Mathematical model for the technical premium calculation
V diplomskem delu je predstavljen matematični model za izračun tehnične premije.
V uvodnem poglavju so vpeljane osnove verjetnostnega računa.
V drugem poglavju sta opisani dve slučajni spremenljivki, pomembni za gradnjo verjetnostnega modela, in sicer število škod in višina škod. S pomočjo primerov so vpeljane
enačbe za izračun osnovnih karakteristik teh dveh slučajnih spremenljivk. Le-te so potrebne za strukturo porazdelitvene funkcije.
V naslednjem poglavju je definirana struktura premije in izračun neto premije. Da zavarovalnica lahko določi višino premije, mora poznati tveganje, ki ga prevzema. Komponente za določanje tveganja so zavarovalna vsota, škodni indeks, verjetnostna porazdelitev celotnega izplačila in varnostni dodatek.
V zadnjem poglavju sta definirani dejanska škoda in višina zahtevka. Določene so osnovne postavke neto premije, ki povečana za varnostni dodatek tvori tehnično premijo. Vpeljano je premijsko načelo, ki se lahko uporabi za izračun ustrezne višine varnostnega dodatka. Opisana so različna premijska načela in sicer načelo pričakovane vrednosti, načelo variance, načelo standardnega odklona in načelo kvantilov, s katerimi definiramo izračun tehnične

Introductory chapter explains the basics of probability.
The second chapter describes two random variables important for constructing a probability model, the loss amount and the claim amount. With the help of examples, equations for
calculating basic characteristics of those two random variables are introduced. They are necessary to structure a distributional function.
Premium structure and net premium calculation is defined in the next chapter. Insurance company needs to know the risks it takes so that it can determine the premium. Components
for determining the risk are sum insured, the risk index, probability distribution of total payment and the safety loading.
The last chapter defines actual loss and claim amount. The basics of net premium are set, which, enlarged for the safety loading, form the technical premium. Premium principle which can be used to calculate the sufficient height of the safety loading is explained. There are also
descriptions of premium principles: expected value principle, variance principle, standard deviation and percentile principle which we use to define a technical premium calculation
Determination of the mixing power in the compounding of the bulk materials with screw stirrer
Eden najpomembnejših procesov v procesni industriji je mešanje, bodisi tekočin bodisi nizko- in visoko viskoznih snovi ali pa mešanje sipkih snovi med seboj brez tekoče faze. Predvsem slednje področje je slabše raziskano, zato je le-to tudi predmet tega diplomskega dela. V našem eksperimentu se je mešanje izvajalo s pomočjo obstoječe mešalne naprave, dveh izdelanih vijačnih mešal in s pomočjo osebnega računalnika ter programske opreme LabVIEW. Meritve mešanja delcev so pokazale, da je za mešanje različnih velikosti sipkih delcev z različno velikostjo mešal potrebna tudi različna mešalna moč.One of the most important processes in the process industry is mixing, whether of liquids or low- and high-viscid substances, or the mixing of fine substances without the liquid phase. The process of fine substance mixing without the liquid phase is poorly researched, thus used as the subject of this diploma work. In the experiment, the mixing was carried out with the help of a mixing device, two build helical mixers, and a personal computer using the software LabVIEW. The measurements of the particle mixing showed that it is necessary to use different mixing power for the mixing of fine particles of different sizes with different mixer sizes
Dimensioning of rollers in paper industry
Diplomska naloga opisuje preračun valjev, ki so del kontinuirnega papirnega stroja v podjetju Papirnica Količevo d.o.o. V nalogi je predstavljen celoten postopek od preučevanja obstoječe dokumentacije in računalniškega modeliranja valjev do numeričnega preračuna po metodi končnih elementov. V nadaljevanju je izveden še analitični preračun kritičnih mest in določitev faktorjev varnosti. Vzporedno s praktičnim delom naloge je predstavljeno tudi teoretično ozadje, ki pripomore k razumevanju vsebine izvedenega preračuna. Na koncu naloge so predstavljeni rezultati obeh izvedenih metod (napetosti in pomiki) za vsak valj posebej.This diploma work describes the calculation of rollers, which are part of a continuous paper machine at the company Papirnica Količevo d.o.o. The thesis presents the whole process from the study of the existing documentation and computer modelling of the rollers to the numerical calculation according to the finite element method. Furthermore, analytical calculations of critical sites and determination of safety factors have been carried out. In parallel with the practical part of the task, the theoretical background is also presented, which helps to understand the content of the performed calculations. At the end of diploma, the results of both performed methods (stress and strain) are presented, separately for each roller

Five Years of Constitutional Jurisprudence in Bosnia and Herzegovina: A First Balance. EDAP 7/2004
The article reflects the experiences of the author after having served as one of the three international judges of the Constitutional Court of BiH from 1997 to 2002. Based on the relevant case-law of the Constitutional Court it gives a basic overview of the constitutional structure of BiH and analyses the position of the Court vis-à-vis other institutions established under the Dayton-Agreement and the powers of judicial review and human rights protection based on its appellate jurisdiction. Moreover means of interpretation and the elements of constitutional doctrine elaborated through case-law as well as organisational and procedural matters such as the role of dissenting opinions are discussed. In conclusion the article reflects the role of the Constitutional Court in transition from an ethnically divided and war-torn society to democracy and the effective protection of human and minority rights
Uloga boje u gradnji glazbenog oblika u odabranim djelima Marka Ruždjaka / Sound Spaces: The Role of Timbre in Building Musical Form Within a Selection of Marko Ruždjak's Work
Some of the most successful works in the opus of Marko Ruždjak would have been impossible to conceive without the clarinet, the composer’s favourite instrument, as well as wit- hout the guitar, percussion, and voice (soprano, baritone or choir). The author researches how the composer’s choice of instrumental timbres and the voicing of the instruments as solo part or part of a larger sound aggregates (or units) is guided by a singular idea, which can be defi- ned as sound space. The timbre in this context is not conceived just as an element of a two- dimensional unit (building contrasts or overflowing and fusion in the temporal flow), rather it participates in the building of the spatial (and emotional) perspective. It contributes to a building of a specific musical form and expression. Ruždjak’s works have been analyzed through the categories that are linked to the Klangkomposition aesthetics of the Sixties. In the first part of the text, the formal function of individual parameters such as dynamic and regi- ster in the works Passamezzo, Tentatio, Canto peregrino, Versus, Ricercar is analyzed. In the se- cond part of the text, the analysis of Odrazi, Andantino, Notturno is developed through the more complex dimensions such as "static immobile surfaces", "surfaces in movement", "globally static surfaces, flecked with internal movement". They have been deduced from the published and unpublished texts by Györgi Ligeti. The theoretical background for the analysis of the sound's formal functions in the works of Ruždjak is part of the Klangkomposition's aesthetic. Together with the analysis of harmonic and motivic dimensions of the composer's language, they conduct to the possibility of a deeper understanding of the synthesis between various stylistic trajectories that are characteristic for the musical path of Marko Ruždjak
