Therefore, their living standard is mediocre. The majority of household’s people in Gwa Township were casual workers. The study found that goods sectors is the main contributor of total product. Among the good sector, agriculture sector and fishery sector play the major role. In social sector education and health are helping the improvement of the quality of human resources. Telecommunication has dramatically been increased after the access of cheap phone sim-card. Growing Rhythm
The ethnographic film Growing Rhythm depicts the Burmese master
percussionist, Kyaw Kyaw Naing, leading students, faculty, and community members of
SUNY New Paltz in the first Hsaing ensemble in the United States. This ensemble
provided an environment in which to learn the musical traditions of another culture while
examining and challenging the norms which Western musicians have accepted. The
students of Naing learned the music using the traditional instruments of the Hsaing
ensemble: chauk lon bat, kyi-waing, maung-hsaing, si do, hne, sandaya, pat-waing, si
and wa, and lin quin. The rehearsal technique and experience developed into a
community with a shared mission to spread this music and educate the public

Thermal degradation properties of nylon-6/ clay nanocomposites
Polymers are widely applied as substitutes for metal, wood, stone, glass, paper and a variety of macromolecular substances. Composites offer improved properties, including higher strength and stiffness, compared to polymers. Recently, the development of polymer composites on nanometer scale has been carried out. Compared to the conventional polymers, polymer nanocomposites possess superior properties. Nylon-6 is an important engineering polymer material with low cost and high performance. It is mostly used in fibers, films and engineering thermoplastic material, where the properties of thermal stability and fire resistance are of paramount importance. To enhance the properties of thermal stability and fire resistance of nylon-6, the nylon-6/ clay nanocomposites have been widely studied in academic, government and industrial laboratories.
The purpose of this work is to study the thermal degradation behavior and kinetics of nylon-6 / clay nancomposites under various conditions. The effects of the clay filler and heating rate on the thermal degradation of nylon-6 were studied and compared.Master of Science (Mechanics & Processing of Materials

A comparative study of drug addicts and Non-Drug addicts on Seif-Esteem, Self-Efficacy, and Stress-Resistant Personality
This paper is a report concerned with a comparative study of drug addicts and non-drug addicts on self-efficacy, self-esteem, and stress-resistant personality. A group of 46 drug addicts were recruited through Mandalay Drug Treatment Hospital and Care Myanmar Group to participate in a questionnaire study. 100 community members who live in Mandalay were also recruited as a control group of non-drug addicts to participate in a questionnaire study. Participants of both groups were asked to complete Mandalay general self-efficacy scale, self-esteem scale, and stress-resistant personality inventory. The mean differences of responses on each scale between drug addicts group and non-drug addicts group were examined by using t test. There were no differences between drug addicts and non-drug addicts on general self-efficacy and hardiness. However, the results of the present study showed that drug addicts were lower in self-esteem and optimism and more cynical than non-drug addicts
Relationships among Psychological hardiness, coping strategies and perceived stress of Mid-Level Managers
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among psychological hardiness, coping strategies, and perceived stress of mid-level managers. Further, this study attempted to develop Myanmar version of the Dispositional Resilience Scale, the Ways of Coping Questionnaire and the Perceived Stress Scale. Participants were 200 mid-level managers of 30 private sectors from Mandalay, Naypyidaw and Lashio. Pearson correlation coefficient, independent sample “t” test, and multiple regression analyses were used for data analyses. Results of the correlation and “t” test analyses showed that high hardiness (total), commitment, control, and challenge demonstrated significantly associations with lower perceived stress among mid-level managers. Planful problem-solving was significantly influenced by high levels of hardiness and escape-avoidance and distancing were significantly associated with low levels of hardiness. Seeking social support, planful problem-solving and positive reappraisal had a significant negative correlation with perceived stress. Escape-avoidance was significantly positively correlated with perceived stress. As expected, the stepwise method of multiple regression analyses revealed that hardiness (total), escape-avoidance, and positive reappraisal were a significant predictor of perceived stress. However, one of the results differed from our expectations; hardiness (challenge) was significantly positively associated with perceived stress
