Flora Tristan: Life Sories by Susan Grogan, investigates the life of Flora Tristan through an exploration of the way she represented herself in her own writings. The author also examines the portrayal of Flora Tristan in paintings and literature. Rather than adopting a chronological approach, the author surveys the personae of Flora Tristan through thematic chapters on her roles as author, socialist, traveller and "Mother of the Workers". She places Flora Tristan in the context of contemporary debates and ideas, adding to our understanding of the times in which Flora Tristan lived. Flora Tristan: Life Stories argues that Flora Tristan's self-representations were attempts to claim a role of authority and significance not open to women in the nineteenth century. Webb y Fumana baetica Güemes en la provincia de Cuenca, dos plantas que constituyen novedad para la flora de dicho territorio. En el caso de F. baetica se amplia considerablemente su área de distribución y se presenta su primera localidad fuera de los territorios béticos.Some data on ecology and chorology of Lythrum portula (L.) D.A. Webb and Fumana baetica Güemes, two taxa new for the flora of Cuenca, are reported. The latter is reported for the first time in a locality quite far from the Betic mountain range, which much enlarges its distribution area

No full textZiziphora aragonensis Pau es el único representante conocido del género en la flora de la Comunidad Valenciana, de donde sólo se ha indicado del noroeste de la provincia de Alicante. En la presente nota se da a conocer una nueva localidad del sur de dicha provincia, que amplía notablemente el área de distribución valenciana de esta planta, y se aportan datos sobre su morfología y comportamiento ecológico, bioclimático y fitosociológico.Ziziphora aragonensis Pau is the unique representative of the genus in the flora of the Valencian Community, from where it was known only from northwestern Alicante province. A new locality is here reported which enlarges considerably its Alicantine distribution towards the south. Data on morphology, ecology, bioclimatology and phytosociology are also presented
