This species is superficially similar to A. patulella Walker, with similar forewing markings, but can be distinguished by the male genitalia with a long, narrow, strongly curved process in the left valva and the palmate scales with short stalks. Male genitalia (Figs. 8, 8a–b). The illustration of the male genitalia given by Li & Zheng (1998, Fig. 268) is a line-drawing and thus they are re-illustrated here with detailed photos. The phallus is flattened in the distal portion as shown in figure 8. Material examined. 4♂, Tad Leuk Waterfall, Bolikhamsai Prov. 18°23'N, 103°04'E, 206 m, 10 xi 2015, Bae et al., gen. slide no. On the Li--Zheng theorem

By the well-known I.Kotlarski lemma, if ξ1\xi_1, ξ2\xi_2, and ξ3\xi_3 are independent real-valued random variables with nonvanishing characteristic functions, L1=ξ1ξ3L_1=\xi_1-\xi_3 and L2=ξ2ξ3L_2=\xi_2-\xi_3, then the distribution of the random vector (L1,L2)(L_1, L_2) determines the distributions of the random variables ξj\xi_j up to shift. Siran Li and Xunjie Zheng generalized this result for the linear forms L1=ξ1+a2ξ2+a3ξ3L_1=\xi_1+a_2\xi_2+a_3\xi_3 and L2=b2ξ2+b3ξ3+ξ4L_2=b_2\xi_2+b_3\xi_3+\xi_4 assuming that all ξj\xi_j have first and second moments, ξ2\xi_2 and ξ3\xi_3 are identically distributed, and aja_j, bjb_j satisfy some conditions. In the article, we give a simpler proof of this theorem. In doing so, we also prove that the condition of existence of moments can be omitted. Moreover, we prove an analogue of the Li--Zheng theorem for independent random variables with values in the field of pp-adic numbers, in the field of integers modulo pp, where p2p\ne 2, and in the discrete field of rational numbers.Comment: 15 page

[[alternative]]Professor Li Zheng-Zhi research achievements of Li Bai's poems

[[abstract]]Professor Li Zheng-Zhi committed Li Bai decades of research, although related works much, But it is very important works of each . From the early "Go Gangneung” Lenovo and Li Bai to go traveltoLi Bai's “Diaoao” consciousnessare made with a view of originality. This paper discusses research progress reverse mining : first holistic analysis of Poetry Professor Li Zheng-Zhi text, and further study of his poetry from these data views , then re-enter the core of their research achievements-Li Bai's “Diaoao”consciousness. Finally, analysis of Li Bai position he made history in literature-" Han and Six Dynasties master of poetry ." Basis. Hope that through this article, Li Bai poem can complete presentation of research results of Professor Li Zheng-Zhi

Water Injection of a Small Engine

    No full text
The main objective of this project is to create a water injection system for a small air cooled engine. The design involves a 6.5 hp 4 stroke engine, with a displacement of 196cc. The design intent is to design an injection system to inject a water/methanol mixture at a given rate to assist the air cooling of the engine and increase the density of the intake air by decreasing the temperature. These systems are common on high performance, large 4 stroke water cooled engines in cars. Some benefits of using a water/methanol mixture is that it cools the intake air and reduces the emission of NOx from combustion. Our design is focused on creating an intake tube that will be easily bolted onto the intake of any small engine, and an injection system to inject the water mist into the tube. The solution to be injected is a water mist, which will cool the intake charge and cause the air to be denser. There will be two temperature sensors, one for the incoming air and one for the treated air with the mixture. Due to our budget constraint of $400, there will not be a NOx sensor on the exhaust to measure the emissions. In order to use the NOx emission reduction, the intake charge must have a sizable temperature reduction in the intake tube before proceeding into the engine. Our simplistic design will be able to record the temperature difference between the incoming air and treated water/methanol vapor mixture. The design also incorporates a small nozzle of size 0.003” for the mixture passageway into the tube, limiting the flow from the electric pump to prevent too much flow into the engine. The pump, which is a 12v DC powered pump, will have a potentiometer to adjust the resistance and therefore adjust the flow from the pump into the system
