Efficient Implementations of Complex and Real Valued Filter Banks for Comparative Subband Processing with an Application to Adaptive Filtering (301kB)
No full textIn this paper, we discuss efficient methods to implement correlation type algorithms in subbands. Based on a polyphase representation, a modulated GDFT filter bank with arbitrary integer decimation ratio can be performed at minimum cost, yielding complex subband signals. Real valued subbands can be achieved by appropriate postprocessing of the complex filter bank. Algorithm specific, complex or real implementation may be better suited, for which we present criteria. For the example of subband adaptive filtering as applied in acoustic echo cancellation, we compare a number of algorithms with respect to their best implementation

Clypeus basally strongly convex, apically deeply concave; ovipositor 0.73 times as long as hind tibia, with slanting ridges at the tip of both lower and upper valves. Description. A full description can be found in Pham et al. (2010). Etymology. We name the new species in honor of Prof. Dr. Ing. C. van Achterberg, Senior Researcher and Curator of Hymenoptera, Department of Terrestrial Zoology, the National Museum of Natural History, Leiden, Netherlands, who collected the type specimens and for his great contribution to entomological research in Vietnam. Material examined. Two specimens: Holotype 1 Ƥ (RMNH), Dak Lak, Chu Yang Sin NP, Krong K’Mar, 740–900 m a.s.l, 02– 10.VI. 2007, Malaise trap, C. v. Achterberg & R. de Vries. Polymérisation avec une lampe led : tests comparatifs in vitro
No full textCe travail a pour but d'établir si les lampes LED (Lampes à diodes électroluminescentes ou Light Emitting Diodes) sont au moins équivalentes aux lampes halogènes en terme d'efficacité de polymérisation des composites de collage orthodontiques.
L'expérimentation a consisté à comparer, in vitro, la résistance au "cisaillement" d'attaches métalliques collées en méthode directe sur de l'émail dentaire (76 dents), par un composite de collage photopolymérisable (Transbond XT®), polymérisé avec une lampe halogène (Optilux 501 SDS KERR®) pendant 10 secondes pour un groupe puis avec une lampe LED (Penled Minilight SEDR®) pendant 6 secondes pour l'autre.
Les tests d'arrachement par cisaillement sont réalisés immédiatement après le collage.
Les résultats conduisent à la conclusion suivante : la résistance à l'arrachement par cisaillement des brackets collés avec la lampe LED est statistiquement équivalente à celle obtenue avec la lampe halogène
