Written by Postgraduate Student: Yun Dao Chueh Directed by Professor: Chien Chi Ming
This research is divided into 3 main stages of time: the first one from 1946 to 1973, the second one from 1974 to 1987 and the last one from 1988 to 2001 to explain the National Games’ time background, as well as its development process and how it influences our nation’s physical education, national sports and physical competitions. Thus, we have reached at the following conclusions:
1. In 1946, for celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Restoration of Taiwan and the former President Chiang’s birthday, the “Taiwan Province’s Games” was created officially under his instructions.
2. Since 1967, Taiwan province and cities hold Games respectively, even they spent a lot of money, but contestants’ result was rather mediocre. And then the Department of Physical collected all responses and opinions from all circles, and from 1974, the Games were hold by the Province and cities altogether, which was therefore changed into “Taiwan Districts’ Games”.
3. In 1997, upon the foundation of National Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, furthermore, and the common consensus of “retrench the Province” was reached during the National Development Meeting, Taiwan Province has been voided since then. On the consequence of politic environment changes, the Province (District) Games for more than half century has been changed to “National Games”, which was hold from then on by the National Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
4. Affecting Physical education, national sports activity and athletics competitions, the National Games’ superiorities are synthesized as follows:
(1) Constructing physical organizations, handling actively all kinds of operations
(2) Increasing the opportunities of Games, building up sportive competitions seasons.
(3) Developing traditional and new athletic items, increasing sports population.
(4) Concreting national physicals development, fastening national subtraction.
(5) Discovering outstanding sport contestants, raising the average of competition level.
(6) Enhancing the experiences of hosting Games’, better preparation for big international Games.
(7) Protruding local characteristics, integrating physicals and arts.
(8) Increasing physical education facilities, assistance to pedagogy.
(9) Constructing more stadiums, increasing the public’s exercise places.
(10) Adding public’s exchange domestically, promoting local consolidation.

Evans (1949) considered this taxon a synonym of Ampittia dioscorides etura Mabille, 1891 described from Hong Kong. This treatment was followed by subsequent authors (e. g. Yamanaka 1980; Bridges 1983; Hamano 1987; Chiba et al. 1992). The name matsumurai Sonan, 1936 is regarded as a junior subjective synonym of Ampittia dioscorides etura Mabille, 1891 in the present study.Published as part of Chiba, Hideyuki, Hsu, Yu-Feng, Tsukiyama, Hiroshi, Lo, Philip Yik-Fui, Chen, Chien-Ren & Wang, Shou-Ming, 2009, Jinhaku Sonan's skipper type collection deposited at Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae), pp. 48-58 in Zootaxa 2202 on page 53, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18965

The purpose of this study was to inquire into the education beliefs and teaching behavior of professional teachers and technical teachers in industrial high schools under the current education environment. The methods adopted the survey and the depth interview. The research sample consisted of 350 professional teachers and 124 technical teachers. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation. Conclusions were made as follows:
1."Education effectiveness", "teacher teaching" and "student learning" of professional teachers and technical teachers were better than their "education reform" in education beliefs.
2.Their "teacher-student relationships" and "student individual differences" were better than "curriculum and learning" and "teachers' roles" in teacher behavior.
3. Professional teachers in "teacher teaching", "student learning teachers' roles" and "student individual differences" were stronger than those of technical teachers.
4. Teachers who were younger, from northern-area schools or with two and more teacher licenses had a stronger sense of the relationship between the education beliefs and teaching behavior.
5. Higher teacher's education beliefs would result in higher teaching behavior.
According to the above-mentioned conclusions, the following suggestions were made:
1. The educational administration organizations should communicate more often with teaching staff for the improvement of their confidence in education reform.
2. The teacher-training institutes should provide more training opportunities for the teachers to strengthen their education confidence and better performance in their teaching career.
3. The prospects of industrial high schools must be built and advanced study or training programs for the teachers should be encouraged for better performance and higher professional career agreement with their jobs.
4. The competency level of industrial high school teachers should be lifted to catch up with the contemporary development trends of the era and it is also beneficial for education efficiency and confidence building of their professional career.

The Establishment of the Ming Dynasty : The impeachment cases of the Hung-wu 洪武 reign and the relocation of the capital
The first three reigns of the Ming dynasty--Hung-wu, Chien-wen 建文, and Yung-lo永樂--are usually considered as follows : In the Hung-wu period the foundation of the dynasty was laid; after the"disturbances of Ching-nan" 靖難之變, the Yung-lo reign saw these changes institutionalized. More concretely, the abolition of the Chung-shu Chancery 中書省 in 1380, the consequent advancement of the Six Boards, and the establishment of the li-chia 里甲 system in the next year, represented the first stage of the process ; the re-establishment of the capital in Peking in 1421 marks its final completion. In this view, the Hung-wu reign and the succeeding Chien-wen period are taken together as progressive stages of the establishment of Ming institutions. The Yung-lo reign is thus viewed as a departure. There is a complete division between the first two reigns and the Yung-lo period. The capital was moved to Peking, in this view, because that is where the Yung-lo emperor had been enfeoffed. In this article, in contrast to this, I place the Hung-wu and Yung-lo reigns together, and treat the Chien-wen period as aberrant. From this viewpoint, the fact that the Ming government was established in the south--in other words, the fact of the historical development of South China-- becomes an important element. It was the landlord class of that area which played a great role in the foundation of the dynasty, and thereafter formed its chief support. Because of the economic development of this region, officials of southern origin, as well as the resident landlords, played a leading role. Because the capital was located in the heart of this productive region, at Nanking, the economy was inevitably centred in the south. The government became a monopoly of southerners 南人. Obviously, this tendency ran counter to the plans of a government which intended to embrace all the nation in its rule. The five cases of impeachment in the Hung-wu period represent a thorough-going reaction to the southern officials and landlords, and the plans at the end of the reign for moving the capital to Sian 西安 also were made with a view to unification. However, these plans were not carried out and in the Chienwen reign, with the capital remaining in Nanking, a pro-Southern stance was adopted. This had been necessitated by the great power of the princes in the north, which led the Chien-wen regime to consolidate its own power base. Under the influence of southern officials, the Chien-wen regime laid plans to dispossess the northern princes. The anti-southern policies of the Hung-wu period were completely reversed. Thus the Yung-lo emperor opposed the Chien-wen emperor's plans for disenfeoffment and caused the "disturbances of Ching-nan." The removal of the capital to Peking after he became Emperor is certainly not because this was his old domain. As a rescript issued upon his accession makes clear, he proposed to continue and carry out the policies of the Hung-wu period. The early Ming dynasty, as a whole, despite variations of direction, represent a movement away from a government dominated by southerners. and towards a unified state
