Behavior Preservation in Model Refactoring using DPO Transformations with Borrowed Contexts
Behavior preservation, namely the fact that the behavior of a model is not altered by the transformations, is a crucial property in refactoring. The most common approaches to behavior preservation rely basically on checking given models and their refactored versions. In this paper we introduce a more general technique for checking behavior preservation of refactorings defined by graph transformation rules. We use double pushout (DPO) rewriting with borrowed contexts, and, exploiting the fact that observational equivalence is a congruence, we show how to check refactoring rules for behavior preservation without the need of considering specific models. When rules are behavior-preserving, their application will never change behavior, i.e., every model and its refactored version will have the same behavior. However, often there are refactoring rules describing intermediate steps of the transformation, which are not behavior-preserving, although the full refactoring does preserve the behavior. For these cases we present a procedure to combine refactoring rules to behavior-preserving concurrent productions in order to ensure behavior preservation. Seeking according to G. H.
The aim of the M.A. thesis The Seeking according to G. H. is to introduce the prose The Passion According to G. H. by Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector (1920-1977) and examine this literary work in relation to biblical motives which appear in the novel. First, the author presents Lispectorʼs life and work and mentions her contribution to the Brazilian literary canon. Then he thoroughly analyses and interprets the prose The Passion According to G. H. In the next section, he focuses on selected Biblical motives and shows semantic shifts in the work. The thesis is subsequently concluded by a brief reflection on the function of Biblical themes. Variation in seedling growth of 11 perennial legumes in response to phosphorus supply
Phosphorus (P) deficiency is a major problem for Australian agriculture. Development of new perennial pasture legumes that acquire or use P more efficiently than the current major perennial pasture legume, lucerne (Medicago sativa L.), is urgent. A glasshouse experiment compared the response of ten perennial herbaceous legume species to a series of P supplies ranging from 0 to 384 µg g⁻¹ soil, with lucerne as the control. Under low-P conditions, several legumes produced more biomass than lucerne. Four species (Lotononis bainesii Baker, Kennedia prorepens F.Muell, K. prostrata R.Br, Bituminaria bituminosa (L.) C.H.Stirt) achieved maximum growth at 12 µg P g⁻¹ soil, while other species required 24 µg P g⁻¹. In most tested legumes, biomass production was reduced when P supply was ≥192 µg g⁻¹, due to P toxicity, while L. bainesii and K. prorepens showed reduced biomass when P was ≥24 µg g⁻¹ and K. prostrata at ≥48 µg P g⁻¹ soil. B. bituminosa and Glycine canescens F.J.Herm required less soil P to achieve 0.5 g dry mass than the other species did. Lucerne performed poorly with low P supply and our results suggest that some novel perennial legumes may perform better on low-P soils.Jiayin Pang, Mark Tibbett, Matthew D. H. G. Adler (1910-1988)
The result of my extensive research project is the first comprehensive study on the life and work of H. G. Adler, an important member of the circle around Elias and Veza Canetti, Erich Fried etc., whose ground-breaking scholarly work long overshadowed his reputation as a creative writer. Adler, a German-Jewish writer, born in Prague in 1910, was the inmate of various National Socialist concentration camps (Theresienstadt, Auschwitz) during the Second World War and lived in exile in London from 1947 until his death in 1988.
Both as a scholar and as a creative writer, this prolific author is one of the most interesting and most versatile personalities in postwar history. In addition to publishing seminal works on the Holocaust, he left behind an important and to a large extent unpublished body of work, consisting of narrative prose, poetry and drama as well as scholarly articles and books on history, sociology, politics, psychology, language and literature, music, arts, philosophy, theology and Jewish studies. The works of H. G. Adler address central contemporary concerns, cover a large number of areas of interest (European cultural and intellectual history, 20th century German literature, exile studies, Holocaust research etc.) and shall thus - so I hope - attract considerably more attention in the future.
This monograph attempts to close a major gap in exile studies that has often been complained about in the past. Its most important topical areas are: H. G. Adler's biography, Theresienstadt (Terezín), exile in England, the development and interdependence of scholarly work and literature, H. G. Adler's position amongst writers such as Karl Kraus, Franz Kafka, George Orwell, Elias Canetti and W. G. Sebald, H. G. Adler as Franz Baermann Steiner's literary executor, H. G. Adler's position amongst London émigrés, H. G. Adler and Austria (despite his exile in England, Adler throughout his life remained closely associated with Austrian culture).
This study focuses on Adler's most important and best known works "Theresienstadt 1941-1945" and "Die verheimlichte Wahrheit", books and articles like "Die Dichtung der Prager Schule" and "Der Kampf gegen die 'Endlösung der Judenfrage'", which have hitherto been neglected by academic research, the voluminous autobiographically structured or autobiographically influenced novels "Panorama", "Eine Reise" and "Die unsichtbare Wand" as well as numerous unpublished texts, documents and photographs from Adler's literary estate. It is rounded off by a complete bibliography of H. G. Adler's publication from 1947 to 1988.

Mineral Nutrition Of Campos Rupestres Plant Species On Contrasting Nutrient-impoverished Soil Types
In Brazil, the campos rupestres occur over the Brazilian shield, and are characterized by acidic nutrient-impoverished soils, which are particularly low in phosphorus (P). Despite recognition of the campos rupestres as a global biodiversity hotspot, little is known about the diversity of P-acquisition strategies and other aspects of plant mineral nutrition in this region. To explore nutrient-acquisition strategies and assess aspects of plant P nutrition, we measured leaf P and nitrogen (N) concentrations, characterized root morphology and determined the percentage arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) colonization of 50 dominant species in six communities, representing a gradient of soil P availability. Leaf manganese (Mn) concentration was measured as a proxy for carboxylate-releasing strategies. Communities on the most P-impoverished soils had the highest proportion of nonmycorrhizal (NM) species, the lowest percentage of mycorrhizal colonization, and the greatest diversity of root specializations. The large spectrum of leaf P concentration and variation in root morphologies show high functional diversity for nutritional strategies. Higher leaf Mn concentrations were observed in NM compared with AM species, indicating that carboxylate-releasing P-mobilizing strategies are likely to be present in NM species. The soils of the campos rupestres are similar to the most P-impoverished soils in the world. DIALOGO TEMA H. G. GADAMERIO HERMENEUTINĖJE FILOSOFIJOJE
Straipsnyje nagrinėjama dialogo problemos sklaida ir sprendimo būdai H. G. Gadamerio hermeneutinėje filosofijoje. Kaip pradžios taškas dialogo temos plėtotei pristatoma F. D. Schleiermacherio hermeneutikoje plėtota interpretacijos kaip autoriaus ir interpretatoriaus dialogo samprata. Akcentuojant interpretacijos produktyvumo ir naujos prasmės kūrimosi aspektą, atskleidžiami interpretacijos ir tiesioginio dialogo panašumai. Tai pagrindžiama nagrinėjant dialogą kaip horizontų liejimosi veiksmą ir atskleidžiant kito esaties bei susikalbėjimo patirties interpretacijoje ir tiesioginiame pokalbyje bruožus. Galiausiai nagrinėjama, kaip dialogo temos įtraukimas į hermeneutinę filosofiją keičia pačios interpretacijos, jos tikslų bei metodo sampratą.

Summary
The article analyzes the dialog problem in the H. G. Gadamer’s hermeneutical philosophy. As primary point of the problem spreading is presented the interpretation construction of dialog between author and interpreter in F. D. Schleiermacher’s hermeneutic. The similarity between interpretation and the dialog is presented from the side of interpretation productivity and creation of new meanings. This is based on analyĮteikta sis of the dialog as fusion of horizons and the experience of other being and reciprocal understanding in the communication. Finally, the article explains how incorporation of the theme of the dialog changes the conception of interpretation, its purpose, aim and method.
