No full textThese biennial reports are summaries of the activities of this agency. They were extracted from a series of Kansas agency reports covering over 100 state agencies and institutions bound together for each biennium, 1959/1960 - 1979/1980.
The Kansas Office of the State Printer was created in 1905 and abolished in 1977.
The 1976 legislature created a Division of Printing within the Department of Administration to assume the duties of the former Office of the State Printer.
Reports 1976-1980 are found under Kansas Department of Administration."The state printing plant was established in July 1905, to provide a centrally located establishment through which printing could be provided for the legislature, the governor, state officials, the supreme court, state institutions, and 'any board or commission created under the laws of Kansas.'" (1970 Report) It was succeeded by the Kansas Department of Administration, Division of Printing in 1977
