A Study of Marketing Service Quality and Satisfaction Based on "Kuo Hua Life Insurance Co,Ltd"

This survey is done, based on the medium-large sized insurance company, Kuo-Hwa Life Insurance Company. It is focused on the interactions of its marketing, service quality, insurer\ue2s expected service, perceived service, perceived service quality, customer satisfaction, loyalty, persistency, repurchase and recommendation, in order for the company to evaluate and establish guidelines of the marketing st-rategy.
Those who were questionnaired are the insurers over 18-years-old in the metropolitan areas of Tainan. The personnel of Customer Service within the company have distributed 800 questionnaires. Among these, 586 questionnaires were returned with 20 of them void, making it 566 valid. EXCEL, SPSS statistics software were applied to analyze the insured age, marital status, education, annual income and occupation, to better understand tleir perceived service quality, satisfaction, loyalty, persistency and the intention of repurchase of other products from Kuo-Hwa Life Insurance.

Constructing Sobol' sequences with better two-dimensional projections
No full textDirection numbers for generating Sobol' sequences that satisfy the so-called Property A in up to 1111 dimensions have previously been given in Joe and Kuo [ACM Trans. Math. Software, 29 (2003), pp. 49–57]. However, these Sobol' sequences may have poor two-dimensional projections. Here we provide a new set of direction numbers alleviating this problem. These are obtained by treating Sobol' sequences in d dimensions as (t, d)-sequences and then optimizing the t-values of the two-dimensional projections. Our target dimension is 21201

Chiang Ching-Kuo (1910-1988): una vida interesante en el corto siglo XX chino
No full textChiang Ching-kuo (1910-1988) is an essential figure to understand the contemporary Chinese world. This article examines the most important chapters of his life, from his experience in the Soviet Union until his presidency in Taiwan during the 1970s and 1980s. Chiang Ching-kuo’s vital trajectory allows us to study the complexities behind the particular Chinese modernization project that materialised in the island as a result of the combination of both exogenous and endogenous elements and a degree of contingency that was not expected by the political elite of the Kuomintang. This work seeks to contribute to the development of the Chinese and Taiwanese studies in Spanish. It advances the concept of “Chinese short century” and opens up new avenues for future research that seek to cast into doubt the dominant discourse around the “Taiwanese miracle”.Chiang Ching-kuo (1910-1988) es una figura imprescindible en la comprensión del Mundo Chino contemporáneo. El presente artículo propone una aproximación a través de los capítulos más importantes de su vida, desde su experiencia en la Unión Soviética hasta su presidencia de Taiwán durante la década de los años setenta y ochenta. La trayectoria vital de Chiang Ching-kuo permite asomarse al complejo nudo de relaciones existentes detrás del especifico proyecto modernizador chino que se cristalizó en la isla debido a una combinación de elementos exógenos y endógenos con un grado de contingencia no prevista por la élite política del Kuomintang. Este trabajo, que busca contribuir al desarrollo de los estudios chinos y taiwaneses en español, propone el concepto de “un corto siglo chino” y sugiere nuevas líneas de investigación conducentes a cuestionar el discurso dominante sobre el “milagro taiwanés”
