Review of Naturalistic Teaching Models for Children with Autism.

    No full text
Color poster describing research conducted by Matthew H. Newquist and Kevin Schlichenmeyer, advised by Kevin P. Klatt.Within Applied Behavior Analysis, several different naturalistic teaching models are used to teach skills to children with autism. These models include: Incidental Teaching (IT), Milieu Teaching (MT), Natural Language Paradigm (NLP), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Enhanced Milieu Teaching (EMT), Prelinguistic Milieu Teaching (PMT), Multiple Incidental Teaching Sessions (MITS), and Speech and Play Enhancement for Autistic Kids (SPEAK). A review of these models is provided for readers to discern the similarities and differences of these models.University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire Office of Research and Sponsored Programs

Data for Single Gyroid in H-shaped Block Copolymers

    No full text
With the data provided here, users can reproduce all the results of self-consistent field theory (SCFT) calculations presented in the associated paper. The data set is split into the subdirectories 'figure#' corresponding to each figure in the main paper. Each folder contains input files to generate the converged solutions of the SCFT simulations for the corresponding figures in the paper. Information about the open-source C++ SCFT program is available at GitHub (https://github.com/dmorse/pscfpp) and the user manual page (https://dmorse.github.io/pscfpp-man/). For a detailed description of the data files, please read the readme file. This data set contains the input and output files from the PSCF C++ program used for the self-consistent field theory (SCFT) simulation in "Single Gyroid in H-shaped Block Copolymers." Self-consistent field theory was used to investigate the equilibrium phase behavior of H-shaped block copolymers. With this dataset, users should be able to regenerate all the calculations that appeared in the paper, using the open-source C++ SCFT program available on GitHub (https://github.com/dmorse/pscfpp).This work was supported primarily by the National Science Foundation through the University of Minnesota MRSEC under Award Number DMR-2011401.Park, Sojung; Bates, Frank S; Dorfman, Kevin D. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    No full text
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
