Thrive Through Challenge, 2. Sport Awareness, 3. Tough Attitude, dan 4. Desire Success. Skala self awareness dengan 3 dimensi yaitu; 1. Mampu mengenali emosi diri dan pengaruhnya. 2 Mengetahui kemampuan dan keterbatasan diri. 3. Kepercayaan diri. The aim of this research is to know the correlation between Tarung Derajat member’s Kurata Level with Mental Toughness and Self Awareness. There are factors which is related with the Level of Kurata that have to be accomplished by the members, those are: time spent by members to attend training classes, training matter difficulty, an increase of exercise portion, an increase of mental burdens which is faced. Based on those factors related to Kurata levels, besides the profile of Tarung Derajat as a full body contact and tough sport, it means that the existence of psychological aspect has a huge role to face obstacles in each levels of Kurata especially mental toughness and self awareness aspect. Method that was used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive Method, with double paradigm research design. Researcher took 50 students of Tarung Derajat Cirateun district as a sample. Variable that was used in this research is a mental toughness scale with 4 dimensions, those are; 1. Thrive Through Challenge, 2. Sport Awareness, 3. Tough Attitude, and 4. Desire Success. That scale of self awareness with three main characteristics; 1. Able to recognize self emotion and its effect; 2. Able to know self ability and limitation; 3. Self confidence. Based on the results, research’s findings show that there were significant correlation between mental toughness and self awareness toward Kurata level. The students with higher Kurata level had higher mental toughness and self awareness, vice versa
A remark on a theorem of Y. Kurata
In [K] Y. Kurata proved that the Goldie torsion theory splits centrally for dual rings. Here we extend his result to semilocal rings with left essential socle such that Soc(RR)2 Soc(RR). An example will demonstrate that our observation extends Kuratas result. (c) 2001 by the University of Notre Dame. All rights reserved
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Xenograpsus TAKEDA & KURATA 1977
XENOGRAPSUS TAKEDA & KURATA, 1977
Remarks: Although referred to occasionally as ‘hydrothermal vent crabs’, crabs of the genus Xenograpsus are clearly related to and derived from nearby grapsoid shore crabs and are thus quite different from the ‘true’ vent crabs of the family Bythograeidae. To our knowledge they are restricted to the shallow volcanic vent habitat and are thus endemic (rather than vagrant) species. To date these two species are the only known obligate shallow-water hydrothermal vent crabs (Jeng, Clark & Ng, 2004a; Jeng, Ng & Ng, 2004b). Larvae have been described for one species (see below). The two described species are known from Japan and Taiwan (below), although a crab of this genus also has been observed (though apparently not yet reported) from off New Zealand (P. Ng, pers. comm.).
Published as part of Martin, Joel W. & Haney, Todd A., 2005, Decapod crustaceans from hydrothermal vents and cold seeps: a review through 2005, pp. 445-522 in Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society 145 (4) on page 498, DOI: 10.1111/j.1096-3642.2005.00178.x, http://zenodo.org/record/5434828
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
