Fang Li -- Yuan Fang Li, Jian Ling -- Jian Ling, Cheng Zhi Huang -- Jian Ling, Cheng Zhi Huang -- Yun Fei Long, Jian Ling, Qie Gen Liao, Cheng Zhi Huang -- Yun Fei Long, Jian Wang, Jian Ling -- Jian Wang, Jian Ling, Yue Liu, Peng Fei Gao -- Li Qiang Chen, Cheng Zhi Huang -- Jian Wang -- Zhong De Liu, Jian Wang -- Li Zhang, Jian Wang -- Jian Ling, Yun Fei Long -- Sai Jin Xiao, Cheng Zhi Huang -- Jian Wang, Ke Jun Tan -- Xiao Bing Pang, Yan Yin. Inquiétants étrangers? Problématiques identitaires dans Le dit de Tianyi de François Cheng et Été strident de Ling Xi

François Cheng and Ling Xi are two migrant writers born in China who live in France and have chosen to write in French. They belong to different generations of writers and illustrate the transculturation of the French literary field. Their works are to a large extent influenced by their experience of migration and favor questions of identity: the main characters in their texts are situated in-between cultures, languages and sexes and suggest different strategies to deal with identity problems linked (not only) to their migrant condition. While François Cheng’s work is placed under the sign of reconciliation, Ling Xi, whose writing is more subversive, suggests the maintenance of the tensions and wants to describe what she calls the “third half”.François Cheng y Ling Xi, dos escritores emigrantes de origen chino que viven en Francia y han elegido delibera¬damente el francés como medio de expresión literaria, ilustran la trans-culturación que se está produciendo en la actualidad en el ámbito literario francés. No full text
Cheng Ching-wen has a wide variety of interests in writing, including novel, short story, fairy tale, literature, political review, miscellaneous writing and translation of Western literary works. Cheng has been engaged in writing for fifty years and accomplished a tremendous amount of quality work. This thesis would focus on three of Cheng\ue2s novels. Structure of the thesis would be the first part which has been finalized after several modifications. Chapter One Explain the reason why to choose Cheng\ue2s novels as the topic of this thesis. Chapter Two Study the writer\ue2s life and creation background. Analyze how his special growing background, learning process, friends and reading preference impact on his writing. Also, discuss the relationship between his inspirations and his works from the three geographic environments where he grew up. Chapter Three Discuss the origin of Cheng\ue2s creation ideas. Analyze Cheng\ue2s creation style and the formation of his tragic philosophy of life from the perspectives of Western literary works and the philosophy of life. Chapter Four Explore how Cheng creates the image of a novel character through artistic portrayal of characters and analyze Cheng\ue2s language style from three perspectives. Chapter Five Discuss Cheng\ue2s novels from four major topics: suffering common people, the greatness of mother\ue2s love, life of the peasantry in Taiwan and the forbidden political issues. Based on these topics, explore the ideas that Cheng embodies in these three novels. Chapter Six Conclusion: Summarize Cheng\ue2s creations and writing style.
