[[abstract]]ABSTRACT Tien Pei-Lin was born in 1893, and dead in 1975. Tien Pei-Lin had devoted himself to the education in Honan in his early lifehood. In addition, he had also devoted himself to the education in Taiwan since he came to Taiwan in 1938. He is an educational thinker and practitioner. This study is the first thesis on exploring Tien Pei-Lin’ educational thought and academic career in our country. As far as the research method is concerned, the study is to make use of documentary analysis method and interview method. As to the content of study, at first, it illustrates Tien Pei-Lin’life and important works to illuminate his life process and central ideal. Secondly, the study inquires Tien Pei-Lin’ historical background and influence of other scholars to make us understand his philosophical basis and philosophical views. Thirdly, the study aims at inquiring Tien Pei-Lin’ educational thought and academic career to make us realize his educational thought and his contributions to our country’s education and culture. At last, the study illustrates Tien Pei-Lin’ educational thought implications, and thus it makes some suggestions for contemporary education. 一、Implications 1.Education is a process of creating spiritual values. 2.We need to criticize the deficiency of quantitative research paradigm. 3.We need to reflect educational love in the relationship between teachers and students. 二、Suggestions 1.Education should emphasize the creation of spiritual values. 2.The teacher should advocate educational love. 3.We need to develop the views of teacher education which adapts to social changes. 4.We need to develop the educational institution which is based on traditional culture. 5.We need to develop the research paradigm which involves qualitative research and quantitative research.

Hydroxy-terminated polyether binders for composite rocket propellants

    Get PDF
Propellants based on cross-linked Hydroxy Terminated PolyEther (HTPE) binders are being used as alternatives to Hydroxy Terminated PolyButadiene (HTPB) compositions. HTPE propellants have similar mechanical properties to HTPB propellants but they give a less severe response in ‘slow cook-off’ tests for IM compliance. A literature review is presented on the development and properties of HTPE propellants in an attempt to place them in relation to recent trends in Insensitive Munitions. To gain a better understanding of the behaviour of HTPE propellants an HTPE pre-polymer and a range of binder network samples with different NCO/OH equivalence ratios, with and without plasticizer, have been synthesised and characterised by a range of techniques. The thermal decomposition of the HTPE binder network and propellant samples were also studied. Desmodur N-3200 was used as a curing agent and n-BuNENA as an energetic plasticizer. Similar analyses were performed on analogous HTPB pre-polymer and binder network samples and the results were compared with those obtained for the corresponding HTPE samples. Two kinds of HTPE propellant were manufactured containing HTPE pre-polymer, n-BuNENA, 2NDPA and either AP or AP+PSAN as oxidiser. Also HTPB propellant was prepared. Small cook-off test vehicles (SCTV) were filled with HTPE and HTPB propellants and slow cook-off tests were performed. In contrast to HTPB binders, which become harder during slow heating, it was found that the HTPE binders soften under the same conditions. This behaviour is possibly due to chain scission of the soft and hard segments of the HTPE polymer matrix. Thermooxidative processes and reactions of the energetic plasticizer decomposition products are believed to be the responsible for the scission of the polymeric matrix. From the binder characterisation and slow cook-off results it is concluded that there is a relation between the degree of polymeric matrix scission during slow heating and the violence of the response at the point of self ignition. This underlies the main difference between HTPB and HTPE propellants in slow cook-off. While HTPB compositions become harder and more brittle, HTPE propellants become softer and have a lower surface area at the self ignition point

Biography of Lin Wen Zhong Gong has another way to call, that is Judge Lin. The leading character is Lin Ze-Xu. This book is based on functionary experience of Lin Ze-Xu, with the captivating plots of court case, helping by highly skilled military attach\uc3\ua9s and chivalrous knights, and the history facts of Opium War. It makes Lin Ze-Xu\ue2s Confucian temperament and tragic mood more, also contrasts with author\ue2s sorrow and furiousness for the politics at the time. History, court case, martial arts\ue2\ua6\ue2\ua6etc. are essence of this book and it broadens the way of this writing style. The topic of the thesis is \ue2An Analysis of Judge Lin\ue2. The following thesis will be divided into six different chapters. The introduction is Chapter one of the thesis, which is including researching motive and purpose, literature review of predecessors, researching version by existing information, raising questions, choosing research methods and arranging chapters. In chapter Two, I discuss the study of characters of Lin Ze-Xu, also makes a deep analysis of author\u27s purpose of writing him. In chapter Three, I analyze supporting actors and actress. Meanwhile, I illustrate author\u27s purpose of writing supporting actress because the author had different manner to describe supporting actress. Moving to the Chapter Four, I mainly focus on the plots of Judge Lin, and organize cases of Lin Ze-Xu and his subordinates to understand features of cases. In Chapter Five, I represent the causes of Opium War. China and England had difference of opinions of opium. Therefore, it is easier to comprehend what the author\u27s purpose is. In the last chapter I summarize the main points of the preceding chapters and confirm particularity of Judge Lin

ANALISIS REGRESI HAZARD ADITIF DENGAN MODEL LIN DAN YING

Time to event data (survival data) is data of length of time until the event occurs. If the event time is affected by other independent variables, regression analysis can be used to analyze the effects of those independent variables. One of some kinds of regression analysis that can be used is additive hazard regression with Lin and Ying model. In Lin and Ying additive hazard model, the regression coefficients are constants, time-independent. The method that can be used to estimate regression coefficients in this model is similar with maximum partial likelihood method in Cox regression. The estimation of regression coefficients can be obtained from score equation which is obtained from mimicing the score equation from Cox model. Score equation of Cox model is the derrivative of the partial likelihood. In this paper, additive hazard regression analysis with Lin and Ying model is used to analyze some variables that affect the failure of medication of TBC patients in Puskesmas Mantang, Lombok Tengah. Risk Differences are also computed to explain each of the effects of independent variables. It is also presented here the alternative method, hazard regression analysis with Aalen model, which uses the graph of cumulative regression functions to interprete the effects of independent variables. It can be seen that additive hazard regression with Lin and Ying model has advantage in the interpretation of the effects of independent variables, compared to additive hazard regression with Aalen mode
