Current Situation and Measures of Environment Affected by Mine Water in Hunan Limin Coal Mine
The pump drainage of mine water in Hunan Limin Coal Mine has caused various problems including huge depression cone and collapse of goaf roof, resulting in serious leakage of surface water. Therefore, a great need of measures should be conducted. In this paper, the mine water properties and the hydrogeological characteristics were studied. The results indicate that the PH value of main shaft water of Limin Well is 2.21-3.81 (average: 2.90), Fe2+ is 178-1,308 mg/L, Mn2+ is 3.93-8.65 mg/L; the PH value of auxiliary shaft water is 3.45-4.08, Fe2+ is 876-1,264 mg/L, Mn2+ is 6.27-8.71 mg/L; the PH value of Shuikoushan old pithead water is 2.33-3.91, Fe2+ is 1,059-2,207 mg/L and Mn2+ is 23.00-34.00 mg/L, which indicates that the mine water in the area is strongly acidic, and Fe2+ and Mn2+ exceed the standard seriously. Based on the characteristics of mining tunnel in the area, the wellhead of artesian water in Limin Well should be closed with shaft without pressure so as to ensure that the mine water can be discharged out in a concentrated and orderly way. The sewage treatment facilities at the main shaft of Limin Well need to be expanded, and new sewage treatment facilities should be built at Shuikoushan old pithead. Through hydrologic survey and water balance analysis, Zhoutou Reservoir can be used as a water source to construct drinking water project, which can completely solve the problem of drinking water safety in the area. The study would solve the bad situation of Limin Coal mine by providing the corresponding measures, which could provide the references for the similar mines when facing these problems

Cultural exploitation in chinese politics: Reinterpreting liu sanjie
Liu Sanjie is a typical Chinese legendary figure, adapted from folk custom and transformed during many historical and political stages. By comparing the musical film Liu Sanjie with the landscape performing art Impression Liu Sanjie, this paper explores how Liu Sanjie is reconstructed in the Impression to be in accord with contemporary demands (shidaixing). In the film, made during the 1960s, Liu Sanjie was promoted as a heroine fighting against the privileged classes, but in the Impression, her class struggle has been erased and only a harmonious and abstract legend remains. Her ethnicity is promoted by Han elites as not exclusive Zhuang, but shared equally with Han, Miao and Dong ethnicity in an imagined community to propagate a sense of ethnic harmony and unified Chineseness. Her transformation from a realistic character, full of a rebelling spirit, to an abstract and disembodied ‘sense of harmony’, is a complete reinterpretation of a Chinese historical legend. Utilizing a term from Wang Ban (1997), ‘the sublime figure of history’, which refers to an ideology aestheticized by the party state for securing its governance, this paper refers to the bold artistic treatment of Liu Sanjie for cultural exploitation as ‘Liu Sanjie’s sublime’. The paper explores the evolutionary progress of Liu Sanjie from class revolution to art revolution in response to political requirements. The author is a stage-trained performing artist, specialized in both Western opera and Chinese classical and folk singing and dance. He is also a critic and art consultant in the Chinese landscape performing arts industry. These professional roles have allowed privileged access to the top people in this industry

From mobiles to clouds : developing energy-aware offloading strategies for workflows
Cloud computing and mobile computing are two of the most influential technologies that look set to change the face of computing in the coming years. Combination of the two provides us with an unprecedented opportunity to provide highly portable and yet content-rich and computation-intensive services to the end user. In this paper we investigate the possibility of using code/task offload techniques between mobile and cloud in order to reduce the energy cost of workflows deployed on mobile devices. We first present a vision in which mobile devices are coordinated over a network, which is equipped with a layer of cloud-like infrastructures which we term cloudlets, whose computational resources can be leveraged by the mobile devices to host the execution of mission-critical mobile workflows in an energy-aware manner. We then build a model that encompasses various characteristics of the workflow's software and the network's hardware devices. With this model, we construct the objective functions that guide the offload decisions. We then present a heuristic algorithm that produces statistical and dynamic offload plans according to these objective functions and their variations both statically and dynamically. We conclude the paper with a series of simulation studies, the results of which give insight into the offload-ability of workflows of different characteristics. The results also illustrate how different hardware specifications can affect offload efficiency. These studies indicate that our offload algorithm can significantly improve the energy efficiency and execution speed of mobile workflows
Suppression of the fluctuation effect in terahertz imaging using homomorphic filtering
To suppress the fluctuation effect due to laser power instability and terahertz radiation fluctuation, a homomorphic filtering method is proposed to process the terahertz images obtained from a pulsed terahertz raster scanning imaging system. The physical model of homomorphic filtering for terahertz imaging is established. The mathematical expressions are given with the specific physical meaning in accordance with the imaging principle. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the method, a homomorphic filtering experiment based on two raw terahertz images selected from the literature using a continuous-wave (CW) terahertz source is also performed. The effect of the method is compared with those described in the literature, and the advantages of homomorphic filtering are discussed. The pulsed- and CW-terahertz image processing results both show that in addition to suppressing the fluctuation effect, the method can also enhance target imaging
