Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt das Kulturphänomen Mythos am Beispiel Jim Morrison, dem Frontmann der Rockgruppe The Doors. Anhand verschiedener Medien unter Bezugnahme auf die betreffende Zeit, wird das Entstehen des Stars und seines Abbildes geschildert. Das Aufzeigen von negativer und positiver Publicity, die Schilderung des performativen Wirkens auf der Bühne und Informationen aus dem Privatleben versuchen den Mythos zu erklären und einzugrenzen. Ebenso wird die Wandlung des Wesens von Jim Morrison anhand seiner Biografie bis hin zu seinem Tod illustriert. Neben der Beschreibung seiner Abwendung von der Musik hin zur Poesie, konzentriert sich diese Arbeit abschließend auf den entstandenen Grabkult in Paris und dessen Wandlung.This diploma thesis discuss the phenomenon of the myth Jim Morrison, the lead singer of the rock group The Doors. With different types of media, in reference to the 1960s, the thesis will show the uprising of a star and its image. Negative and positive publicity, his performance on stage and some information about his life behind the stardom tries both to explain and border the myth. The transformation of Jim Morrison is illustrated throughout his biography until his death. Next to the music, his poem writing became a bigger issue and the thesis finally concentrates on the cult of his grave in Paris and its change during the past decades

Reflexo da contracultura dos anos 60 nos Estados Unidos da América, Jim Morrison, vocalista do grupo The Doors, quis, através da sua música e das suas palavras, libertar as pessoas que julgava estarem presas a uma conformidade de normas sexuais e sociais, desempenhando, assim, o papel de xamane. Jim viveu intensamente e morreu cedo. Uma carreira curta e poderosa, que o consolidou como lenda viva, herói trágico. Analisando a complexidade do seu ser, verifica-se que reactualizou mitos ancestrais ao representar histórias de deuses e de heróis titânicos, tais como Dioniso, Édipo e Prometeu. Surge, assim, o mito do eterno retorno através da repetição de arquétipos. Numa cronologia sem tempo, contendo, porém, uma tonalidade nebulosa, Jim Morrison permanece no âmbito do eterno, remetendo para um tempo que não é histórico, mas cíclico. O mito de Jim Morrison perdura através da sua poesia, da sua música, da sua sepultura, da sua incessante audiência.The myth, path for the spiritual potentialities of human life, acts as a symbolic mediation between the sacred and the profane, emerging as a guide that calm down the "spirits" more dissatisfied with the reality and help them to heal their wound of existence. Jim Morrison, lead singer of the band The Doors, is a reflection of the counterculture of the 60s in the United States of America. Through his music and his words, he wanted to free the people that he thought to be attached to sexual and social norms, performing thus the role of a shaman. Jim lived intensively and died young. He had a short and powerful career, that have consolidate his character of living legend, of tragic hero. When analyzing the complexity of his person, it is verified that he updated ancient myths by representing stories of gods and titanic heroes, such as Dionysus, Oedipus and Prometheus. It is in this way that emerges the myth of the eternal return, through the repeat of archetypes. In a chronology with no time but with a misty tone, Jim Morrison remains as eternal, referring to a time that is not historical but cyclical. The myth of Jim Morrison endures through his poetry, his music, his grave, his incessant audience

"Hey, what's your name?": anthroponymics in the language picture of the world of Jim Morrison
In the article, the anthroponyms are considered as one of the key fragments of the language picture of the world of American poet and musician Jim Morrison. The symbolism of names, which is important for all lingual cultures, in the poetics of Jim Morrison is manifested in a special way, because of his specific perception of the people, especially the women, with whom Jim Morrison's relations were not the simple due to a specific life of rock-musician in California of the flower revolution epoch. In the Jim Morrison's linguistic picture of the world, the elements of European (Antique, Germanic, Celtic) culture and culture of North American Indians are invented. Jim Morrison has created also his own cultural code, the American one, more exactly, a code of California, and the appropriate poetics of myths, that are reflected in his poetic texts. Therefore, the anthroponyms in the lyrics by Jim Morrison reflect all these cultural codes. In the article, the most interesting cases of inclusion of the anthroponyms in his lyrics are presented. English quotations from the songs are accompanied by Russian translations made by the author
