We prospectively assessed quantitative cerebrovascular reserve by using acetazolamide (ACZ)-challenged CT perfusion for evaluating hemodynamic impairment in ischemic adult Moyamoya disease and compared it with angiographic findings. Sixteen adult patients with ischemic Moyamoya disease and 12 age-matched normal control subjects underwent both ACZ-challenged CT perfusion and digital subtraction angiography. Normalized baseline hemodynamic parameters and their percent changes (PCs) were calculated in 56 hemispheres. We classified the degrees of distal carotid artery stenosis according to modified Suzuki stage and determined the presence of basal Moyamoya vessels (BMVs). The values of normalized parameters and their PCs were compared with angiographic findings. Normalized baseline mean transit time (MTT) and PC of normalized cerebral blood flow (CBF) were significantly correlated with angiographic stages in all of the vascular territories; however, the correlation coefficient of the normalized baseline MTT was lower than that of the PC of CBF. In the external borderzone and the middle cerebral arterial territory, the hemispheres with extensive BMVs exhibited significantly lower PC values of CBF and significantly higher normalized baseline MTT values than those in hemispheres with diminished BMVs and in normal control subjects. Among the hemodynamic parameters measured by ACZ-challenged CT perfusion, the PC of CBF correlated highly significantly with angiographic stage; however, the normalized baseline CT perfusion parameters showed weak or no significant correlation

Janusius annulatus (Kang & Lee, 2005) comb. nov. Sminthurus annulatus Kang & Lee, 2005 in: Kang et al. 2005, p: 238. Sminthurus annulatus Kang & Lee, 2005 described from South Korea shows the distingushing characters of Janusius: has strong seta-like anal appendage and spatulate tibiotarsal chaetae. This species is considered here as member of the genus Janusius Bretfeld, 2010Published as part of Dányi, László & Park, Kyung-Hwa, 2016, A new species of Janusius Bretfeld, 2010 (Collembola, Sminthuridae) from the Korean Peninsula, with a key to the species of the genus, pp. 574-580 in Zootaxa 4154 (5) on page 575, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4154.5.6, http://zenodo.org/record/26196

This qualitative descriptive study aims to identify and analyze functions according to Jakobson's theory and features of female language according to Lakoff's theory used by Kang Kyung Hwa in the public lecture "Hanbando Jongsewa Gellobol Wegyo (한반도 외교)". The data collection technique uses the note-taking technique and the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The results of this study found referential functions being the most language functions because Kang gave a lot of information about the current state of Korean diplomacy. The poetic function was not found because Kang focused on providing information, instead of focusing on the language features used. Then 9 out of 10 women's language features were found with lexical hedges or fillers being the most found because Kang avoided making mistakes when making statements, the precise color terms feature was not found in this study because it was not related to the topic of conversation. Referential functions and features of lexical hedges or fillers are the most common functions and features found in this study where the relationship between the two functions and features is when Kang Kyung Hwa uses referential functions when providing information, Kang is being careful with using the lexical hedges feature or fillers which indicate that Kang is aware of her position as a leader where the words she speaks will have an effect so she must be careful when speaking and to avoid mistakes when speaking
