Design and Fabrication of Micro Power Harvesting Device
Over the years, there has been a growing interest in the field of power harvesting technologies for low-power electronic devices such as wireless sensor networks and biomedical sensor applications. Out of all possible energy sources, the mechanical vibrations have been considered a potential choice for power harvesting in a wide variety of applications. This paper presents the development of a piezoelectric MEMS generator which has the ability to scavenge mechanical energy of ambient vibrations from their surroundings and transform it into electrical energy that can be used in sensor applications. The piezoelectric MEMS generator comprises a beam structure built with laminated lead zirconate titanate (Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, PZT) material sandwiched between the upper and the lower electrodes to transform mechanical strain energy into electrical charge. A proof mass is built at the end of the beam to adjust the structure resonant frequency of the piezoelectric MEMS generator for most adaptable to the ambient vibration of their surroundings. To improve the piezoelectric MEMS generator fabrication process, a self-made PZT deposition chamber which could deposit PZT thin film up to tens micron in minutes was used to deposit the piezoelectric layer on the beam structure of the piezoelectric MEMS generator. Combine this newly developed instrument with other MEMS technologies forms the basis to fabricate the micro piezoelectric MEMS generator.誌謝 I

Study of Charmless Hadronic B→hh, B→ηKπ and B→ηππ Decays at Belle
We report improved measurements of branching fractions for B→Kπ, B→ ππ and B → KK decays based on a data sample of 447 million BB pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- storage ring. This data sample is almost five times larger than the sample previously used. We also report the ratios of partial widths for B →Kπ and ππ decays. The values obtained Rc = 1.08 +- 0.06 +- 0.07 and Rn = 1.07 +- 0.08 +- 0.08 are consistent with Standard Model expectations. Clear signals in B+ → K0K+ and B0 → K0K0 are observed with significances of 5.7 σ and 6.0 σ , respectively. The corresponding branching fractions are measured to be B(B+ → K0K+) = (1.23+0.33-0.28 +- 0.07) x 10-6 and B(B0 → K0K0) = (0.88+0.25-0.21 +- 0.09) x 10-6. We also report their partial rate asymmetries: ACP (B+ → K0K+) = 0.133+0.229-0.240 +- 0.003, ACP (B+ → K0π+) = 0.034+-0.032+-0.001 and ACP (B0 → K0K0) = -0.571+0.719-0.647 +-0.013. No signal is observed in the decay B0 → K+K- and we set an upper limit of 2.5 x 10-7 at 90% confidence level.
We also study the B → ηK+π- and B→ ηπ+π- decays using 386 million BB pairs. The measured branching fractions are B(B0 → ηK+π-)= (31.7 +- 1.9+2.2-2.6) x 10-6, where the first error is statistical error and the second one is systematic error. The possible three-body decay of B0→ ηπ+π- and the possible two-body decays of B0 → a+-0 h-+ with a-0 → ηπ- have also been searched for, where h stands for either kaon or pion. No significant signal has been found and we obtain B(B0 → ηπ+π-) < 11.9 x 10-6, B(B0 → a+-0 K-+ ) x B(a-0 → ηπ-) < 1.6 x 10-6 and B(B0 → a+-0 π-+ ) x B(a-0 → ηπ-) < 2.8 x 10-6 for the 90% C.L. upper limits.Introduction 1

A Study of Brand Building Strategy of Taiwan SME in China Market
THESIS ABSTRACT
The thesis aims to explore the branding strategies that adopted by Taiwanese industries who achieved operational excellence. The author of the study had worked in the product manufacturing of winter sports for thirty-five years and, during which, had become an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for many well-known brands. At the high peak of the business, the researcher had tried to launch a private brand but failed. For, in the OEM industry, the commissioning company does not allow the commissioned contractor to compete in the same market. As one person''s gain is another person''s loss, you cannot have your cake and eat it.
As the economy and per capita income increase rapidly in China, leisure sports become fashionable. Money-bragging is a common phenomenon in a newly rich country: playing golf in summer and skiing during winter season, and thus a significant new market emerges. This newly formed consumer market is outsize in comparison with any existed marketplace, and every brand is trying its best to come up with a entry strategy. This research then is set to tackle what entry strategies are effective at this particular point of time. Using contemporary management science and logical deduction, the thesis investigates how to successfully establish the brand of Freesport in the new Chinese skiing market. What Freesport observes? Has Freesport got advantages? What strategies does Freesport need? How Freesport can uphold its strategy effectively and profitably?
In summarization, the branding strategy of Freesport is constructed upon five major axis: (1) identify the core values of the brand as the backbone of the branding strategy; (2) create brand label in order to establish a clear brand association and identification; (3) institute brand models to enhance brand values; (4) maximize the brand value; (5) risk management of the brand, as to avoid possible crisis. Additionally, Freesport also strengthens its branding strategy by focusing on three stages (short-/mid-/long-term) and two dimensions (the breadth and depth of its branding model).
The research outcomes of the thesis can provide insights into formulating branding strategy for the capable industries in Taiwan. Hopefully, the study will help the industries to rise above being a mere OEM and to develop individual brands, which can maximize the value of individual business, under the idea of sustainable development and the drive of social consciousness.目錄

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
koamabayili/VECTRON-author-checklist: VECTRON author checklist
We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
