Myosin light chains of avian and mammalian slow muscles: peptide mapping of 2S light chains.

Abstract
The 2S light chains of mammalian and avian slow muscle myosin, indistinguishable by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, have been examined by peptide mapping. The fragments obtained with S. aureus V8 protease were analysed either by gel electrophoresis or by reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography. The peptide maps of avian 2S light chains contain fragments distinct from those of mammalian 2S light chains. Chicken and turkey LC2S appear to be more similar to each other than those from mammalian species (rat and rabbit). These results are in agreement with the relative phylogenetic distances among the four species studied here. The 2S light chain of slow muscle represent further examples of polypeptides which comigrate in two-dimensional gel electrophoresis in spite of their different peptide maps.

Elementi indiziari per lo studio dei nuovi paesaggi del consumo: i giovani nel quartiere Chiaia a Napoli
The paper, which contains the first results of a research on the places of consumption, examine the circumstantial elements for the studt of the landscapes of consumption of young people, analyzing, as a case study, the Chiaia neighborhood in Naples. Having framed the issue in the broader debate on the geography of consumption, the attention is devoted to the "microgeographies" of consumption of young people. Next, the attention is paid on the role played today by the city of Naples, between flanerie and new forms of consumption and then focussing on the consumption spaces of young people in the Chiaia district. Through qualitative methods of empirical research, the consumption practices of young people are deepened, highlighting not only the forms of negotiation but above all the conflicts that arise for the use of the spaces of the "movida" and those of nightlife, especially in the times of night and weekends

Introduction
City, Retail and Consumption focuses on changing urban spaces through the interpretative key offered by retail and consumption, between globalization processes and the embeddedness in local contexts. The book is the outcome of the fourth international seminar organized by geographers from various countries (Brazil, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain) and enriched by the contributions of specialists (architects, urban planners, engineers, economists) and stakeholders. It collects almost fifty texts written after a fruitful debate not only about theories, approaches and methods but also about the practical implications of the urban planning for shopping and consumption places. The case studies range from Sao Paulo to Presidente Prudente, from Buenos Aires to Mexico City and again from Barcelona and Lleida to Lisbon, Paris, Ankara, Copenhagen and many Italian cities. Through different scales of analysis, the contributors have indeed paid their attention on relevant issues to urban studies: resilience, sustainability, dialectic between public and private spaces, impact of e-commerce in urban areas, residential and retail gentrification, neoliberalism and the right to the city
