From Utopia to Eterotopia - Exploring the Developmental Context of Urban Landscape Painting (从乌托邦到异托邦 — 浅谈对城市风景油画发展脉络的探索)
This paper provides an overview of the evolution of urban landscape painting, utilizing the concepts of Utopia and Eterotopia to analyze the ideological and emotional expressions embodied in this artistic form throughout various historical stages. Initially, the article traces the transformation of landscape painting from an adjunct to figure painting to its development as an independent artistic genre. Subsequently, it discusses the manifestation of Utopia and Eterotopia ideals in urban landscape painting and how artists have ingeniously integrated these concepts into their creations. Particularly after entering the 20th century, the diversification of painting schools greatly expanded the imaginative space for artists, prompting them to produce urban landscape paintings rich in Eterotopia elements. In conjunction with this, Chinese artists have kept pace with the times, creating dystopian style works with local characteristics, which profoundly reflect the psychological state and inner emotions of urban dwellers. The author also employs the concepts of Utopia and Eterotopia in creative practice to explore new possibilities in urban landscape painting, thereby conveying a yearning for a harmonious world and profound contemplation of conflicts between different cultures. Overall, Utopia and Eterotopia not only present rich emotional and spatial dimensions in urban landscape painting but also provide important perspectives and insights for the study of art history and artistic creation due to their contextual and logical nature

An Analytical Examination of Art Courses within the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna (博洛尼亚大学文化遗产学院艺术类课程的解读)
Italy holds the leading position worldwide in terms of the quantity of world cultural heritage sites. The Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna has established an integrative educational and research framework that spans from undergraduate to doctoral studies. The disciplines of art and humanities within the department are acclaimed both nationally and internationally for their academic excellence. A significant interconnection exists between cultural heritage and art education, underscoring the department’s dedication to the concept of meta-disciplinary construction within an interdisciplinary context. In this environment, art courses are distinguished by their historical and scientific aspects. This study delves into the philosophical underpinnings of art education research at the department, utilizing representative courses as case studies. It elaborates on the historical and theoretical research grounded in Italy’s national cultural heritage as well as the exploratory scientific research informed by modern technological progress. Through an
analytical discussion of the art courses shaped by research imperatives, this paper aims to offer a comprehensive reflection on the pedagogical approaches to art education within the realm of cultural heritage in higher academia

Analyze the "Story" behind "The Last Supper" in the Florentine Region during the Renaissance(剖析文艺复兴时期佛罗伦萨地区“最后的晚餐”背后的“故事”)
This paper delves into the frescoes of four prominent artists from the Florentine region during the Renaissance, meticulously analyzing their historical context, artistic techniques, painting methods, and underlying meanings. The study commences with an examination of the oeuvre of Andrea del Castagno (1421-1457), whose paintings are characterized by distinctive compositional and chromatic approaches that laid the groundwork for the thematic expression. Subsequently, the paper shifts its focus to Domenico Ghirlandaio (1449-1494), who introduced innovations by incorporating additional elements such as food and background details, thereby enriching the connotations and dramatic intensity of his works. The third artist, Pietro Perugino (1445-1523), is noted for his creative adaptations of classical styles, manifesting through the design of frames and layout, which imbue his works with a distinctive character and a closer connection to everyday life. Finally, the frescoes of Andrea del Sarto (1486-1530) are distinguished by their refined layout and dramatic visual effects. This paper not only showcases the individual interpretations and representations of the theme "The Last Supper" by these artists but also reflects their exploration and development of unique artistic expressions on the foundation of tradition. From classical motifs to profound meanings and spiritual inquiry, these artists progressively deepened their understanding of the Renaissance spirit, thereby enriching the artistic manifestations of the theme "The Last Supper," leaving behind a valuable artistic legacy for posterity
Analysis and Comparison of Aubrey Beardsley’s Illusion and Chinese Ink Operas. Exploration of Commonalities between Chinese and Western Black and White Art (中西方黑白艺术的相通性-分析比较比亚兹莱黑白插画与中国水墨画)
This thesis conducts an analytical comparison of the stylistic features and emotional expressions in Aubrey Beardsley's black and white illustrations and Chinese ink operas, identifying their similarities and reflecting on the commonalities between Eastern and Western art. The evolution of Beardsley's illustrative style is characterized by an initial foundational phase, a mature phase, and a peak phase. The artistic backdrop of the Art Nouveau era, with its decadence and aestheticism, profoundly influenced the style and emotional expression of his work. The development of Chinese ink operas is diverse, primarily manifesting in dynamic changes in composition, contrast, and line, and influenced by the disillusioned scholar-official ideology and the discontented literati of China. The thesis identifies a commonality between the two art forms, attributing this to the prevalence of aestheticism and decadence during Beardsley's time, as well as the popularity of Eastern art in Europe. Moreover, black and white art, under the influence of black and white color psychology, fosters a cross-cultural aesthetic recognition between the East and the West. The thesis topic is inspired by the author's personal long-term practice of Chinese ink operas, coupled with the influence of Western art, leading to the creation of black and white conceptual artworks that explore the commonalities between Eastern and Western art. The author's graduation project, themed "Walking Bones," integrates black and white elements to express the confusion of modern humanity, sharing commonalities with the stylistic and emotional expressions of both Eastern and Western art. Consequently, the thesis compares Eastern and Western black and white art, in conjunction with the author's artistic practice, explores and reflects on the methodology of an artist's creative style and emotional expression, It seeks perspectives and approaches to construct a new pictorial language that converges East and West in the context of globalization
