Problems in black-hole entropy interpretation
In this work some proposals for black-hole entropy interpretation are exposed and investigated. In particular, I will firstly consider the so-called ''entanglement entropy'' interpretation, in the framework of the brick wall model ('T HOOFT G., Nucl. Phs. B, 256 (1985) 727), and the divergence problem arising in the one-loop calculations of various thermodynamical quantities, like entropy, internal energy and heat capacity. It is shown that the assumption of equality of entanglement entropy and Bekenstein-Hawking one appears to give inconsistent results. These will be a starting point for a different interpretation of black-hole entropy based on peculiar topological structures of manifolds with ''intrinsic'' thermodynamical features. It is possible to show an exact relation between black-hole gravitational entropy (tree level contribution in path integral approach) and topology of these Euclidean space-times. The expression for the Euler characteristic, through the Gauss-Bonnet integral, and the one for entropy for gravitational instantons are proposed in a form which makes the relation between these self-evident. Using this relation I shall propose a generalization of the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy in which the for mer and Euler characteristic are related in the equation S=chi A/8. The results, quoted above, are more largely exposed in previous works (BELGIORNO F. and LIBERATI S., Divergences problem in black hole brick-wall model, Preprint gr-qc/9503022.; LIBERATI S. and POLLIFRONE G., Entropy and topology for manifolds with boundaries, Preprint hep-th/9509093). Finally, I will try to expose some conclusions and hypotheses about possible further development of this research

Private Autonomy and Family Public Policy in Italy
The article deals with the general clause of public policy in Italian family law. It analyses the recent case-law application of both international and internal public policy in the Italian legal system. Nowadays, public policy is used for protecting and developing the fundamental rights of individuals in the EU space. However, the content of this general clause is debated, and there are several theses (e.g. constitutional, discretionary, globalized public policy). Adhering to one concept rather than another has different consequences. Think, for example, of the recognition of double paternity acquired abroad through a surrogacy contract. Moreover, family public policy can be viewed both as public policy of the family (a general clause that protects the family rather than its members) and public policy in the family (a general clause that protects the fundamental rights of the individuals rather than the family). Subsequently, the article analyses prenuptial and postnuptial agreements in Italy. Italian jurisprudence considers both agreements invalid because they are in contradiction to public policy. The article suggests that families can use the contractual instrument. However, personal and patrimonial clauses in domestic family agreements need to be compatible both with the public policy of the family and public policy in the family. Ultimately, public policy becomes a tool attributed to ordinary judges for guaranteeing widespread constitutional [email protected] Liberati Buccianti – profesor w Katedrze Studiów Biznesowych i Prawnych na Uniwersytecie w Sienie, Włochy.Giovanni Liberati Buccianti – Professor at the Department of Business and Legal Studies at the University of Siena, Italy.Sapienza University of Rome, ItalyBarba V., L’ordine pubblico «internazionale», ‘Rassegna di diritto civile’ 2018, vol. 39, no. 2.Basini G.F., I c.d. «patti prematrimoniali». 'Which Tax' or 'Which Tax for What': Tax Assignment in the Theory of Fiscal Federalism
What is the power of traditional and competitive theories of fiscal federalism in explaining tax assignment at a local level? This article deals with this issue, arguing that both theories fail to properly explain the practice of tax assignment across countries. The author shows that the inapplicability of local benefit taxes makes the theory of tax assignment both under- and overdetermined in the framework of the traditional theory where the public sector is a benevolent player. The author also shows that the politicians’ misconduct that is emphasized by competitive theories of fiscal federalism would lead toward earmarking local taxes, if the aim is to enforce responsibility, a feature that is not widely observed in practice. It is therefore argued that alternative lines of research must be addressed to rationalize the practice of tax assignment
