No full textThis study of the City of San Jose’s Parks and Recreation General Obligation (GO) Bond Measure seeks to identify the politics-, management-, and planning-related lessons learned by the City as it developed its community facilities using the GO bonds proceeds. The study finds that these lessons include: be conservative in what you promise the residents; be prepared for changes in economic environment by identifying supplementary funding sources should the primary source not yield adequate funds; make sure that the jurisdiction is organizationally capable of handling the increased workload; and prepare detailed project plans prior to the bond issuance.Community Infrastructure and Services; Municipal Bonds; Public Finance

No full textEste trabajo analiza la figura del sujeto imaginario de la poesía de Idea Vilariño y trata de discernirlo no sólo en todos los enunciados que dicen "yo" en el poema, sino también en este "otro yo" que se nombra en el diario y a la vez se escande dual en los poemas que se incluye. Acaso no se trataría de proyectar una imagen para la leyenda en contraposición con una vida real que la contradice, sino de que ambos yo es "el sujeto del diario personal que se nombra Idea Vilariño y el sujeto del poema que busca un nombre o se nombra esa soy / ésa es idea construyen una persona poética intersticial, en suspensión y producen entre sí una erosión mutua. La identidad no está dada jamás y nunca es una esencia, sino un proceso o un despliegue diferido. La sujeto nunca se esencializa y por eso dice o dirá No respecto de su propia proyección vital, de su deseo, de sus elecciones. Paradójicamente, en esa negación del Yo nada alcanza una presencia más poderosa que ese sujeto imaginario, en suspenso, y que nítidamente sobreimprime un nombre a la negación: Idea del No.Fil: Monteleone, Jorge Jose.
