Kuvataiteen maisterin opinnäytetyöni käsittää kokonaisuuden, johon kuuluvat teokset Jotain tapahtuu koko ajan, ja se on hiljainen laulu, sekä Kesähuone. Käsittelen kahden teoksen muodostamaa kokonaisuutta toisiaan täydentävänä esityksenä, joka tapahtui liukuvasti kevään ja kesän 2022 aikana. Teoksen ensimmäinen julkinen osuus oli esillä Kuva/Tila -galleriassa 6.5.2022, jolloin toin Kuvan Kevät -näyttelyn avajaisiin täytekakkuja ja muita syötäviä asioita kantavan juhlapöydän, ja luin yleisölle laulutekstin. Teosparin toisen osan julkinen esitys tapahtui Project Room -galleriassa 10.-26.6.2022 koko galleriatilan kattavana monimediaisena installaationa, jonka keskeisiä elementtejä olivat arkinen esinemaailma, syötävä materiaali, ääni, kirjoitettu teksti, hajut ja ilmavirta.
Teosten keskeisten materiaalien, kuten ruuan, lyyrisen tekstin ja esineinstallaatioiden, kautta pohdin työskentelyssäni juhlan, lahjan antamisen, identiteetin rakentumisen, sekä sukulaisuussuhteisiin ja yhdessäoloon liittyvien jännitteiden teemoja. Opinnäytteen kirjallisessa osassa käsittelen näitä teemoja suhteessa työprosessin aikana keräämääni viittausmateriaaliin, joka sisältää muun muassa kaunokirjallisia ja teoreettisia teoksia, elokuvia, esittävän taiteen teoksia, sekä esimerkkejä taiteilijoista, jotka käyttävät ruokaa ilmaisullisena välineenään. Kirjallisen osan temaattiset luvut käsittelevät vuorotellen ja limittäin kolmea aihealuetta: ruokaa taideteoksen materiaalina ja affektiivisena lähtökohtana, arkisten materiaalisuuksien ja teoksen sisäisen henkilöhahmon suhdetta teoksen todellisuutta rakentavina elementteinä, sekä autiuden, ja epäonnistumisen ajatuksia suhteessa fantastisen tilan luomiseen teoksessa.
Opinnäytteeni kirjallinen osa sisältää liitteenä myös teoksiin kuuluneet tekstiosuudet, sekä katkelmia prosessin aikana tekemistäni muistiinpanoista, sillä ajattelen niiden valottavan tärkeällä tavalla sekä teosten dramaturgiaa, että taiteellista ajatteluani prosessin aikana. Käsittelen opinnäytteen kirjallista osaa tärkeänä tapana koota yhteen ja kommunikoida laajalle tilaan ja aikaan levinneen teoskokonaisuuden syntyyn vaikuttaneita asioita, toiminnan takana olleita ajatuksia ja tunteita

Koko, dúo de jazz (Japón/Alemania)
No full textConcierto interpretado por el dúo de jazz Koko. Taiko Saito y Niko Meinhold son una pareja musical en perfecta sincronía. La japonesa Taiko Saito creció rodeada por la percusión. Cursó estudios de marimba en Tokio y luego se aventuró a explorar nuevos caminos en Berlín junto al vibrafonista de jazz, David Friedman, entre otros reconocidos músicos. Por su parte, Niko Meinhold estudió en Berlín y Estocolmo, donde compuso música para Big Bands, bandas sonoras y música para radio y televisión, actividad que alterna como pianista de varias agrupaciones.
El dúo Koko se ha presentado en varios festivales de renombre internacional como el Zeltsmann Marimba Festival (Estados Unidos), Jazzfest Bonn (Alemania), Tung Yung Festival (Corea del Sur) y Reykjavik Jazz Festival (Islandia), y a la par han tocado en prestigiosos escenarios como la Sala de la Filarmónica de Berlín, el City Concert Hall de Tokio, el Concert Hall de Sapporo y la Gedachtniskirche de Berlín, entre otros.
Este concierto también se celebró en la ciudad de Barranquilla el jueves 16 de agosto de 2012 a las 7:00 pm en el Teatro Amira de la Rosa
The dynamic geometry of interaction machine:a token-guided graph rewriter
Full text linkIn implementing evaluation strategies of the lambda-calculus, both correctness and efficiency of implementation are valid concerns. While the notion of correctness is determined by the evaluation strategy, regarding efficiency there is a larger design space that can be explored, in particular the trade-off between space versus time efficiency. Aiming at a unified framework that would enable the study of this trade-off, we introduce an abstract machine, inspired by Girard's Geometry of Interaction (GoI), a machine combining token passing and graph rewriting. We show soundness and completeness of our abstract machine, called the Dynamic GoI Machine (DGoIM), with respect to three evaluations: call-by-need, left-to-right call-by-value, and right-to-left call-by-value. Analysing time cost of its execution classifies the machine as "efficient" in Accattoli's taxonomy of abstract machines
KoKo German L1 Learner Corpus v1
No full textThe KoKo Corpus is an error-annotated learner corpus of L1 German speakers. It
has been created with the aim to investigate and describe the writing skills of
German-speaking secondary-school pupils at the end of their school career by
analysing authentic texts produced in classrooms.
The corpus building process was guided by two goals:
1. describe writing skills at the transition from secondary school to
university,
2. determine external factors that may influence the distribution of writing
skills, such as the region, sociolinguistic (gender, age), socio-economic, and
language-related biographical factors (L1, preferred variety of German, reading
and writing habits, etc.).
The pupils were selected from three different German-speaking areas:
- North Tyrol (Austria), South Tyrol (Italy), and Thuringia (Germany).
Classes were sampled randomly, using the size of the cities in which the
schools were located (small vs. medium vs. big) and the type of school
(providing general education vs. education specific to a particular profession)
as strata for the sampling. Since data were collected during regular courses,
the typical formation of secondary-school classes in the three regions is
represented in the whole corpus. Most of the participants are German native
speakers (n=1319, 82.7%).
