The Dynamic Transformations On The Labour Market In Bulgaria In Conditions Of Digital Technologies And Pandemic
This article discusses the main transformations which have occurred in the labour market due to the accelerated processes of digitalization throughout the last two years. In their essence, those changes are caused by the fourth industrial revolution and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The research places the emphasis on the necessity of developing “hybrid” forms of employment based on flexibility and security. Special attention is paid to the necessity of investing human capital in an environment of digital technologies and intensive entering of artificial intellect in labour processes
THE HUMAN CAPITAL AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE FOR OUR PRESENT
The article describes basic economic theories examined through the prism of human capital and its development over the years.The significant role of the human factor for the modern world has been underlined. The educational level of labour markets is analysed through the used data from Eurostat. Major negative trends have been identified, related to the development of human capital in the educational, social and economic sectors. Measures and recommendations have been outlined to improve the knowledge and skills of the active labour force and its positive integration into the labour markets

This deliverable describes the experimental approach of the TeRRItoria project and will serve to record the extent to which Territorial RRI can generate institutional change(s) by applying an RRI approach to territorial based strategies. Indeed, the objective of this deliverable is to describe the founding conditions of the experiments in each territory, the activities carried out during the experiment, the institutional changes and lessons learned by territorial partners and the sustainability and exploitation plan foreseen. Machine learning methods applicable in customer lifecycle management
In the current business environment, globalization and digitalization are the main distinguishing features of the world economy. Machine learning, as a field of artificial intelligence, has gained wide popularity as a technology used in the process of extracting knowledge about customers at different stages of their life cycle.The purpose of this research paper is to explore the types of machine learning and their applications in the study of dependencies related to changing the behavior of customers in the telecommunication services market, as well as the justification of an appropriate type of machine learning method applicable to these studies. The focus of the study is aimed at the application of supervised machine learning methods, at different stages of the customer lifecycle, to solve problems that can be categorized as classification. The study shows the advantage of boosting and bagging ensemble classifiers in terms of correct classification of specimens and model accuracy. Recommendations for future research are also defined

MANAGEMENT OF GRADUATE STUDENT’S THESIS WRITING THROUGH A SPECIALIZED SOFTWARE SYSTEM
The inclusion of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) in the Bulgarian academic institutions has augmented students’ learning experience. The paper presents a software system for managing and supporting the interaction between graduate students and their supervisors in the course of theses writing. The system allows to plan, manage and track the progress of students’ theses/graduation projects. The author makes a comprehensive critical examination of the specialized software systems’ impact on the process of teaching and learning. Further studies and practical implications are also discussed
Normal Reference Ranges of Optical Coherence Tomography Parameters in Children
Aim: To measure the macular thickness, macular volume and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) in healthy Caucasian children using spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SDOCT) and analyze the correlation of these values with age, refraction, and biometric measurements.Materials and methods: In this cross-sectional study, we recruited 270 healthy children (150 female and 120 male) aged 6 to 17 years with no ocular abnormalities. All children underwent a detailed eye examination. The measurements were obtained using a SDOCT device (SOCT Copernicus REVO). Main outcome measures were macular thickness, macular volume and RNFL thickness. Their correlations with age, refractive error, anterior chamber depth (ACD) and axial length (AL) was analyzed. Right eyes of all subjects were selected for analysis.Results: In this study group (mean age 10.70±2.82 years), the average peripapillary RNFL thickness was 117.11±9.15 μm, the central macular thickness was 232.10±15.81 μm, the average macular thickness was 286.70±9.82 μm, and the average macular volume was 8.01±0.28 mm³. The average values for the biometric data were: axial length – 23.16±0.94 mm, anterior chamber depth – 3.64±0.26 mm, the spherical equivalent (SE) value – +0.81±0.58 diopter. Central macular thickness, inner macular thickness (superior, inferior, nasal, temporal quadrants) values, total macular thickness and macular volume were significantly higher in males than in females. We found a positive correlation between central macular thickness, inner nasal macular thickness, outer inferior macular thickness values, and age. Also, we found a significant correlation between the average macular thickness values and the average macular volume values (p<0.0001). RNFL measurements did not correlate with age (p=0.199). Almost all macular parameters were consistently positively correlated with SE. A significant correlation was also found between the central macular thickness, inner inferior macular thickness, inner nasal macular thickness and the ACD. We found a significant correlation between the average macular thickness, macular volume, inner superior macular thickness, outer macular thickness (superior, inferior, nasal, temporal quadrants) values and the AL.Conclusion: This study found normal reference ranges for RNFL and macular parameters measured by SOCT Copernicus REVO in healthy Caucasian children aged 6-17 years. This normative values could be very useful in early diagnosing and monitoring of optic neuropathy, glaucoma and macular diseases in childhood
