No full textArtículo de investigación (Maestría en Pedagogía y Desarrollo Humano), Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2023Este estudio fue realizado con el objetivo de comprender la conceptualización de docentes frente al asesoramiento de trabajos de investigación de estudiantes próximos a graduarse del programa de Psicología de la Universidad Católica de Pereira; por medio de un grupo focal, revisión documental y análisis de contenido; concluyendo que el asesoramiento tiene diversas formas de conceptualizarse, de acuerdo con la experiencia del docente, el modelo pedagógico, la relación que tiene con el tema de investigación y la cercanía con el estudiante. Esto es importante para reconocer la experiencia de la relación docente-estudiante en procesos de investigación.This study was conducted to understand how faculty members conceptualize advising research projects for graduating Psychology students at the Catholic University of Pereira. Through focus groups, document review, and content analysis, the study concluded that advising can be conceptualized in various ways, depending on the faculty member's experience, pedagogical model, their relationship to the research topic, and their close relationship with the student. This understanding is important for recognizing the dynamics of the faculty-student relationship in research processes

No full text: figuras, tablasEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los mecanismos de control social desplegados por las instituciones estatales y sociales que regularon el ejercicio de la prostitución en la ciudad de Pereira en los años 1910-1940. La propuesta de investigación se encuentra enmarcada en la aplicación del andamiaje teórico foucaultiano, en el que se consideran categorías de análisis como: modernidad, modernización, control social, discurso,
dispositivos de control, vigilancia, castigo, y poder, aplicadas al contexto de modernización urbana de la primera mitad del siglo XX en Pereira. En esta periodización, la prostitución se concibió no solamente como un problema moral o de orden sanitario o médico, sino que además, se convertiría en una amenaza simbólica al aspecto cívico y moderno promovido por las élites locales de la ciudad. A través del análisis de fuentes primarias (que son inéditas, además) como prensa, correspondencia oficial, acuerdos municipales y archivos médicos, se busca identificar y analizar cómo operaron y qué tan efectivos fueron los dispositivos de
regulación, medicalización y exclusión hacia las mujeres públicas en el contexto de la denominada “ciudad prodigio” y “ciudad sin puertas". La propuesta de estudio también pretende contribuir a la historiografía urbana y social de la ciudad, analizando una dimensión no explorada de su modernización: la segregación y marginalización social de las prostitutas, y sus respuestas ante los dispositivos de poder y de disciplinamiento que se gestaron por las instituciones de la administración local. Finalmente, esta investigación busca aportar una lectura crítica, rigurosa e inclusiva de la historia local, al investigar sectores sociales antes no
abarcados en la academia de la ciudad, empleando las herramientas que la historia social y la historia urbana cultural ofrecen para comprender los debates y los temores sobre sexualidad,
marginalidad y orden social en Pereira, Colombia y en América Latina.The present study aims to examine the mechanisms of social control implemented by state and social institutions to regulate the practice of prostitution in the city of Pereira between 1910 and 1940. The
research is framed within Michel Foucault’s theoretical apparatus, drawing on analytical categories such as modernity, modernization, social control, discourse, dispositifs of control, surveillance, punishment,
and power, applied to the context of urban modernization in Pereira during the first half of the twentieth century.
In this periodization, prostitution was conceived not only as a moral or sanitary-medical problem, but also as a symbolic threat to the civic and modern ideal promoted by the city’s local elites. Through the
analysis of primary sources (which are also unpublished), such as the press, official correspondence, municipal ordinances, and medical records, the study seeks to identify and analyse how the dispositifs of
regulation, medicalization, and exclusion operated, and how effective they were in relation to public women in the context of the so-called “ciudad prodigio” and “ciudad sin puertas.”
The study also aims to contribute to the urban and social historiography of the city by analysing an unexplored dimension of its modernization: the social segregation and marginalization of prostitutes, as
well as their responses to the dispositifs of power and disciplining forged by local administrative institutions. Finally, this research seeks to offer a critical, rigorous, and inclusive reading of local history
by examining social sectors previously neglected by the city’s academic production, drawing on the tools of social history and urban cultural history to illuminate debates and anxieties surrounding sexuality,
marginality, and social order in Pereira, Colombia, and Latin America.Introducción -- 15

No full textSe denomina como Salado de Consotá a una localidad arqueológica donde se
halla un brote natural de agua salada en el municipio de Pereira, con evidencias
de la presencia humana en este sector, al menos hace 10.400 años. Se presentan
los datos principales que justifican su excepcionalidad arqueológica y ambiental
enfatizando sobre la necesidad de su protección, conservación y continuidad en las
investigaciones científicas. Se proyecta el uso social de este patrimonio como parque

No full textCualquier institución pública o privada, debe garantizar unas buenas condiciones ambientales para todos sus actores y su ecosistema cercano a partir de planes administrativos de gestión que consoliden todas las estrategias ambientales como parte de un sistema unificado, donde se visualicen los problemas y potencialidades internos y se creen los programas para mitigarlos, controlarlos, disminuirlos o aprovecharlos. Una institución educativa es una parte fundamental en la formación de una sociedad ambiental, la cual tiene que garantizar desde acciones concretas como sus sistemas de gestión impactan positivamente al ambiente, desarrollando estrategias de gestion de residuos sólidos, de zonas verdes, de recursos naturales e implementar procesos pedagógicos de educación ambiental que consagren estas dimensiones en una sensibilidad cultural y social en toda su comunidad educativa (priorizando en los niños y jóvenes). Teniendo en cuenta lo atenrior, la intitucion educativa Fundacion Gimnasio Pereira, a travez de sus procesos de gesntion integral contemplan la gestion ambiental como uno de sus pilares undamentales, es por ello que el presente trabajo busca la formulacion de un Plan Institucional de Gestion Ambiental (PIGA) para establecer la base al reconocimiento interno y externo como un colegio verde.Any public or private institution must guarantee good environmental conditions for all its actors and its nearby ecosystem based on administrative management plans that consolidate all environmental strategies as part of a unified system, where internal problems and potential are visualized and create programs to mitigate, control, reduce or take advantage of them. An educational institution is a fundamental part in the formation of an environmental society, which has to guarantee from concrete actions such as its management systems positively impact the environment, developing solid waste management strategies, green areas, natural resources and implement Pedagogical processes of environmental education that enshrine these dimensions in a cultural and social sensitivity throughout the educational community (prioritizing children and youth). No full textEl presente trabajo investigativo nace a raíz de una problemática evidenciada en la constante
expansión urbana y la necesidad por hacer habitables los espacios, dificultando la estabilidad
de la estructura y a su vez, generando unas condiciones de exposición a la vulnerabilidad; es
por ello que se pretende formular una estrategia de gestión ambiental que contribuya a la
planificación territorial del sector de Caracol- La Curva para la garantía de la sostenibilidad
ambiental y de una gestión ambiental pensada en el desarrollo territorial, de manera en que
inicialmente se revisen las condiciones de riesgo de desastres para posteriormente realizar un
análisis de los alcances estratégicos y las herramientas de gestión de riesgo de desastres que se
encuentran contenidos en el Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial del municipio de Pereira, con el
fin de ser aplicadas en el sector de estudio dando cumplimiento al objetivo: proponer
mecanismos de articulación de los grupos focales que interactúan en el desarrollo de la
estrategia de gestión ambiental.The present investigative study was born as a result of an issue evidenced in the constant urban
expansion and the need to make spaces habitable, hindering the stability of the structure and in
turn, generating exposure to conditions of vulnerability; for this reason, it is intended to
formulate an environmental management strategy that contributes to the territorial planning of
the "Caracol-La Curva" sector, for the guarantee of environmental sustainability and an
environmental management guided in the territorial development, in such a way that initially
the conditions of disaster risk are reviewed, to later carry out an analysis of the strategic scopes
and the tools of disaster risk management contained in the Territorial Ordering Plan of Pereira
City, with the purpose of being applied in the study sector, giving fulfillment to the objective:
