Systemy logistyczne w funkcjonowaniu przedsiębiorstw przetwórstwa rolno-spożywczego
W publikacji przedstawiono stan zaawansowania i stosowane rozwiązania w sferze logistyki w przedsiębiorstwach przemysłu rolno-spożywczego. Ludwik WickiNarodowe Centrum Nauki

Miejsce logistyki w produkcji trzody chlewnej
Similarly as in the whole economy, the modernization of agrarian sector influences on growing importance of logistics. Modern agricultural enterprises must transport and store not only huge amounts of inputs (e.g. feed, fertilizers, pesticides, energy, seeds, etc.) but also the final animal products (forage, live animals, meat etc.). This paper presents the scale of the production and transport of pig production in Poland against the background of non-agrarian products (coal, liquid fuels). Moreover, author presents the classification of the products that are part of internal and external trade and storage process in a classic pig farm
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Energy Supply within Sustainable Agricultural Production: Challenges, Policies and Mechanisms
Providing the security of a broad-based energy and slowing the speed of climate change are the main challenges today of the basic of legal framework to stimulate the development of alternative energy sources. Energy from renewable sources is one part of the system, which not only enables to provide energy self-sufficiency, but also contributes to the reduction heating of the Earth’s atmosphere. International climate agreements indicate the need to intensify the prevention of global warming and accelerate the reduction in CO2 emissions. The implementation of such challenging plans as outlined in the European Green Deal or "Fit for 55," among others, entails the almost complete elimination of GHG emissions in the energy sector, which can be very challenging for some member states. In the EU, the preferred direction of development of RES use is distributed generation and increasing the share of the use of by-products and organic waste for the production biofuels. This creates great opportunities for rural areas, which until the last century were identified with agriculture and the production of food or raw materials. While the role of agriculture will not diminish, as incomes are rising in relatively poor countries with a high elasticity of demand for food, these areas will increasingly perform a number of other important functions as well. The production of energy raw materials and energy, which is no longer a mere idea, but is becoming, thanks to the development of new technologies, a mainstream energy sector that can make contribution to improving energy security and achieving climate neutrality
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Precision Farming as an Element of the 4.0 Industry Economy
The study attempts to determine the place of precision farming in Poland, in conditions of the emergence of new megatrends in a globalizing, digital society and the economy entering the industry 4.0 era. The understanding of the concept of megatrends by various authors, their main types, as well as the basic technologies relevant to the 4.0 economy are presented. The concept and scope of precision farming as well as the necessary conditions and benefits of its use are briefly discussed. It was found that at present, the dissemination of solutions of this agriculture in Poland is still limited. This is due, inter alia, to the small share of large-scale farms (especially large agricultural land), which is a condition for obtaining favorable economic effects from using this form of farming. Progressive improvement in the area structure of agricultural enterprises, the growing concentration of production in them and the relatively lower prices of machinery and equipment for precision farming will, however, be conducive to its expansion in scope. The technological knowledge of producers is also improving. Therefore, it can be expected that the importance of this type of farming will increase in the near future
