    Mutholayiram Expressions of Romantic Feelings

Mutholayiram is one of the best literatures in the history of Tamil literature. There is not much talks and writing about this literature which should be greatly appreciated in literary historical books, one hundred and eight songs can be found in Mutholayiram by R. Iragavaiyayangar by Madurai Tamil Society's Senthamil publication. Professor N. Sethu Raghunathan has written the textual commentary in the Kazhagam edition of the book containing one hundred and thirty hymns. The Chera, Chola, and Pandya kings of this century have divided and built the land into three parts. The author of these hymns are not revealed

799-804The perception of urban and rural environments is multi-dimensional, shaped by the individual preferences of observers, residents, and visitors. Landmarks play a crucial role in the image of a city or rural area, aiding orientation and creating memorable experiences. It enhances navigability, fosters a sense of attachment, and contributes to place identity. Monuments and heritage structures significantly influence the visual ambiance of these environments. The visibility of heritage structures depends on factors such as height, surrounding buildings, skyline, and location. Using Sketch-up software, this paper assesses the visibility of the Rajagopuram in Thiruvasi village, Tamil Nadu. The study evaluates Rajagopuram’s visibility from various distances, concluding that it is a prominent landmark that enhances visual recognition and fosters a strong sense of attachment and place identity. The study underscores the importance of preserving heritage buildings to maintain historical and cultural significance amidst modern changes

Protective effect of Adhatoda vascia Nees against radiation-induced damage at cellular, biochemical and chromosomal levels in Swiss albino mice,” Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine

Extract of Adhatoda vasica (L) Nees leaves has been used for treatment of various diseases and disorders in Ayurved and Unani medicine. Modulatory effect of ethanolic extract of A. vasica (L) Nees against radiation-induced changes in terms of histological alterations in testis, reduced glutathione (GSH), lipid peroxidation (LPO), acid and alkaline phosphatases levels, and chromosomal alterations in Swiss albino mice was studied at various post-irradiation intervals between 1 and 30 days. Mice exposed to 8 Gy radiation showed radiation-induced sickness including marked changes in histology of testis and chromosomal aberrations in bone marrow cells with 100% mortality within 22 days. When ethanolic leaf extract of A. vasica was given orally at a dose of 800 mg kg À1 body weight per mouse for 15 consecutive days and then exposed to radiation, death of Adhatoda-pretreated irradiated mice was reduced to 70% at 30 days. The radiation dose reduction factor was 1.43. There was significantly lesser degree of damage to testis tissue architecture and various cell populations including spermatogonia, spermatids and Leydig cells. Correspondingly, a significant decrease in the LPO and an increase in the GSH levels were observed in testis and liver of Adhatoda-pretreated irradiated mice. Similarly, a significant decrease in level of acid phosphatase and increase in level of alkaline phosphatase were observed. Adhatoda pretreatment significantly prevented radiation-induced chromosomal damage in bone marrow cells. The study suggests that Adhatoda plant extract has significant radioprotective effects on testis that warrants further mechanistic studies aimed at identifying the role of major ingredients in the extract

Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles from Sargassum Tenerrimum and Screening Phytochemicals for Its Antibacterial Activity

Synthesis of nanomaterials by biological approach is innovative, cheaper and environmental friendly and requires less-labor. In this regard, the present study focused on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles from the extract of Sargassum tenerrimum. Synthesized silver nanoparticles were well-characterized by UV-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fourier-Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Transmission Electron Microscopy analysis (TEM) and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). It was found that spherical shaped nanoparticles of size 20 nm were found in TEM analysis and showed effective anti-bacterial activity against standard reference strains. Altogether, extracts from seaweed were screened for phytochemicals followed by FT-IR prediction to reveal chemical functional groups present. The results showed that the anti-bacterial activity of silver nanoparticles was comparably higher than the phytochemicals present. Therefore, the present study elucidates silver nanoparticles can play a vital role in nano-based therapy in future

Complexity Analysis in the PR, QT, RR and ST Segments of ECG for Early Assessment of Severity in Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy

Early-stage detection of cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) is important for better management of the disease and prevents hospitalization. This study has investigated the complex nature of PR, QT, RR, and ST time segments of ECG signals by computing the fractal dimension (FD) of all segments from 20 min ECG recordings of people with different severity of the disease and healthy individuals. The mean computed for each ECG time segment to distinguish between subjects was insufficient for an early diagnosis. Statistical analysis shows that the change of FD in various time segments of ECG throughout the recording was most suitable to assess the steps for severity in symptoms of CAN between the healthy and the subjects with early symptoms of CAN. The complexity of ECG features was evaluated using various classifier models, namely, support vector machine (SVM), naïve Bayes, random forest, K-nearest neighbor (KNN), AdaBoost, and neural networks. Performance measures were computed on all models, with a maximum neural network classifier having an accuracy of 96.9%. Feature ranking results show that fractal features have more significance than the time segments of ECG in differentiating the subjects. The results of statistical validation show that all the selected features based on ECG physiology proved to have an evident complexity change between normal and severity stages of CAN. Thus, this work reports the complexity analysis in all the selected time segments of ECG that can be an effective tool for early diagnostics for CAN
