The online survey method is used in this study. The primary data are collected through structured questionnaires utilizing a five-point Likert scale, while the secondary data is gathered from various sources, including textbooks, previous research papers, internet sources, and other information from Onodera User Run Myanmar Co., Ltd. This study employs descriptive statistics and regression analysis to analyze the data. The results indicate that there is the mediating effect of job crafting on the relationship between protean career attitude and career satisfaction, as well as on the relationship between protean career attitude and career commitment. Career satisfaction and career commitment have positive significant effect on psychological well-being. Furthermore, psychological well-being has positive significant effect on job efficacy. The findings indicate that Onodera User Run Myanmar Co., Ltd. should enhance and continuously cultivate a more effective protean career attitude, as well as support job crafting to enhance both career satisfaction and commitment. Additionally, according to the findings, international employees enhance their psychological well-being and job efficacy in Japan's work industr

A Functional Resonance Analysis Method to risk analysis of functional flood defenses in Yangon

    No full text
Multifunctional use of flood defences is seen as a promising solution for improving the synergy between flood protection and urban development combining the functions can, however, create unintended dependencies, which can influence the desired performance of the system in unexpected ways. Recognizing the risks associated with these dependencies early during the conceptual design phase can help to improve the system capability to mitigate the resulting threats and to take advantage of the opportunities created. The proposed systems use the Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) for qualitative risk analysis of multifunctional flood defences. The analysis results are used to identify the threats and opportunities that need attention during the design of a multifunctional flood defence and to propose recommendations for how to address them

Functional Resonance Analysis Method on Road Accidents in Myanmar

In Myanmar, there are increasing numbers of road accidents in recent year. Because of road accident, 3480 people died in Myanmar in 2016 and approximately 10 people die from road accidents every day, according to Myanmar Organization Road Safety. Reasons for the accidents may include motorcyclists who are not wearing helmets, poor quality of road, driver behavior, mechanical failure of vehicles, violation of traffic rule, and bad weather. Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) is an accident analysis method providing a new concept for people to analyze accidents. FRAM can be applied by identifying functions with the detailed variability of functions, interpreting possible couplings of the variability and providing suggestions to manage the unexpected variability. This paper intends to propose basic FRAM model that analyzes the road accident. So it can provide a better understanding of accidents resulting from road accident. Based on this model, a case study was selected and the performance variability of function betweentwo functions by using FRAM model
