[[alternative]]Study on the Influence of Local Festival Activities on Cultural Industry--Taking Jiande Palace in Budai Town as an Example
[[abstract]] 節慶主要是蘊含歷史文化精粹、適合在地化、有主題並且公開性的慶典活動,主要保護文化資產最好的方式為舉辦文化節慶活動。 布袋鎮過溝建德宮「火燈夜巡」活動已成嘉義縣頗具規模的節慶觀光活動,本研究以嘉義縣布袋鎮過溝庄頭廟「建德宮」的「火燈夜巡」活動為個案,旨在探討節慶活動對文化產業發展經驗及歷程與社區關係的探討,以期具體落實在地節慶活動文化與薪傳,增進整體社區向心力,達成節慶文化永續傳承。 本研究透過文獻回顧、資料蒐集與活動相關人員訪談、層級分析等方法整理出,建德宮起源及節慶、節慶活動、文化產業的相關文獻來作為研究的基礎面向。藉由質性研究方法中的訪談法,探討地方節慶活動對地方文化產業發展的影響,並將訪談資料及蒐集文獻進行整理與分析。研究結果顯示目前建德宮依照傳統禮俗於廟會節慶活動演出傳統戲曲,發現文化傳承人口外移嚴重、年齡層上升,傳承出現斷層;在周邊商家方面,對商家經濟效益影響不大,缺乏完善規劃在地美食區;在社區與居民方面,整體環境整潔社區居民願意貢獻精力維持,建德宮節慶活動使得居民與建德宮產生情感,提升整體社區向心力,社區居民更依民俗活動特色,創造新的在地文化表演「火燈舞」,使得在地文化能夠更加蓬勃發展。 本研究並提出具體的建議,讓觀光資源與節慶活動結合,串聯其他廟宇信仰文化特色,以保存傳統文化為前提注入新元素,為建德宮創造新記憶,再以在地文化結合教育,讓在地文化能夠向下扎根,以供建德宮及其他廟宇文化傳承之後續發展及往後有意進行相關節慶活動參考。[[abstract]] The festival is mainly a celebration of the essence of history and culture, suitable for localization, theme and openness. The best way to protect cultural assets is to hold cultural festivals. The "Firelight Night Patrol" activity of the Guogou Jiande Palace in Budai Township has become a large-scale festival and sightseeing activity in Chiayi County. This study is based on the "Firelight Night Patrol" activity of Guogou Jiande Palace in Budai Township ,Chiayi County. For the case, it mainly discusses about cultural industry development experience and process and community relations in the festival activities, with a view to concretely implementing the local festival activities culture and inheritance, enhancing the overall community centripetal force and achieving the sustainable inheritance of the festival culture. This study sorts out the related literatures about origins and festivals, festivals activities and cultural industries of Jiande Palace as the basis of research through literature review, data collection and interviews with relevant personnel, and hierarchical analysis. Through the interview method in the qualitative research method, discussing the influence of local festival activities on the development of local cultural industry, collating and analyzing the interview data and collected literature. The research results show that Jiande Palace currently performs traditional operas in the temple fairs according to traditional custom. It is found that the cultural inheritance population is seriously displaced, the age layer rises, and the inheritance breaks. In the surrounding businesses, the economic benefits of the businesses are not affected, and the plan of the local food district is lacking. In the community and residents, they are willing to contribute energy to maintain the overall environment, Jiande Palace festival activities to make residents and Jiande Palace to generate emotions, enhancing the overall community centripetal force, community residents create new local cultural performance "Fire Light Dance" according to the characteristics of folk activities, making the local culture more vigorous. This study also puts forward specific suggestions to combine sightseeing resources with festival activities, connecting other temple beliefs and cultures, injecting new elements on the premise of preserving traditional culture,creating new memories for the Jiande Palace.In addition , the combination of local culture and education will allow the local culture to take root, for the follow-up development of the Jiande Palace and other temples culture inheritance,and it can be a reference for intending to carry out relevant festival activities in the future

Abnormal gastric slow waves in patients with functional dyspepsia assessed by multichannel electrogastrography
The aim of this study was to utilize multichannel electrogastrography to investigate whether patients with functional dyspepsia had impaired propagation or coordination of gastric slow waves in the fasting state compared with healthy controls. The study was performed in 10 patients with functional dyspepsia and 11 healthy subjects. Gastric myoelectrical activity was measured by using surface electrogastrography with a specially designed four-channel device. The study was performed for 30 min or more in the fasting state. Special computer programs were developed for the computation of the propagation and coupling of the gastric slow wave. It was found that, compared with the healthy controls, the patients showed a significantly lower percentage of slow wave propagation (58.0 ± 8.9 vs. 89.9 ± 2.6%, P < 0.002) and a significantly lower percentage of slow wave coupling (46.9 ± 4.4 vs. 61.5 ± 6.9%, P < 0.04). In addition, the patients showed inconsistencies in the frequency and regularity of the gastric slow wave among the four-channel electrogastrograms (EGGs). It was concluded that patients with functional dyspepsia have impaired slow wave propagation and coupling. Multichannel EGG has more information than single-channel EGG for the detection of gastric myoelectrical abnormalities. </jats:p
Novel communication method between power converters for DC micro-grid applications
Communication between power converters is vital for high performance DC micro-grids controls. However, for residential DC micro-grid applications, using external communication link would increase the system cost, and reduce the system flexibility and reliability. This paper presents a novel method to enable the conventional DC/DC converters to transmit data via the common DC Bus. With this technology, cost-effective low bandwidth communication links between power converters can be established within a DC micro-grid, and advanced distributed control algorithms can be developed. A reliable communication with 2 kbps transmission rate has been implemented between the Boost converters through the common input DC bus
Active DC bus signaling control method for coordinating multiple energy storage devices in DC microgrid
Management of multiple energy storage devices in a DC microgrid is a challenge. Conventional method, such as droop control, cannot ensure accurate current sharing in coordinating multiple battery banks, which limits the DC microgrid system performance. This paper proposed an active DC bus signaling (ADBS) method to coordinate multiple battery banks in a DC microgrid. It has the advantages of accurate current sharing. Using the proposed ADBS method, the master controller can collect State of charge (SoC) of each slave battery bank by actively varying the DC bus voltage levels and monitoring the current change. The master module then sets a working voltage level after decision-making. The proposed method was experimentally evaluated, and the experimental results show that all the possible working voltage levels can be reached and the accuracy of current sharing is guaranteed
Intestinal Electric Stimulation Accelerates Whole Gut Transit and Promotes Fat Excrement in Conscious Rats
*_Introduction:_* Intestinal electric stimulation (IES) is proposed as a potential tool for the treatment of morbid obesity. Our previous study showed that IES with one pair of electrodes accelerated intestinal transit and decreased fat absorption in a segment of the jejunum in the anesthetized rats. The aims of this study were to assess the effects of IES on the whole gut transit and fat absorption in conscious rats, to examine the effects of multi-channel IES, and to explore the cholinergic mechanism behind the effects of IES. 
*_Methods:_* Thirty-eight male rats implanted with serosal electrodes were randomized into five groups: control without IES, 2/3 channel IES with short pulses, atropine and atropine plus IES. The whole gut transit and fat remained and emptied from the gut were analyzed after continuous 2-hour IES. 
*_Results:_* Two and three channel IES significantly accelerated phenol red (marker used for transit) excretion (ANOVA, P < 0.001). No significant difference was found between two and three channel IES. Two channel IES significantly increased the excretion of fat (P < 0.05). Atropine significantly blocked the accelerated transit induced by IES (ANOVA, P < 0.001). Correlation was found between the percentage of phenol red and fat retained in the whole gut (r = 0.497, P < 0.01). 
*_Conclusions:_* IES accelerates whole gut transit and promotes fat excrement in conscious rats, and these effects are mediated through the cholinergic nerves. These findings are in support of the concept that IES may be a promising treatment option for obesity
