La lucha guerrillera en la obra de José Herrera Petere: „Cumbres de Extremadura y Carpio de Tajo”
The guerrilla struggle in the work of José Herrera Petere: Cumbres de Extremadura and Carpio de TajoThe main objective of the article is to understand the roots of compromise literature in condition of war and exile in the writing of Spanish author José Herrera Petere Guadalajara, 1909–Geneva, 1977 during Spanish War and Franco dictatorship. The analysis, conducted from cultural studies and literary historiography perspectives, is based on two books: Cumbres de Extremadura and Carpio de Tajo and their social, cultural and political contexts. Therefore Cumbres de Extremadura, considered to be his best novel, shows Petere’s committed writing on anti-fascists guerrilla and idealistic approach to the communist party. This novel stage adaptation, drama Carpio de Tajo, also shows the value of guerillas fight against fascism, but also represents the solitude and ideological breakdown of his exile. In a sort, social, cultural and political contexts of these books demonstrate how strong was the attraction of Spanish intellectuals as Herrera Petere to communist ideas making a radical transformation from surrealism to social realistic writing. Entrepreneurship, Collective Entrepreneurship and the Producer-Owned Firm
Entrepreneurship is predominantly associated with the activities of an individual actor – the entrepreneur. It has also been related to the concept of firm ownership (e.g. Foss and Klein, 2005). This may lead to the conjecture that a collectively-owned firm is a setting for collective entrepreneurship. However, such reasoning encounters a number of taxing questions. If entrepreneurship is usually related to the individual, how does the collective embody entrepreneurial spirit and lead to effective outcomes? These and other questions will be addressed in this paper, which is mainly based on a review of the literature. The paper starts by providing an overview of the different schools of (economic) thought on entrepreneurship. Subsequently we discuss the implications for the conceptualization of entrepreneurship when it is not carried out by an individual but by a group of people. Finally, the notion of collective entrepreneurship will be framed within the context of the producer-owned firm in agriculture, by considering conditions under which collective entrepreneurship can be attributed to the cooperative.entreprepreneurship, cooperative, pro, Agribusiness, Industrial Organization,

However, companies' adoption of cryptocurrencies remains relatively low. This study aims to comprehensively examine the factors influencing cryptocurrency adoption, their interrelationships, and their relative importance. To achieve this objective, we employ a Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) approach coupled with network analysis tools. By adopting a practical approach rather than a purely theoretical one, our unique contribution lies in the valuable insights derived from experienced Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) of various companies with experience in both traditional finance and cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, the unique blend of analytical rigor and industry expertise supports the study's relevance, offering nuanced insights that are not only academically robust but also immediately applicable in the corporate landscape. Our findings highlight the paramount importance of safety in transactions and trust in the chosen platform for companies considering cryptocurrency adoption. Additionally, criteria such as faster transactions without geographical limitations, lower transaction fees, seamless integration with existing systems, and potential cost savings are identified as crucial drivers. Both the DEMATEL approach and network analysis reveal strong interconnections among the criteria, emphasizing their interdependence and, notably, their reliance on transactional safety. Furthermore, our causes and effects analysis indicates that CFOs perceive company-led cryptocurrency adoption to positively impact the broader cryptocurrency market.publishersversionpublishe
A People’s Court? A Bottom-up approach to litigation before the Euopean Court of Justice
Contains fulltext :
183323.pdf (Publisher’s version ) (Open Access)Each year the European Court of Justice delivers over a thousand decisions on the basis of EU law that affect the Members States as well as the lives of their citizens. Most of these decisions are the result of requests for a preliminary ruling sent by national courts and tribunals seeking an interpretation of EU law. While this procedure is seen as central to the transformation of Europe there remains significant ambiguity on why the system is used, and who is primarily responsible for its success. The current book examines the practice of the preliminary reference procedure. By approaching it from the perspective of those who participate in it, the study takes on prevalent assumptions about the how and why of national court cases that reach the European Court of Justice through a request for a preliminary ruling. This empirical research will appeal to scholars engaged in the relationship between law and European integration as well as practitioners and litigants interested in the practise of the preliminary reference procedure.
Not only it is an aspect of interest for philologists, linguists and educators, but also should be a matter of study for psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, ethnologists, geographers, politicians, historians and literary critics (Saraiva, 1975: 8). The use of several languages by one writer in literature is not as simple as a translation; it is rather a deliberated work of aesthetics in order to represent the characters’ idiolect or to express efficiently emotions of all kinds. This is to be evidenced through the work of poetry Mariana de Coimbra (1999), written by the Venezuelan author José Jesús Villa Pelayo. In this work, the Spanish-Portuguese bilingualism acquires a special signification in order to recreate the medieval context of the story, the lyric-speaker’s grief, and at the same time, the consequences of linguistic contact expressed in the text
O ROMANCE AUTOBIOGRÁFICO EM MEU PÉ DE LARANJA LIMA
This paper focuses on the analysis of the literary work Meu pé de laranja lima, in which the author José Mauro de Vasconcelos relates his own childhood through a child character. In the plot, however, there is the author’s alleviation and seeking for the recognition of readers, which according to autobiography theorist Philippe Lejeune (2008) configures the autobiographical pact that is given by the relationship between author, narrator and character. The confessional literature holds confessions and secrets of the authors; Maria Luíza Remédios (1997) explains that the public is interested in confessional literature because we have the tendency to identify ourselves with what is close to our reality, thereby establishing a pact with the reading public. During the work, the author may assume identities or self-sense, and in José Mauro’s case it is supposed he saw writing as an option for alleviation, by recalling his childhood and freeing himself from the past. Therefore, we confirm that this literary work is an autobiographical writing, and understand what the autobiographer looks for in writing about himself, and that this newest genre of writing is widely accepted by the public.
