ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the obesity of older school age children and their dependence on eating and exercising habits. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge regarding overweight and obesity, disease diagnosis, epidemiological trends and complications related to obesity. Emphasis is put on the evaluation of reasons to why this problem occurs, such as disease prevention, dietary and exercise recommendations, its therapy and inclusion of the issue with the secondary school curriculum. The practical part contains research focused on the nutritional status, eating and exercise habits of pupils in secondary school. The survey results are designed for use in pedagogical practice. No full textEconomic Value Added (EVA is one approach to measuring the financial performance of a company by focusing on the creation of value-added enterprises. EVA shows how big the resulting rate of return on the investment made by shareholders. In this paper, the object used by the author is wrong a company engaged in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange. data used is the consolidated financial statements of the company in 2011-2012. purpose of this paper is to measure the financial performance of the EVA approach to food and beverage companies 2011-2012. Results analysis of the EVA calculation shows that by using the EVA approach, the financial performance of food and beverage companies can experience a volatile period 2011-2012. In 2011 the company's financial performance has improved food and beverage d in the presence of EVA is positive that the company has succeeded in achieving its goal create value-added enterprises. But in 2012 the company's food and beverage show poor financial performance since EVA generated negative worth. No full textΤο θέμα της εργασίας αφορά την μελέτη και την καταγραφή σχεδιασμού των συσκευών στα παραδοσιακά Κυπριακά σπίτια και το νοικοκυριό τους.Επίσης, στοχεύει στο σχεδιασμό νέων προϊόντων που θα προκύψουν μετά από τη μελέτη αυτή.Η έρευνα και η καταγραφή επικεντρώθηκε σε διάφορα χωριά της Κύπρου με σκοπό τον εντοπισμό όσο το δυνατό περισσότερων αντικειμένων.Σκοπός, η καταγραφή όλων των σημαντικών πληροφοριών που αφορούν τα αντικείμενα αυτά, όπως ο τρόπος χρήσης τους και οι διαφορετικές τους μορφές. Αντικείμενα που μου κίνησαν το ενδιαφέρον και εξυπηρετούσαν δουλειές που πραγματοποιούνται και σήμερα.Τα φωτογραφικά ντοκουμέντα και οι συνεντεύξεις από τους ανθρώπους που έζησαν και χρησιμοποίησαν τα αντικείμενα αυτά, βοήθησαν στη καταγραφή και στην υλοποίηση της εργασίας μου.Παράλληλα κατέληξα να επιλέξω και την δικιά μου κατασκευή.Μέσα από την έρευνα που έκανα όλο αυτό το διάστημα, κατέληξα στο τελικό μου σχέδιο το οποίο έγινε από υλικά της επιλογής μου.Με την βοήθεια ειδικών κατασκεύασα ένα αποστακτήρα που θα φέρει στην μνήμη μας τον παλιό τρόπο απόσταξης.Ο αποστακτήρας αυτός θα μπορεί να προσαρμοστεί στην σύγχρονη κουζίνα της σημερινής κοινωνίας και ο κάθε ένας από εμάς θα έχει τη δυνατότητα από το σπίτι να αποστάξει ζιβανία, λεβάντα, ανθόνερο και ροδόσταγμα.Complete

No full textΟι σύγχρονες κατασκευαστικές τεχνολογίες που συχνά αναφέρονται σε νέες αυτοματοποιημένες μεθόδους, εργαλειομηχανές, κάνουν την εμφάνισή τους και στο δικό μας χώρο όσον αφορά την εμπορική και μη εμπορική κατασκευαστική βιομηχανία στην Κύπρο. Καθημερινά, όλο και πιο τεχνολογικά ανεπτυγμένες κατασκευαστικές τεχνολογίες, εργαλειομηχανές εισέρχονται στην αγορά για χρήση τους από βιομηχανίες και ιδιώτες σχεδιαστές/designers. Μέσα από μια έρευνα αγοράς που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο χώρο, τα πιο συχνά μέσα αναφοράς σε αυτόν τον τομέα, όσον αφορά τις νέες κατασκευαστικές τεχνολογίες και αυτά που καλείται να καλύψει η έρευνα αυτή, είναι το LASER Cutting και το CNC milling. Βασικός σκοπός της έρευνας είναι να διερευνηθεί η χρήση και εφαρμογή των νέων αυτών τεχνολογιών ( CNC milling & Laser Cutting ) στην Κυπριακή κοινότητα/αγορά αλλά και οι διάφορες δυνατότητες και λύσεις σε προβλήματα που μπορεί να παρέχουν. Μελέτη επίπλωσης της παραδοσιακής κυπριακής κατοικίας
No full textΗ πτυχιακή μου εργασία έχει σαν θέμα την επίπλωση της κυπριακής παραδοσιακής κατοικίας. Εστιάζοντας στους 19ο και 20ό αι. μέσα από τη βιβλιογραφία, στις επισκέψεις σε λαογραφικά και εθνογραφικά μουσεία της Κύπρου καθώς και στις επισκέψεις σε χωριά με αναπαλαιωμένα/διατηρητέα σπίτια τα οποία διαθέτουν δικά τους έπιπλα, μαζεύτηκε φωτογραφικό υλικό και πραγματοποιήθηκε ένας σεβαστός αριθμός συνεντεύξεων. Έτσι, μελέτησα την επίπτωση της Κυπριακής παραδοσιακής κατοικίας και διάλεξα το έπιπλο της καρέκλας για μελέτη εις βάθος.
Αφού μελετήθηκε η κυπριακή παραδοσιακή καρέκλα, ακολούθησε ο σχεδιασμός καινούριου επίπλου, αφού προηγήθηκε έρευνα στη σύγχρονη επιπλοποιία, αλλά και σχεδιαστική αναζήτηση αισθητικών και πρακτικών λύσεων όσον αφορά τη χρηστικότητα του έργου. Αυτό το έπιπλο θα είναι ένα πάντρεμα της παράδοσης με το σύγχρονο.
Ακολούθως, άρχισε η κατασκευή του έργου, μετά από πειραματισμό, εύρεση και επιλογή των σωστών υλικών για την κατασκευή του καινούριου επίπλου αλλά και την επιλογή σωστών συνεργατών, για την καλύτερη δυνατή συνεργασία και υλοποίηση του έργου. Με αυτό το έπιπλο προσπάθησα να εντάξω ξανά την παράδοση στο σύγχρονο κυπριακό σπίτι.Complete
