Gideon Thomas Laney (1889-1976), also known as Gid, was the prominent photographer for the Brasstown and Sweetwater areas of Clay County, North Carolina in the first part of the 20th century. Trained as a portrait photographer and motivated by the need for flexible work after the death of his wife Martha Creech Ison in 1929 left him a single parent, Gideon borrowed his sister’s bellows camera and began to photograph the people and events of his community. He sent his film off to be developed by Weaver Studio in Copperhill, Tennessee and later by Crisp’s Studio in Murphy, North Carolina. Monitoring Kualitas Aplikasi PeduliLindungi Berdasarkan Rating Pelanggan di Google Play Menggunakan Diagram Kendali Atribut Laney p’
Indonesia sedang berjuang untuk melawan pandemi COVID-19. Beberapa upaya telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk memutus rantai penularan virus ini. Salah satu langkah yang dilakukan pemerintah adalah melakukan pelacakan kontak digital di Indonesia dengan menggunakan aplikasi PeduliLindungi. Masyarakat dapat mengunduh aplikasi PeduliLindungi melalui Google Play, App Store, dan AppGallery. Suatu aplikasi selalu memiliki kekurangan dan kelebihan masing-masing, kolom komentar yang tersedia di Google Play menjadi salah satu tempat para pengguna aplikasi untuk menyampaikan opini serta penilaian berupa rating terhadap aplikasi tersebut. Rating yang diberikan oleh pengguna aplikasi PeduliLindungi yang terdapat di Google Play dapat dijadikan bahan pengendalian kualitas terhadap aplikasi PeduliLindungi. Data rating pengguna aplikasi PeduliLindungi di Google Play dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi persebaran defect atau kelas negatif dengan diagram kendali p dan Laney p’. Diagram kendali p dan Laney p’ dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi persebaran defect atau kelas negatif. Diagram kendali Laney p’ merupakan diagram kendali atribut untuk memonitor proporsi cacat dengan ukuran sampel yang besar dan bervariasi. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mulai dari 1 April 2020 hingga 31 Maret 2022. Hasil analisis diagram kendali p dan Laney p’ berdasarkan rating pengguna aplikasi PeduliLindungi di Google Play masih terdapat banyak diagram kendali yang belum terkendali secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa pihak developer aplikasi PeduliLindungi masih perlu melakukan perbaikan. Jenis kendala tertinggi yang dirasakan oleh pengguna aplikasi adalah sertifikat vaksinasi tidak muncul di aplikasi PeduliLindungi
Pengendalian Kualitas Statistika Terhadap Defect Proses Produksi Lemari Es di PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia Menggunakan Diagram Kendali Laney U, Laney Demerit, dan Laney AHP Demerit
Perkembangan teknologi di indonesia sangat cepat dan hal ini diiringi dengan
banyaknya produk elektronik yang digunakan masyarakat. Salah satunya lemari es yang
berfungsi untuk mendinginkan makanan dan minuman menjadi alat elektronik penting bagi
masyarakat saat ini. Produksi lemari es di PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia memiliki dua jenis,
yaitu satu pintu dan dua pintu kedua jenis ini merupakan produksi dalam negeri dengan
kualitas yang menjanjikan serta inovasi model yang terus berkembang. Namun, monitoring
proses produksi yang dilakukan di PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia dilakukan secara manual
dan belum menerapkan monitoring menggunakan diagram kendali. Oleh karena itu,
dibutuhkan analsis pengendalian kualitas dengan menggunakan diagram kendali u, demerit,
dan demerit berbasis AHP untuk memaksimalkan proses produksi lemari es di PT Sharp
Electronics Indonesia. Setelah dilakukan analisis pengendalian kualitas dengan diagram
kendali u, demerit, dan AHP demerit didapatkan hasil bahwa ketiga diagram kendali
menunjukkan adanya overdispersi, sehingga memerlukan analisis lebih lanjut dengan
menggunakan diagram kendali Laney u, Laney demerit, dan Laney demerit berbasis AHP.
Pada setiap diagram kendali menunjukkan adanya titik observasi out of control sehingga
proses produksi lemari es PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia tidak terkendali secara statistik.
Sementara itu, diagram kendali Laney demerit berbasis AHP merupakan diagram kendali
dengan sensitivitas paling tinggi dengan menunjukkan titik out of control paling banyak.
Kemudian pada analisis kapabilitas proses, menunjukkan nilai performance process kurang
dari satu sehingga proses tidak kapabel.

Technological developments in Indonesia are very fast and this is accompanied by the
large number of electronic products used by the public. One of them is a refrigerator which
functions to cool food and drinks and has become an important electronic device for today's
society. Refrigerator production at PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia has two types, namely one
door and two doors, both types are domestic production with promising quality and model
innovation that continues to develop. However, monitoring of the production process carried
out at PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia is carried out manually and monitoring using control
charts has not been implemented. Therefore, quality control analysis is needed using AHP�based u, demerit and demerit control charts to maximize the refrigerator production process at
PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia. After carrying out quality control analysis using u, demerit,
and AHP demerit control diagrams, the results showed that the three control diagrams showed
overdispersion, thus requiring further analysis using AHP-based Laney u, Laney demerit, and
Laney demerit control charts. Each control diagram shows that there is an out of control
observation point so that the PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia refrigerator production process is
not statistically controlled. Meanwhile, the AHP-based Laney demerit control chart is the
control chart with the highest sensitivity by showing the most out of control points. Then in
the process capability analysis, it shows that the process performance value is less than one so
the process is not capable
Laney P' Chart Effectiveness in Quality Control of Cigar Production
AbstractThis study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Laney p' chart in overcoming the limitations of conventional p-chart in cigar quality control, especially in handling overdispersion of production data. Overdispersion often occurs in agricultural processes with large sample sizes, resulting in narrow control limits and false alarms. The study was conducted at PT Taru Martani, using cigar quality data from three main production units from August 2021 to July 2022. A quantitative descriptive approach was used to analyze the proportion of product defects. Initial analysis with conventional p-chart showed that 29,140 units in the Cocoon Unit, 23,602 units in the Rolling Unit, and 5,987 units in the Dry Cigar Unit were out of control due to overdispersion. After the Laney p' chart application, the control limits were expanded to 234.7%, significantly reducing false alarms and increasing sensitivity to actual variations in the data. The analysis showed that Laney p' chart was more effective in identifying relevant process variations. The process in the Dry Cigar Unit continued to show instability, likely due to humidity and raw material quality fluctuations. These findings highlight the importance of environmental control and raw material stability in maintaining product quality. This study provided practical contributions to the quality control of high-value agricultural products. It is recommended that further studies explore the integration of other statistical methods and study deeply the relationship between external factors and product quality.Keywords: Agricultural products, cigars, Laney p' chart, overdispersion, quality control AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Laney p' chart dalam mengatasi keterbatasan p-chart konvensional pada pengendalian mutu cerutu, khususnya dalam menangani overdispersi data produksi. Overdispersi sering kali muncul dalam proses agrikultur dengan ukuran sampel besar, menghasilkan batas kendali yang sempit dan alarm palsu. Studi dilakukan di PT Taru Martani, menggunakan data mutu cerutu dari tiga unit produksi utama selama Agustus 2021 hingga Juli 2022. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis proporsi kecacatan produk. Analisis awal dengan p-chart konvensional menunjukkan bahwa 29.140 unit di Unit Kepompong, 23.602 unit di Unit Pelintingan, dan 5.987 unit di Unit Cerutu Kering berada di luar kendali akibat overdispersi. Setelah penerapan Laney p' chart, batas kendali diperluas hingga 234,7%, mengurangi alarm palsu secara signifikan dan meningkatkan sensitivitas terhadap variasi nyata dalam data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Laney p' chart lebih efektif dalam mengidentifikasi variasi proses yang relevan. Proses di Unit Cerutu Kering, misalnya, tetap menunjukkan ketidakstabilan, kemungkinan akibat fluktuasi kelembaban dan kualitas bahan baku. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya pengendalian lingkungan dan stabilitas bahan baku dalam menjaga mutu produk. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam pengendalian mutu produk agrikultur bernilai tinggi. Borderline Personality Disorder Experienced By Laney Brooks In I Smile Back Film
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is as a pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity that begins by early adulthood and is present in a variety of contexts. This study was conducted to analyze the main character?s Borderline Personality Disorder of I Smile Back film. The purposes of this study are to explain Laney Brooks?s borderline personality disorder described in the film, the cause and how the way she overcomes her borderline personality disorder with all the conflict in her daily activity. Laney?s borderline personality disorder is the impact of repression. This study was done using a descriptive qualitative method and using Theory of Personality and repression theory by Sigmund Freud and. The object of the study was the I Smile Back film and this study focused on Laney Brooks as the main character. The results indicate that Laney Brooks undergone Borderline Personality Disorder. Statistical Quality Control of Plastic Spoon Production Process at PT XYZ Using Laney Demerit Control Chart and Analytical Hierarchy Process-Integrated Statistical Process Control
The industrial sector is one of the crucial sectors in the development and economic growth in Indonesia. One of the industries that has progressed along with the times is the plastics industry. In general, the plastic manufacturing process is divided into four types, namely injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and blow molding. PT XYZ is one of the companies that operates the plastic production process using injection molding machines. In the implementation of production using this injection molding machine, it is common to find the product defects. It is very likely that the product defect will become plastic waste. One of the causes of environmental damage today is the disposal of plastic waste, because it takes a long time to destroy naturally. Therefore, it is necessary to control the statistical quality of plastic production process in order to fulfill customer satisfaction and also maintain product quality in accordance with the provisions. In this research, statistical quality control will be carried out using u control chart, demerit control chart, AHP-based demerit control chart, Laney u control chart, Laney demerit control chart, and AHP-based Laney demerit control chart. The results of the u control chart, demerit control chart, and AHP-based demerit control chart show that the plastic spoon production process at PT XYZ was not statistically controlled and further analysis was needed using the Laney control chart. After the analysis, the results of the Laney u, Laney demerit, and AHP-based Laney demerit control charts show that the plastic spoon production process at PT XYZ in phase I has been statistically controlled after being handle because of the out of control observation points. In phase II, it was obtained that the plastic spoon production process at PT XYZ was not statistically controlled. Meanwhile, the process capability analysis shows that the production process is not capable.

Sektor industri merupakan salah satu sektor krusial dalam perkembangan dan pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia. Salah satu industri yang mengalami kemajuan seiring dengan perkembangan zaman adalah industri plastik. Secara umum, proses pembuatan plastik dibagi ke dalam empat jenis, yaitu injection molding, ekstrusi, thermoforming, dan blow molding. PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahan yang mengoperasikan proses produksi plastik dengan menggunakan mesin injection molding. Dalam pelaksanaan produksi menggunakan mesin injection molding ini, tidak jarang ditemukannya produk defect. Sangat mungkin terjadi jika produk defect tersebut menjadi sampah plastik. Salah satu penyebab rusaknya lingkungan hidup saat ini adalah pembuangan limbah sampah plastik karena plastik memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama untuk membuat hancur secara alami. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas statistik dalam upaya pemenuhan kepuasan customer dan juga menjaga kualitas produk sesuai dengan ketentuan. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan pengendalian kualitas statistik dengan menggunakan peta kendali u, peta kendali demerit, peta kendali demerit bebasis AHP, peta kendali Laney u, Laney demerit, Laney demerit berbasis AHP. Hasil peta kendali u, peta kendali demerit, peta kendali demerit berbabis AHP menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi sendok plastik di PT XYZ tidak terkendali secara statistik dan perlu dilakukannya analisis lanjutan dengan menggunakan peta kendali Laney. Setelah dilakukannya analisis, hasil peta kendali Laney u, Laney demerit dan Laney demerit berbasis AHP menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi sendok plastik di PT XYZ pada fase I telah terkendali secara statistik setelah diatasi karena adanya titik pengamatan yang out of control.
