Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Kajian Spiritualitas Terhadap Cara Beribadah Prajurit TNI dalam Pendidikan Militer di Pusdiklatpassus Batujajar
Full text linkTulisan ini membahas tentang pengkajian spiritualitas terhadap cara beribadah prajurit TNI di Pusdiklatpassus Batujajar. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis berpendapat bahwa spiritualitas menjadi sangat penting ketika prajurit mengikuti pendidikan. Spiritualitas menjadi dasar bagi setiap prajurit dalam menghadapi tantangan dan tekanan latihan. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif melalui: 1). Melalui wawancara terstruktur (In-dept interview) dan non-terstruktur menggunakan alat-alat pendukung berupa notebook dan recorder, 2). Observasi, 3). Dokumentasi melalui karya ilmiah. Selain itu, penulis menggunakan pendekatan teori spiritualitas Gary Thomas dan spiritualitas Kristen Lectio Divina sebagai pisau analisis. Berdasarkan data penelitian dan analis Teori, penulis menemukan bahwa pengalaman keseharian prajurit turut membentuk spiritualitas. Sementara itu, spiritualitas menjadi pegangan mereka dalam pelatihan. Melalui ibadah tersebut para prajurit mampu memelihara spiritualitas mereka dalam situasi apapun, seperti tertekan dalam proses latihan maupun keadaan darurat.This paper discusses the study of spirituality on how to worship TNI soldiers at the Batujajar Pusdiklatpassus. In this paper, the author argues that spirituality becomes very important when soldiers attend education. Spirituality is the basis for every soldier in facing the challenges and pressures of training. The research will be conducted using a qualitative methodology through: 1). Through structured interviews (In-dept interviews) and non-structured using supporting tools in the form of notebooks and recorders, 2). Observation, 3). Documentation through scientific work. In addition, the author uses the spiritual theory of Gary Thomas and Christian spirituality Lectio Divina as analytical tools. Based on research data and theoretical analysis, the authors found that the daily experiences of soldiers helped shape spirituality. Meanwhile, spirituality becomes their guide in training. Through this service, the soldiers are able to maintain their spirituality in any situation, such as being pressured during a training process or an emergency
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Kurikulum Katekisasi Anak GKJ Pangkalanjati : Suatu Studi dari Perspektif Pendidikan Agama Kristen
Full text linkKurikulum merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam proses pengajaran. Kurikulum menjadi sebuah jarak yang harus ditempuh supaya pengajaran terarah. Pengajaran gerejawi juga memerlukan kurikulum untuk menolong setiap pihak yang terlibat. Kurikulum bagi katekisasi anak yang merupakan bentuk pengajaran gerejawi merupakan bentuk persiapan bagi jemaat anak yang hendak menerima Perjamuan Kudus. Sebagai bentuk dari pengajaran gerejawi, katekisasi bagi anak perlu dirancang secara serius guna sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Penelitian ini meninjau kurikulum Katekisasi Anak GKJ Pangkalanjati berdasarkan tujuh fondasi pendidikan Agama Kristen menurut Robert W. Pazmino dan dilengkapi dengan perspektif pelayanan bagi anak menurut Lawrence O. Richards. Melalui kedua perspektif tersebut, maka dapat menghasilkan sebuah tinjauan bagi kurikulum katekisasi anak yang sesuai berdasarkan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Kepemimpinan Pendeta Dalam Pelayanan
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan pendeta yang baru dalam pelayanan di tengah konflik yang terjadi pada jemaat HKBP Untemungkur ditinjau dari kepemimpinan yang melayani. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konsep kepemimpinan yang melayani oleh Robert K. Geenleaf, menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, lalu pengambilan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara secara daring. Kepemimpinan pendeta di HKBP merupakan kepemimpinan yang menghamba atau melayani dan sudah terangkum pada prinsip pelayanan dan Agenda HKBP yang disebut poda tohonan, sebagai tugas dan panggilan pendeta sebagai pemimpin dan pelayan di gereja. Pada dasarnya pendeta yang baru dipindahkan di tengah konflik jemaat HKBP Untemungkur, tetap menghidupi dan menjalankan kepemimpinannya sesuai dengan prinsip pelayanan dan tugas panggilan yang dirumuskan HKBP dalam aturan dan peraturannya. Tinjauan konsep kepemimpinan yang melayani dalam tulisan ini memberikan pemahaman bahwa sebagai pendeta HKBP harus menjalankan tugas panggilannya walaupun ditempatkan pada jemaat yang mengalami konflik sekalipun. Kepemimpinan yang melayani terlahir dari pemimpin yang memiliki rasa ingin melayani terlebih dahulu dan pemimpin yang berfokus kepada yang dipimpinnya.

Dinamika Pengalaman Pelayanan Pendeta Senior yang Menuju Masa Emeritus di GKJ Klasis Semarang: Sebuah Kajian Spiritualitas
Full text linkDinamika akan selalu terjadi dalam proses kehidupan setiap individu, begitu juga dengan seorang pendeta yang menjalani tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pelayan. Sepanjang proses pelayanan, para pendeta mengalami berbagai tantangan yang tentu berpengaruh seluruh aspek kehidupan maupun kinerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana para pendeta mampu menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan dinamika pelayanan ditinjau dari kehidupan spiritualitasnya yang berdampak pada bagaimana mereka memaknai hidupnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketiga narasumber mengalami tantangan dalam proses pelayanan yang dijalani, baik dari waktu, keterpisahan dengan keluarga, penyampaian firman Tuhan, serta perkembangan teknologi. Hal ini kemudian menjadi landasan dinamika yang dialami baik dari proses melayani, perkembangan spiritual serta pemaknaan hidup dalam menyambut masa emeritus.Dynamics will always occur in the life process of every individual, as well as a pastor who carries out his duties and responsibilities as a servant. Throughout the ministry process, pastors experience various challenges which of course affect all aspects of their lives and performance. This research aims to see how pastors are able to face various challenges and dynamics of ministry in terms of their spiritual life which has an impact on how they interpret their lives. The method used in this research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research results showed that the three resource persons experienced challenges in the service process they underwent, both from time, separation from family, conveying God's word, and technological developments. This then becomes the basis for the dynamics experienced both in the process of serving, spiritual development and the meaning of life in welcoming the emeritus period
Pemaknaan Panggilan Diri Sebagai Pelayan Gereja terhadap Tenaga Detaser di GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng menurut Perspektif Spiritualitas Kristen
Full text linkDetaser merupakan pelayan gereja yang memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan gereja terkhususnya di GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng. Sebagai pelayan gereja, panggilan diri tentu saja menjadi bagian penting untuk dimaknai secara mendalam agar dapat terus fokus dalam menjalani setiap aktivitas pelayanan yang dilaksanakan. Melalui penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan metode interaktif, penelitian ini hadir untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis bagaimana para Detaser memaknai panggilan diri sebagai seorang pelayan di GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng melalui perspektif Spiritualitas Kristen sebagai rumusan masalah di dalam penulisan pada penelitian tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemaknaan panggilan diri seorang Detaser berasal dari komitmen pribadi serta spiritualitas Kristen Calvin sebagai inspirasi utama yang dianut, sehingga menjadi landasan iman para Detaser dalam memaknai panggilan diri yang memusatkan Allah sebagai pusat kehidupan. Hal ini dapat terlihat secara jelas dari sikap yang diambil oleh para Detaser dalam menghadapi setiap tantangan yang selalu mengutamakan Allah sebagai poros utama yang setia menemani dalam mengatasi tantangan dalam setiap kehidupan. Melalui hal tersebut, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangsih baru secara khusus kepada GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng dan komunitas gerejda di kalangan masyarakat serta keluarga agar dapat selalu memperhatikan panggilan diri terutama sebagai seorang pelayan yang dengan senantiasa mengandalkan Tuhan dalam setiap kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, pemaknaan panggilan diri yang berasal dari spiritualitas seseorang terkhusus tenaga Detaser menjadi sangat penting dalam kehidupan, agar dapat senantiasa memberikan semangat dalam menjalani setiap aktivitas pelayanan.Detachers are church servants who have an important role in church life, especially in GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng. As a church servant, vocation is of course an important part to be deeply interpreted in order to continue to focus on undergoing every service activity carried out. Through descriptive qualitative research conducted with interactive methods, this research is present to describe and analyze how Detachers interpret their calling as a servant at GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng through the perspective of Christian Spirituality as a problem formulation in writing the research. Based on this, the results show that the meaning of a Detacher's vocation comes from personal commitment and Calvin's Christian spirituality as the main inspiration adopted, so that it becomes the foundation of the Detachers' faith in interpreting their vocation which focuses on God as the center of life. This can be clearly seen from the attitude taken by Detachers in facing every challenge that always prioritizes God as the main axis that faithfully accompanies in overcoming challenges in every life. Through this, this research is expected to provide a new contribution specifically to the GBKP Klasis Lau Baleng and the church community among the community and families so that they can always pay attention to their calling, especially as a servant who always relies on God in every life. Therefore, the meaning of vocation that comes from one's spirituality, especially Detachers, is very important in life, so that it can always provide enthusiasm in carrying out every service activit
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
