    Since 1945, and during nearly thirty years, the wages scales in French industry have been grounded upon a formal classification, known, following the name of their main author, as the " classification Parodi In 1968 every one has agreed on the growing inadequacy of the system and long négociations were initiated in order to design a new one.     Radioactive Beams in Particle Therapy: Past, Present, and Future

    Heavy ion therapy can deliver high doses with high precision. However, image guidance is needed to reduce range uncertainty. Radioactive ions are potentially ideal projectiles for radiotherapy because their decay can be used to visualize the beam. Positron-emitting ions that can be visualized with PET imaging were already studied for therapy application during the pilot therapy project at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, and later within the EULIMA EU project, the GSI therapy trial in Germany, MEDICIS at CERN, and at HIMAC in Japan. The results show that radioactive ion beams provide a large improvement in image quality and signal-to-noise ratio compared to stable ions. The main hindrance toward a clinical use of radioactive ions is their challenging production and the low intensities of the beams. New research projects are ongoing in Europe and Japan to assess the advantages of radioactive ion beams for therapy, to develop new detectors, and to build sources of radioactive ions for medical synchrotrons

    Çocukların Değişen Mizah Kültürü: Youtube Parodi Hikâyelerinde Çocukların Tüketim Öyküleri

    <p>Çocukların, bebeklikten itibaren en çok takip ettiği platformların başında gelen Youtube’da paylaşılan ve popülerleşen parodi eğlencesi, post-modern kültürün bir parçasıdır.  Metnin aslına gönderme yapan sonsuz çağrışımlar içinde yaratılan mizah, bir tür pastişi/taklidi andırsa da çocuk oyun ve eğlence kültürünün popüler formlarından biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Youtube’daki çocuk parodi, komedi, skeç videolarının ele alındığı bu çalışmada, aynı zamanda içerik üreticisi olan çocukların yayınladıkları videolar aracılığıyla mizahı nasıl ürettikleri, mizahın kaynağının neye dayandığı soruşturulmaktadır. Bu amaçla, Fatih Selim Tube, Yusuf Mirza Tube, Agugu Tv, Oyuncak Avı, Oyuncak Şekeri, Ecrinsu Çoban, Oyuncak Oynuyorum, Oyuncu Yusuf, Prenses Elif, Prenses Lina Tv’de en popüler 242 çocuk youtuber videosu üzerinden, tematik nitel içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Youtube, çocukların takip ettikleri bir platform olmasının ötesinde, aynı zamanda firmalar için çocuk izleyiciye ulaşılabilen bir mecradır. Youtube’un bu ticari karakteri, Youtube’da üretilen her içeriğin içinde tüketim kültürü unsuruyla karşılaşma olasılığını arttırmaktadır. O nedenle, bu çalışmada Youtube’la birlikte değişen çocuk mizahı incelenirken, bu mizah içinde tüketim kültürüne ilişkin unsurlar da araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, Youtube’daki çocuk youtuber kanallarındaki parodi videolarının popüler metinlere gönderme yapan pastiş/taklit videolar oldukları, saklambaç, kaçma kovalamaca gibi oyunlara dayandıkları, ticari içerik taşıdıkları bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.</p&gt

    The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model is a numerical weather prediction system designed for both atmospheric research and operational forecasting needs. WRF requires a large amount of CPU power which increases drastically if WRF is used to model a big geographical area with a high resolution. To satisfy the computational demand WRF requires large number of computing resources through infrastructures such as clusters in grid or cloud. In this paper the performance analysis of different WRF simulations to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing environment (single node and cluster) compared to that of a HCP cluster is presented

Desde el primer momento advertimos que García Linera no es solo un autor de reflexiones meramente teóricas, sino un lector de su coyuntura, afectado por sus propias condiciones de existencia. Desde el primer ?Qhananchiri? y su paso posterior por el grupo Comuna, hasta convertirse en vicepresidente del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, la producción de García Linera está atravesada por Marx, Lenin, Mariátegui, Aricó y Zavaleta Mercado. La negación de la multiplicidad indígena en Bolivia, la guerra del Agua como una crisis social general y un punto de bifurcación, y la pregunta leninista ¿qué hacer? motorizan su búsqueda de una nueva forma estatal que reúna la dispersión, no anule la autodeterminación de la sociedad civil, reactive las prácticas comunitarias, sea capaz de revertir el desencuentro entre el Estado y la composición sociopolítica de Bolivia y logre hacer durar un proceso revolucionario. Contra las críticas que insisten en que hay un García Linera ?autonomista? y otro ?estatista?, Parodi muestra que estamos más bien ante un teórico de la novedad que elabora una idea de Estado como proceso paradojal, incompleto y abierto al devenir de la historia.Ramiro Parodi brings us closer to the thought of Álvaro García Linera. From the outset, we recognize that García Linera is not merely an author of theoretical reflections, but rather a reader of his own context, deeply affected by his own circumstances. From the first "Qhananchiri" and his subsequent involvement with the Comuna group, to his becoming Vice President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, García Linera's work is permeated by Marx, Lenin, Mariátegui, Aricó, and Zavaleta Mercado. The denial of indigenous diversity in Bolivia, the Water War as a general social crisis and a turning point, and the Leninist question "What is to be done?" drive his search for a new form of state that unites the fragmented population, does not negate the self-determination of civil society, revitalizes community practices, is capable of reversing the disconnect between the state and Bolivia's sociopolitical composition, and ensures the sustainability of a revolutionary process. Against the criticisms that insist there is an "autonomist" García Linera and a "statist" one, Parodi shows that we are rather dealing with a theorist of novelty who elaborates an idea of ??the State as a paradoxical, incomplete process open to the unfolding of history.Ramiro Parodi nos aproxima do pensamento de Álvaro García Linera.     Electromagnetic Signal of a Proton Beam in Biological Tissues for a Potential Range-Verification Approach in Proton Therapy

    In the present work we investigate the fundamental properties of a proton beam's electromagnetic signal as a candidate for range verification in proton therapy. We compute the electric and magnetic fields from a pulsed proton beam in biological tissues in a cylindrical geometry via a dedicated analytical solution of the Maxwell equations. The tissues are specified through their dielectric response and stopping power, where we consider a straight trajectory with a range that corresponds to protons with an initial energy of 150 MeV. We analyze the characteristics of the pulse and the impact of the pulse shape. The effect of the tissue's conductivity on the deposited charges is specifically taken into account. In addition, we calculate and analyze the radiative pulse through the Liénard-Wiechert approach. We find that the conductivity charge relaxation has a big influence on the electric field strength, even in the presence of boundaries. It strongly depends on its environment, i.e., the permittivity, conductivity, and boundaries of the surrounding tissues. The electric field that originates from the primary protons vanishes in a time scale of ns. Conversely, the magnetic field is independent of its environment and constant in strength during a rectangular pulse (10μs). For μA peak beam currents it lies in the pT range, 10 cm away from the beam axis, and is therefore detectable through, e.g., optical magnetometry. Its spatial profile, however, does not exhibit a distinct feature with respect to the range, but decreases rather smoothly and characteristically along the beam axis. The typical velocity dependence of the magnetic field strength is suppressed, due to the increasing charge density downstream. Finally, the primary protons give rise to an electromagnetic pulse in the radio spectrum (it peaks at approximately 9 GHz). It originates spherically around the range and consists partially of bremsstrahlung and Cherenkov radiation. Yet, a broader comparison to other radiation sources, e.g., secondary electron bremsstrahlung, is required. Based on our findings, we conclude that the magnetic field signal has favorable properties that motivate its detection experimentally for range-verification purposes
