Ethnography as a mode of production of collaborative knowledge. Epistemological and methodological reflections
Get PDFEn este capítulo presentamos un enfoque teórico-metodológico de la etnografía colaborativa a partir de reflexiones elaboradas desde nuestra propia experiencia de campo entre los años 2004 y 2018 con adscriptos Huarpes de la zona del “desierto” del NE y conurbano de la provincia de Mendoza. Remarcamos la etnografía como “dominio de saber” (en sentido foucaultiano) desde tres dimensiones: a) texto, b) proceso y c) experiencia y a la luz de una mirada conceptual transdisciplinar que incorpora los aportes de la espectrografía y del pensamiento nómade/desértico a la reflexión antropológica convencional. Nos focalizamos en lo que entendemos como dos dimensiones políticas del trabajo etnográfico: la sensibilidad y la colaboración.In this chapter we present a theoretical-methodological approach to collaborative ethnography, based on reflections developed from our own field experience between 2004 and 2018 with Huarpes people ascribed to the "desert" area of the NE and the suburbs of the province of Mendoza. We emphasize the concept of ethnography as "domain of knowledge" (in the Foucaultian sense) from three dimensions: a) text, b) process and c) experience and within a transdisciplinary conceptual framework that incorporates the contributions of spectrography and nomadic / desert thinking to conventional anthropological reflection.
