Mapping the quixotic volatility of smellscapes: a trialogue - interview with Kate McLean
This chapter discusses how Kate McLean uses mapping as part of her artistic-based research into smellscapes. McLean investigates how smell can be mapped when traversing environments in smellwalks through cities and using gathered olfactory data. Her work is mainly concerned with the ephemerality of smells and how to visually capture this volatility in and on smell maps. These maps are produced as an assemblage of digital technologies and manual techniques such as drawing and painting. Lammes and Perkins discuss with her how olfactory mapping foregrounds many different temporalities and how it brings us new temporal – as well as spatial - stories

Effects of Commercial Forest Harvesting on the Distribution of the American Black Duck (Anas rubripes) during the breeding period in New Brunswick, Canada
Data were collected as part of a Masters of Science in Forestry Degree through the University of New Brunswick with anticipated completion in January 2020. Waterfowl observation data from 1995-2017 were collected during the helicopter based waterfowl breeding pair survey in Eastern Canada by the Canadian Wildlife Service. Waterfowl observation and artificial nest data from 2018 were collected by MScF student, Kelly McLean. Habitat data were provided via GIS by the New Brunswick Department of Energy and Resource Development. Habitat is summarized in files for both the ten and twenty year period following a wetland being surveyed. Artificial nests were created to mimic black duck nests, timing, and incubation period. A nest was considered "successful" if one or more eggs were remaining at the end of the trial period. Response variable of black duck presence/absence, or nest success/failure are binomial

The Updated DeLone and McLean Model of Information Systems Success
In order to provide a general and comprehensive definition of information systems (IS) success that covers different evaluation perspectives, DeLone and McLean reviewed the existing definitions of IS success and their corresponding measures, and classified them into six major categories. Thus, they created a multidimensional measuring model with interdependencies between the different success categories (DeLone and McLean 1992). Motivated by DeLone and McLean’s call for further development and validation of their model, many researchers have attempted to extend or respecify the original model. Ten years after the publication of their first model and based on the evaluation of the many contributions to it, DeLone and McLean proposed an updated IS Success Model (DeLone and McLean 2003). This article gives an overview of the current state of research on the IS Success Model. Thereby, it offers a concise entry point to the theory's background and its application which might be specifically beneficial for novice readers
