Einfluss der Landschaftsstrukturen auf die Präsenz von Rebhuhn-Prädatoren in oberfränkischen Blühflächen
No full textRebhühner (Perdix perdix) sind Verlierer der intensivierten Agrarlandschaft, da diese strukturreiche und extensiv bewirtschaftete Offenlandschaften benötigen. Der hohe Prädationsdruck setzt insbesondere kleinen Rebhuhnpopulationen zu. Es wurde daher die Frage untersucht, inwiefern die Aktivität von Rebhuhn-Prädatoren von den Landschaftsstrukturen in der oberfränkischen Agrarlandschaft beeinflusst wird. Hierzu wurde ein Feldversuch in Form eines Störungsmonitorings in der oberfränkischen Agrarlandschaft von August 2019 bis März 2020 durchgeführt. In vier Durchgängen mit je 21 Tagen Standzeit und 20 Wildkameras wurde die Bodenprädatoraktivität innerhalb von 40 Blühflächen ermittelt (+ zwei Durchgänge zur Ermittlung des Blühflächeneffekts an zehn Standorten: je eine Wildkamera innerhalb und am Rand der Blühfläche). Zusätzlich wurden die Streckenlegungen der Bodenprädatoren der Jagdjahre 2016/17 bis 2019/20 im Untersuchungsgebiet eingeholt sowie eine Landschaftsstrukturanalyse (Radius um den Kamerastandort: 300 und 1000 Meter) durchgeführt, um die Detektionen in einen Kontext mit der Bestandssituation der Region zu bringen. Eine Haupterkenntnis ist, dass die Anzahl der detektierten Bodenprädatoren nicht von der Landschaftsstrukturvielfalt abhängig waren. Wilde Bodenprädatoren kamen jedoch umso häufiger und diverser in Blühflächen vor, je mehr lineare Landschaftselemente direkt zu Waldstrukturen führten. Die detektierten Hauskatzen hatten die höchste Aktivitätsdichte in den Blühflächen und kamen umso häufiger vor, je mehr Siedlungsflächen im Beobachtungsradius waren. Dies deutet auf eine zusätzliche Entwertung dieser Habitate als Rebhuhnbrutgebiet hin. Im Vergleich der Detektionen zwischen innerhalb und außerhalb der Blühflächen wurden am Rand erheblich mehr Prädatoren detektiert als in der Mitte. Der Effekt der Blühflächen ist somit begrenzt und von den umliegenden Landschaftsstrukturen abhängig. Daher ist auch die Kontrolle der Räuberpopulationen notwendig.Grey Partridges (Perdix perdix) are the losers of the intensified agricultural landscape because they need structured and extensively managed open landscapes. The high predation pressure affects small partridge populations in particular. Therefore, the question was investigated to what extent the activity of partridge predators is influenced by the landscape structures in the Upper Franconian agricultural landscape. For this purpose, a field trial in the form of a disturbance monitoring was conducted in the Upper Franconian agricultural landscape from August 2019 to March 2020. In four runs, each with 21 days of plant life and 20 wildlife cameras, soil predator activity was determined within 40 flowering areas (+ two runs to determine the flowering area effect at 10 locations: one wildlife camera within and at the edge of the flowering area). In addition, the routes of soil predators from the hunting years 2016/17 to 2019/20 were collected in the study area and a landscape structure analysis (radius around the camera location: 300 and 1000 meters) was carried out in order to put the detections in context with the stock situation of the region. One main finding is that the number of soil predators detected was not dependent on the diversity of landscape structures. Wild soil predators, however, were more common and diverse in flowering areas, the more linear landscape elements led directly to forest structures. The detected domestic cats had the highest activity density in the flowering areas and were more frequent the more settlement areas in the observation radius. This indicates a further devaluation of these habitats as partridge breeding grounds. Comparing the detections between inside and outside the flowering areas, significantly more predators were detected at the edge than in the middle. The effect of the flowering areas is therefore limited and depends on the surrounding landscape structures. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
