    Two page letter from Lewis. J. Stewart to Ralph L Cheney dated June 21, 1918. In the letter Stewart tells Cheney that he is glad to have received his letter and hear about how the graduation day ceremony went. Stewart informs Cheney about what he does during the day and how things have been going at his camp.Ralph Loren Cheney graduated from Springfield College in 1901. After graduating from the College Cheney became a secretary for the Y.M.C.A. in Albany, New York from 1901 to 1903 and then the General Secretary for the Y.M.C.A. of Niagara Falls, New York from 1903 to 1907. After which he would become an Instructor for Springfield College in 1907 and remain as one until 1924. In 1924 he would become the General Secretary for the Y.M.C.A. in New Haven, Conn and would retire in 1938. Lewis J. Stewart graduated from Springfield College in 1918. After graduating he would enter the service for WWI until 1919. After the war, he would become an Agent for the Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co. until 1920. He was an Insurance Broker/Agent from 1920 to 1962
