This study aims to interpret socialist realism in the play Ben Go Tun by Saini KM based on sociological literature supported by a structural approach to the drama script consisting of elements of character, plot, setting, and dialogue. Ben Go Tun's drama script is a literary work that shows an effort to free oneself from falsehood and awareness of the hegemony of power. This research was conducted from November 2019 to July 2021. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The researcher uses the structural theory of Soediro Satoto's drama which includes characters, plot, setting, and dialogue. Then, this research uses Georg Lukacs socialist realism approach which is based on five aspects, namely objective reality, dialectical movement, historical materialism, artistic reflection, and emancipatory critical expression. The meaning of socialist realism is conveyed through the first, the political views of the figures who highlight the state of the economy and power. Second, the assessment of the social groups of the artists who highlight the aesthetic feeling. The third is the social class gap of the minor characters who highlight the form of life, and the fourth, the form of rebellion against the historical events experienced by the author in expressing awareness for future life

AbstractThe recent exponential growth in the use of image processing software applications has been accompanied by a parallel increase in their use in criminal activities. Image processing tools have been associated with a variety of crimes, including counterfeiting of currency notes, cheques, as well as manipulation of important government documents, wills, financial deeds or educational certificates. Thus, it is important for the Document Examiner to keep up to date with latest technological and scientific advances in the field. The present research focuses on the use of image processing tools for the examination of computer-manipulated documents. The altered documents were examined using a suite of currently available image processing tools. The results demonstrate that a number of tools are capable of detecting computer-based manipulations of written documents

Forensic Examination of Class Characteristics in English Handwriting of the Three States: Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Kashmir in India

The present study analyzed the English handwriting of subjects from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir to investigate whether the examination of style characteristics helps determine the nationality/ethnicity of the writer or the place where the writer learned writing. The subjects had completed secondary education in their respective regional languages along with English as a second language. Characteristic features such as letter formations, punctuation marks, spacing between letters, and margins were observed. The data were analysed using the chi- square test to determine significant class characteristics in the English handwritings. Significant class characteristics were identified; these occurrences were attributable to the influence of habitually writing in their native language, because the impact of regional language on the subjects’ English handwriting was observed in a few samples. Forensic document examiners will be able to determine class characteristic in the English handwritings of people from different states using the established procedure and possibly also determine the nationality or ethnic origin of writers

Differentiation of Red and Black Ballpoint Pen Inks using High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

The questioned document examiners usually encounter cases related to handwritten documents for the determination of their source, origin, and authenticity. The legal documents usually involve handwriting or signatures executed using ballpoint pens. These components of the ballpoint pen inks can be analysed, both qualitatively and quantitatively, using several techniques. The present study aimed to analyse the red and black ballpoint pen inks using high performance thin layer chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques. All samples have been completely differentiated using high performance thin layer chromatography. The discrimination potential of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for red and black ballpoint pen inks was found to be 32.85% and 63.58% respectively. Classification of inks has been performed in two levels, that is, primary differentiation on the grounds of major components of the ink and subsequent differentiation on the basis of minor components. The validity of technique was tested in terms of repeatability and reproducibility. Reproducibility has been determined by repeating the procedure of repeatability on different days. The results have been evaluated in terms of relative standard deviation (RSD), which is <2% for both repeatability and reproducibility

Critical Analysis of Numerous Attacks Irreverent Security in Remote Sensor Networks

Remote Sensor Networks have risen as innovation of the current century and has givenan intense blend of dispersed detecting, figuring and correspondence of attacks. With its developing application regions, especially in mission-basic applications, for example, military observing frameworks and war zone observation, security has turned into a critical need keeping in mind the end goal to ensure the touchy information included. The need of viable and effective security systems is necessary and to secure sensor systems has pulled in a lot of scientists' consideration making it hot research zone in the current years. Among the quantity of assaults on the sensor arrange, the Selective Forwarding attack, assumed name as grayhole attack, is a genuine and difficult to-distinguish security assault that can render the system ineffective if the attack was left undetected. In this attack, the principal objective of the attacker is to keep the critical delicate information from achieving the base station. To accomplish this objective, the harmful hub specifically drops certain nodes, in view of some picked criteria, and advances the remaining. The assault turns out to be more viable when the attacker incorporates itself on the way of the information flow. This paper aims to give an outline and investigation of existing ways to deal with counter particular sending assault in remote sensor systems.</jats:p
