Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
PELATIHAN KERAJINAN LIMBAH TANAMAN HANJELI KHAS WISATA GEOPARK CILETUH
Abstrak: Desa Waluran Mandiri merupakan desa yang terletak di Kawasan Wisata Geopark Ciletuh. Dengan produk unggulan tanaman hanjeli menjadi potensi bagi desa untuk melakukan pengembangan dalam berbagai aspek menunjang pemberdayaan bagi masyarakatnya. Limbah tanaman hanjeli yang dihasilkan masih memerlukan pengembangan salah satunya dijadikan aneka produk cenderamata. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan wawasan dalam pengembangan pengolahan limbah tanaman hanjeli dan menjadi salah satu alternatif peningkatan pada sektor ekonomi. Metode kegiatan adalah pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara langsung menggunakan media realia dan pelaksanaan praktik. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Tim Penggerak PKK Kecamatan Waluran dan Desa Waluran Mandiri sebanyak 10 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membagikan angket kepada peserta untuk memberikan tanggapan pada penyelenggaran dan kemanfaatan pelatihan. Hasil angket menunjukkan penyelenggaraan pelatihan dinilai 76% sangat baik dan 24% baik. Sedangkan kemanfaatan pelatihan dirasakan peserta dengan rata-rata nilai 78% sangat setuju dan 22% setuju. Dengan hasil bahwa peserta memiliki peningkatan wawasan dalam pengembangan pengolahan limbah tanaman hanjeli dan menjadikannya sebagai peluang usaha.Abstract: Waluran Mandiri Village is a village located in the Ciletuh Geopark Tourism Area. With the superior product of the hanjeli plant, it has the potential for villages to carry out developments in various aspects to support the empowerment of their communities. The hanjeli plant waste produced still requires development, one of which is to make various souvenir products. This community service activity aims to increase insight in the development of hanjeli plant waste treatment and become an alternative for improving the economic sector. The activity method is training that is carried out directly using realia media and practical implementation. The partners in this activity were the PKK Mobilizing Team of Waluran Subdistrict and Waluran Mandiri Village, consisting of 10 people. Evaluation is carried out by distributing questionnaires to participants to provide feedback on the implementation and benefits of the training. The results of the questionnaire showed that 76% of the participants rated the implementation of the training as very good and 24% as good. While the benefits of the training were felt by participants with an average score of 78% strongly agree and 22% agree. With the result that participants have increased insight in the development of hanjeli plant waste processing and make it a business opportunity.
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The results of hypothesis testing using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient r or test, significance level (α) used was 5% or 0.05 and df = 8, then the results obtained is the correlation coefficient and Pearson product moment (r) is obtained for 0.976 and the relationship showed a strong relationship, as well as direct and positive. R square = 0.906. as the coefficient of determination, which in this case means 90.6.% capacity factor results in the form of facial makeup is influenced by knowledge of corrective make-up, while 9.4% influenced by other factors.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Pengetahuan Tata Rias Koreksi Dan Kemampuan Hasil Riasan pada bentuk wajah. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional, yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Tatarias, Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta Timur. Menggunakan instrument berupa lembar criteria penilaian pengetahuan dan kemampuan.
Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Tata rias sebanyak 30 orang.. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu menggunakan Simple Random sampling. Setelah diperoleh data hasil penelitian, dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis dengan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Di dapat dari penelitian ternyata data berditribusi normal dan linier
Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Koefisien Korelasi Pearson Product Moment atau uji r, taraf signifikansi (α) yang digunakan adalah 5% atau 0,05 dan dk = 8, maka hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah koefisien korelasi dan product moment Pearson (r) diperoleh sebesar 0,976 dan hubungan tersebut menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup kuat, serta searah dan positif. R square = 0,906. sebagai koefisien determinasi, yang dalam hal ini berarti 90,6.% faktor kemampuan hasil riasan pada bentuk wajah dipengaruhi oleh Pengetahuan tentang make up korektif, sedangkan 9,4 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.
Dari uji Anova atau F tes, didapat F hit adalah 197,249 dengan tingkat sigmifikan 0.05. Oleh karena probabilitas atau Pvalue = 0.000 jauh lebih kecil dari 0,05, atau 0,000 < 0,05 artinya bahwa Hipotesis Noll (Ho) ditolak, maka model regresi dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pengaruh variabel Pengetahuan dengan kemampuan, maka Ho diterima, Hal ini berarti bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tata rias koreksi dengan kemampuan hasil riasan pada bentuk wajah.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

JUBAEDAH : Penerapan Pembelajaran Contexstual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Cara-Cara Penanganan Limbah Di SMK Caruban Nagari Kecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon. Proses pembelajaran Contexstual Teaching and Learning (CTL) merupakan pembelajaran yang membantu guru antara materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata siswa dan mendorong siswa membuat hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimiliki dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupannya sebagai anggota keluarga dan masyarakat. Dengan pemahaman ini, hasil belajar diharapkan lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, seorang guru dapat menggunakan pembelajaran Contexstual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam menyampaikan materi khususnya IPA (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan cara-cara penanganan limbah di SMK Caruban Nagari Kecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon.Untuk mengkaji apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dan pembelajaran tidak menggunakan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol pada pokok bahasan cara-cara penanganan limbah.Untuk mengkaji bagaimana respon siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning (CTL) pada pokok bahasan cara-cara penanganan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Caruban Nagari Kecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni diambil kelas XIa sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI b eksperimen dalam penelitian dan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 siswa. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan teknik tes, angket dan observasi. Setelah data diperoleh dari hasil penelitian maka data tersebut dianalisis dengan cara analisis kuantitaf, sebelum penulis melakukan uji instrumen untuk memperoleh validitas menggunkan master templet. Kesimpulam dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam kelas dengan menggunakan Contexstual Teaching and Learning (CTL) mendapat nilai minimum 11 mengalami peningkatan sampai nilai 19 dengan nilai rata-rata 21.13. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pada gain dari tiap kelas. Dari data yang diperoleh dari gain menunjukan bahwa nilai t diperoleh sebesar = -6,323 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = n1 + n2 – 2 = (30 + 30 – 2 =58 ).α = 0,05 diperoleh Sig.0,000. karena Sig.0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning (CTL) yang menjawab ya sebesar 49 % termasuk kriteria cukup, yang menjawab kadang-kadang sebesar 39% kriteria rendah dan yang menjawab tidak sedikit sekali 12% termasuk kriteria rendah sekali

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
