Abdurrahman, M.Kes., (2) Karimuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd.Kata kunci: kecepatan reaksi, keseimbangan, keterampilan Tae Kwon DoTae Kwon Do merupakan seni beladiri yang berasal dari Korea, seni beladiri Tae Kwon Do lebih mengutamakan kaki daripada tangan pada saat melakukan penyerangan, pada dasarnya beladiri Tae Kwon Do hampir sama dengan beladiri lainnya semua anggota badan dapat digunakan, akan tetapi beladiri Tae Kwon Do lebih dominan dalam penggunaan kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kecepatan reaksi dan keseimbangan dengan keterampilan Tae Kwon Do pada atlet Tae Kwon Do PPLD Provinsi Aceh Tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik analisis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Tae Kwon Do PPLD Provinsi Aceh yang berjumlah 13 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) tes kecepatan reaksi (whole body reaction) (2) tes keseimbangan (bass test) (3) tes keterampilan Tae Kwon Do. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus analisis korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data,temuan penelitian ini dapat di kemukakan sebagai berikut: terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecepatan reaksi dan keseimbangan dengan keterampilan Tae Kwon Do (F=16,52), kecepatan reaksi memberi kontribusi sebesar 42,25%, dan keseimbangan 77,44% dengan keterampilan Tae Kwon Do.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat sumbangan yang signifikan dari kecepatan reaksi (X1) dan keseimbangan (X2) dengan keterampilan Tae Kwon Do (Y) pada atlet Tae Kwon Do PPLD Provinsi Aceh Tahun 2017. Selain itu juga didukung oleh teknik yang dikuasai oleh atlet, semakin baik teknik yang dikuasai atlet maka hasil yang diperoleh akan semakin optimal

    This study was based on the experience of researchers who had been Tae Kwon Do athletes. After researchers began wearing hijab, the researchers decided to stop exercising Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do as they failed to adapt to wear a hijab while doing Tae Kwon Do activities. So the research decided to research more deeply about athletes Tae Kwon Do women with hijab which are able to adapt and maintain the hijab during Tae Kwon Do activity. The purpose of the study was to explain communication between female athletes adaptation in hijab during the Tae Kwon Do martial arts sport. The method used is qualitative. Using the Purposive Sampling technique, the subjects of this study were five hijabi athletes in Pekanbaru. The study results revealed hijab strategies used by female athletes when doing Tae Kwon Do activities. Some athletes still open the lid of their hijab; there is a difference when before and after wearing the hijab during the Tae Kwon Do and get negative responses and nicknames given to athletes from people around them

    Title: History and develompment of Tae Kwon Do. Objectives: This work investigated the origins and develompment of Tae Kwon Do. The federations are International Taekwon-do Federation and World Taekwondo Federation. Methods: For preparation of this work I have used as a method of gathering knowledge about these two federations of Czech and foreign literature. Results: It was found that original Tae Kwon Do was founded in 1955 in Korea. The International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF) was established in 1966 and in 1973 was established the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). In this work it was found that apart form the name and the country are two different martial arts. ITF is a tradition martial art of self-defense, founded by General Choi Hong Hi.     The following research was completed in an attempt to document the existence of any correlation between youth participation in Tae Kwon Do and various psychological and social traits evident within the participants. The data of this dissertation was gathered and recorded within the format of the qualitative case study. At the end of the case study the researcher was able to document evidence that individuals who participate in Tae Kwon Do demonstrate positive psychological and social traits. It is the researcher’s hope that further studies will be undertaken to enhance the aggregate data base regarding participation in martial sports such as Tae Kwon Do and positive psychological and social development
