Letter from Ida Otani to Michi Weglyn, April 26, 1997
A letter from Ida Otani to Michi Weglyn about the firing of Japanese American railroad workers during World War II. Otani describes the hardships her family went through after her father was fired by Western Pacific Railroad and the family was forced to vacate their home because it was on railroad property. These materials are from box 73 and 74 of the Frank Chin Papers. The Frank Chin Papers contain personal and professional correspondence between Frank Chin and Michi Weglyn relating to particular projects on which either author was working as well as files related to the Day of Remembrance Tribute to Michi Weglyn

The author, Ida Allen, recounts some of her life in Maine\u27s woods. She was born in a Moxie Gorge log camp in the 1910s, and she remembers how the river drivers and lumbermen got logs from Lake Moxie over Moxie Falls ( the Niagara of the north ) through Moosehead Lake to the company mills. Journal of Ida Frances Hunt
Typescript by George S. Hansen of the journal of Ida Frances Hunt (20 pages). Included is a description of the trek to Arizona in 1876. Ida\u27s family was accompanied by the Bushmans who they joined in St. George on their way to Arizona. They finally settled in Snowflake, Arizona, where her father, John Hunt, was appointed bishop. Ida later married David K. Udall, another early settler
Dalitz plot analysis of the decay B±→K±K±K∓
We analyze the three-body charmless decay B±→K±K±K∓ using a sample of 226.0±2.5 million BB̅ pairs collected by the BABAR detector. We measure the total branching fraction and CP asymmetry to be B=(35.2±0.9±1.6)×10-6 and ACP=(-1.7±2.6±1.5)%. We fit the Dalitz plot distribution using an isobar model and measure the magnitudes and phases of the decay coefficients. We find no evidence of CP violation for the individual components of the isobar model. The decay dynamics is dominated by the K+K- S-wave, for which we perform a partial-wave analysis in the region m(K+K-)<2 GeV/c2. Significant production of the f0(980) resonance, and of a spin zero state near 1.55 GeV/c2 are required in the isobar model description of the data. The partial-wave analysis supports this observation
