Teknik Pencocokan Citra dalam Fotogrametri untuk Dokumentasi Cagar Budaya
International audienceToday the image matching technique is used extensively in photogrammetry. This method, which originated from the computer vision domain, facilitates several tasks within the photogrammetric workflow which previously had to be performed manually. Photogrammetry itself is a technique which is often employed in the documentation of heritage as well as archaeology in order to create 3D models. Photogrammetry can be an alternative or a complement to laser scanning in producing accurate and reality-based 3D models. This paper will summarize the state of the art of the image matching technique often used in modern photogrammetry software packages. Several case studies of its use in the area of heritage documentation will also be presented
Implementation of Forest Canopy Density Model to Monitor Forest Fragmentation in Mt. Simpang and Mt. Tilu Nature Reserves, West Java, Indonesia
Mt. Simpang and Mt. Tilu Nature Reserve which cover 23,000 hectares area, are the largest nature reserves in West Java (Whitten et al. 1996). Besides their important value as places of high biodiversity and as water towers, these reserves face severe threats due to habitat loss and fragmentation (MST 2000). Remote sensing has the ability to identify destructed and fragmented part of the reserves with the quickest and the most efficient way. In this research, Forest Canopy Density Model was used to detect the percentage of crown closures (canopy), which indicates the level of degradation. The model was used due to its independency from accuracy assessment. The result shows that FCD model was able to detect forest canopy
within one type vegetation. It was not able to differentiate forest canopy among two types of vegetation. Teak plantation outside the reserves showed greater FCD value than natural forest. Further research which incorporates other parameters is needed to overcome this problem
ANTHROPOGENIC FIRE REGIME DETECTION USING 1953 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH REPOSITORY FROM THE WESTERN DESERT OF AUSTRALIA
Covered by arid and semi-arid desert, 70 percent of Australia mainland has known for years for it’s social and cultural phenomenon of Aborigin people, the indigenous Australian tribes. Several comunities of Aboriginal tribes, such as Martu people, has developed methods according to genders, to meet their daily needs of food during the cool-dry season from May to August. Men focus on gun hunting, while the women focus on hunting wooden or iron digging sticks and burning small fires on a regular basis to support their foraging activities. Many researchers suggested that moderate and repeated burning has several positive impacts to the surrounding biotic web and terrestrial biodiversity, while preventing habitat loss at the local scale. Remote Sensing method, such as aerial photography and satellite imagery, are suitable technology that developed to acquire certain data or information in large-scale measurement especially in quantify past and present fire activity at spatial scales useful for a range of fire and vegetation management applications. In this research, an ununiformed illumination of Australian Panchromatic 1953 aerial image repository were reconstructed to widen the known information obtained using Landsat satellite mission data sets from 1970’s. The geometric reconstruction of the imagery was done using GCP acquired from Panchromatic Landsat 8 data using still land objects. The radiometric reconstruction was done using Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization method, to the non-uniform illumination on each flight path, and stitched into mosaic. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of methods in Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) feature extraction by using GLCM in very limited spectral information by comparing advance segmentation technique, the Multiresolution Segmentation and Segmentation
THE INFLUENCE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES AND AMENITIES ON SPATIAL PATTERN IN THE NORTHERN AREA OF BANDUNG: AN AGENT BASED MODELLING APPROACH
Bandung is one of the largest growing cities in Indonesia with a high human population growth and density. The northern part which has hilly terrain with nice and beautiful scenery attracted many people to live there. This condition puts pressure to this area. Local government is very concerned with this water catchment area due to its rapid land use change. Some models have been developed to identify, monitor and predict a change on spatial pattern in the future, but none of them incorporate spatial externality and agent interaction in the built model. The aim of this paper is to explore how these two items can affect a spatial pattern of the study area. The study focuses on residential area and the simulation model is developed based on an agent based modeling. The model is used to simulate the dynamic spatial pattern. The model is cells based and it represents geographic data, i.e. land cover, terrain, location of public facilities. The cell characteristic is influenced by and influence to the neighboring cells. The hypothetical agent took a decision to seek a place to settle based on proximity of public facilities and amenities. They interact to another agent and cell under its control. Probabilistic decision-making used in the interaction process. The simulation result demonstrates that this approach can capture spatial change based on the human environment interaction
DATA OPTIMALIZATION IN PERMANENT SCATTERER INTERFEROMETRIC SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR (PS-INSAR) TECHNIQUE FOR LAND SUBSIDENCE ESTIMATION
Since the introduction of the persistent scatterer technique (PS-InSAR) in the early 1999, the applicability of radar interferometry has increased considerably.
In this research, PS-InSAR technique is proposed to retrieve the volume change of long-term continuously land deformation. This technique is used to analyze subsidence in Bandung City, West Java-Indonesia by assessing 19 ALOS PALSAR images (Japanese L band spaceborne) during the periods of July 2007-February 2011. In this research, data are optimized by reducing set data images with iterative PS-InSAR processing. This PS-InSAR processing chain based on a rigid quality assessment of the estimated parameter like minimum coherence (0.9) and PS density point (200), in order to get an optimum quality of light PS-InSAR (LPS-InSAR) concept technique. Moreover, a strict quality validation of PS-InSAR with other geodetic techniques such as DInSAR and GPS methods. The result of validation has resulted such as 1,4 ± 1,4 cm/year (PS InSAR-DInSAR) and 1,6 ± 0,7 cm/year (PS-InSAR-GPS). For land subsidence velocity in Bandung City has results between 0,6 ± 0,4 cm/year and 2,1 ± 1,2 cm/year. This research shows a capability of data optimalization in PS-InSAR technique as basic concept of LPS-InSAR processing
MULTISENSOR DATA FUSION USING MULTIRESOLUSION ANALYSIS (MRA)
The objective of this study is to propose multiresolution data fusion scheme using multiresolution analysis (MRA). Three techniques compared, respectively based on Haar wavelet basis (HWB), Daubechies wavelet basis (DWB), and IHS transform. Daubechies Wavelet Basis (DWB) is far more efficient than the HWB and IHS transform, thus establishing the advantages for data fusion of formally multiresolution analysis. DWB is best image sharpening and maintain the information of original data. Especially, Daubechies wavelet basis is able to enhance image sharpenin g and preserve spectral information. It has showed the potential application of wavelet transform for higher efficiency for merging spatial and spectral characteristics of multiresolution data
THREE DIMENSIONAL CITY BUILDING MODELLINGWITH LIDAR DATA (CASE STUDY: CIWARUGA, BANDUNG)
As one of the metropolitan cities in Indonesia, Bandung has many kinds of existing buildings. According to that fact, LIDAR or Light Detection and Ranging technology can be used to create good and accurate urban planning system needed to see spreading of existing building. It is used because it scans the area quickly and accurately. In addition, Orthophoto is used to increase the accuracy of the information from the model. These data will be processed into surface model and three-dimensional building model. The coverage area of this study is 222 hectare with 678 are the building blocks. As a result, model is divided into three categories based on the size and distance of proximity between one building to another. From the results, 250 buildings model which are in category A and B can be modeled very well and the rest of the category C it was unable to create a good building model or fracture appears on the model due to the building blocks of those area are too dense
IDENTIFICATION OF WATER INUNDATION USING QUICKBIRD AND ALOS PALSAR SATELLITE IMAGE STUDY CASE: DAYEUHKOLOT SUBDISTRICT, BANDUNG DISTRICT
Indonesia was one of many disasterous potential country, more than 70% of natural disaster happened were hidrometeorogical disaster including flood. Flood is defined as an overflow or inundation that comes from a river or other body of water and causes or threatens damage, any relatively high stream flow over topping the natural or artificial banks in any reach of a stream. There are 4 regions in Java Island that have the highest potential of flood, they are Jakarta Province, Merapi Slope Area, Bengawan Solo and Citarum Watershed Area. The purpose of this study is to identify land cover and water inundation of the study area using Quickbird and ALOS PALSAR image. Before classified and analyze the result, image pre-processing has to be generated in Quickbird and ALOS PALSAR image data to rid off the distorsion from the data. Quickbird Image can be used for land cover identification with generated object based image classification and ALOS PALSAR Image are applied to identify water inundation in flood area using backscatter value deliniation. By 10th September 2013 with only 5 mm, all of the classes were inundated by water at several values
