,[ix, 106 p. :]오늘날 이산화탄소 절감 및 처리 문제는 단순한 환경적 문제를 넘어 국가 산업 경제적 측면에서도 주요한 사안이 되었습니다. 이를 위한 여러 가지 관련 기술들이 개발되고 있는 가운데, 이산화탄소의 포집 및 활용법은 (Carbon Capture and Utiliza-tion, CCU) 자연계의 광합성 원리를 기반으로 태양에너지, 물, 이산화탄소를 이용하여 현재 연료소비체계에 바로 적용 가능한 탄화수소 화합물 연료를 생산해 내는 에너지 순환 기술로 1) 지구상에 풍부한 태양에너지와 물을 주원료로 사용하고, 2) 태양에너지를 저장 및 수송이 가능한 화학물질로 변환함으로써 일교차에 따른 태양에너지의 불규칙함을 극복할 수 있고, 3) 화석연료의 무분별한 사용으로 발생되는 CO2 기체를 감소 및 활용 할 수 있다는 특징으로 많은 주목을 받고 있습니다. 또한 인공적인 광합성 과정을 통해 CO2를 변환하면 일산화탄소 (CO), 메탄 (CH4), 메탄올 (CH3OH), 포름산 (HCOOH), 수소 (H2) 등의 기상 및 액상의 화학물질들을 얻게 되는데, 이들은 대부분은 현재 우리 실생활에 사용중인 대체에너지원보다 월등히 높은 에너지밀도를 가지고 있으므로 갈수록 수요가 높아지고 있는 에너지 수급체계를 해결해 줄 수 있다는 이점도 가지고 있습니다.
상술한 CCU 기술의 핵심은 태양에너지를 받아 물을 산화시키고 동시에 CO2를 환원시키는 인공광합성 기술을 구현해내는 광촉매 물질을 개발 하는 것으로 다음과 같은 주요한 요소들을 만족시켜야 합니다. 1) 광범위한 파장대의 태양 빛을 흡수하고, 2) 흡수한 빛 에너지를 통해 산화/환원 반응을 하기에 충분한 힘을 가지는 전하가 (전자-정공쌍) 발생되어, 3) 발생된 전하에서 전자와 정공이 높은 확률로 서로 분리되고, 4) 분리된 전하와 정공이 서로가 다시 재결합되는 현상 없이 각각의 산화/환원 반응 지점으로 안전하게 이동하여, 5) 각각의 반응 지점으로 운반된 전하와 정공이 소비되면서 산화/환원 반응이 일어나게 되어 목표로 하는 화학물질이 생성되어야 합니다.
본 연구는 상기 5가지 요소를 만족시키면서 지표면에 풍부한 광물을 이용하여 오래 사용하기에 안정하고 경제적이며 인제 및 환경에 무해한 인공광합성 반응용 광촉매를 개발 하는 것을 목표로 하였습니다. 지금까지 연구된 여러 가지 광촉매 물질들 중에서도 이산화 티타늄은 (TiO2) 본 연구에 목표로 한 요소들에 부합하는 점이 많으나 반대로 태양에너지 변환 효율이 매우 낮다는 치명적인 단점을 가지고 있습니다. 그 주요한 원인으로 1) 넓은 밴드 갭 크기로 인해 자외선 영역의 태양 빛만을 에너지원으로 사용할 수 있어 전체 태양 스펙트럼의 4% 밖에 활용하지 못하고, 2) 반도체 물질 특성상 빛을 받아 발생된 전자-전공쌍이 안전하게 분리되지 못하고 높은 확률로 재결합되어 최종적인 산화/환원 반응에 활용 되는 수가 현저히 적다는 것입니다. 이러한 이산화 티타늄의 인공광합성용 광촉매로서의 활용에 대한 연구는 1970년대부터 지금까지 전세계적으로 꾸준히 이어져 오고 있으나 아직까지 큰 개선을 이루지 못한 채 아직 연구단계에 머물러 있습니다.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The Contour of the European Cold War - from a 'Post-Cold War' Perspective
No full text유럽 냉전은 냉전기 가장 강력한 군사동맹이었던 NATO와 WTO의 대결체제로 특징지어졌다. 유럽인들은 냉전 형성과 –독일분단을 포함해- 강화 과정에서 적극적인 역할을 수행했다. 미국과 소련의 압박과 규정이 항상 따라 다녔지만, 유럽은 독일분단과 동맹체제 형성과 유지 및 재구축에서 능동적인 이지와 적극적인 실천을 보였다. 그러나 유럽인들의 능동성이 더 적극적으로 발현된 것은 동방정책과 유럽안보협력회의를 통한 데탕트 정치와 아래로부터의 평화운동이었다. 특히 헬싱키-프로세스는 미국과 소련의 지원이나 양해에도 불구하고 무엇보다 유럽 프로젝트였다. N + N 국가들의 평화 가교 역할도 유럽 냉전의 특별한 점이었다. 결국, 유럽 냉전의 발전사는 위기나 공포를 넘어 대안적인 평화구상과 현실적인 평화정치와 구체적인 탈냉전의 성취가 함께 따랐다. 그렇기에 유럽 냉전은 열전과 비교되는 상상의 전쟁으로서의 냉전 양상을 보여 줄 뿐 만 아니라 평화의 발전사를 보여주는 것이기도 하다. 물론, 유럽의 탈냉전이 완성되었다고 보기는 어렵다. 냉전 극복에는 군사적 대결체제의 해체만이 아니라 이질적인 냉전 경험에 대한 더 많은 소통이 필요하다.The European Cold War was characterized by the confrontation between NATO and Warsaw Pact which constituted the strongest systems of a military alliance during the global Cold War. Europe was most definitely in the shadow of the superpowers. But, the Europeans played also a vital role in the formation and consolidation of the Cold War regime in Europe, accompanied by the division of Germany, Despite the controls and influences of USA and Soviet Union, Europeans in the West and East developed an awareness about their own thinking and practices in configuring the Cold War Europe. However, the more evident culmination of the active role of Europe in the Cold War was Willy Brandts pursuit of Ostpolitik and the development of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe which represented a strong desire to overcome the rigidities of the bloc system and a European challenge to the excesses of bipolarity. In addition, the European neutral and non-aligned states took an active part in the multilateral negotiations that led to the developments of the European project for peace. They acted as initiators and mediated as coordinator the necessary compromises between East and West. Besides, the European peace movement of the 1980s helped the peace politics continue and formed the foundation for a peaceful end of the Cold War in Europe. In this, the European Cold War was marked not only by the absence of wars. During the epoche of the Cold War, but the Europeans went on creating alternative peace politics, made post-cold war efforts and accomplished remarkable achievements. The history of the European Cold War can be more positively reinterpreted as the development history of peace which could go beyond the imaginary war. From the perspective of experience, the Cold War in Europe didnt end. To consummate the post-cold war in Europe, one has to learn to communicate rather more on heterogeneous and different life experiences and memories on the Cold War than on the dissolution of the military confrontation system
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
