Efek kombinasi vitamin B1, B6, B12 untuk menurunkan intensitas nyeri pada penderita neuropatik diabetes
Background: Neuropathy diabetic pain are common symptom in patient with diabetic melitus. The combination of vitamin B1, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 usually used for treatment the pain, the result of previous studies are limited and conflicting.
Objective: The aim of the study to measure the convering of intensity of pain in diabetic neuropathy.
Method: The method of study using quase experimental design with pre and post treatment patient were selected by conservative sampling method from Bethesda Hospital, Yogyakarta. There are 68 patient diabetic neuropathy to follow in the study. Fact patient received combination of vitamin B1 100 mg, vitamin B6 100 mg, and vitamin B12 5000 mcg once a day for 3 month. Pain intensity measured using visual analog scale (VAS) on the first initial visited after 30th day and 90th day.
Results: The 68 patient consist of 27 (39.7%) male and 41 (60.3%) women. The mean age 58.32±6.72 years. The mean duration of Diabetic 4.32±2.86 year. The study showed that the pain intensity lower significantly after received vitamin B (p<0.001). The mean pain intensity in first VAS 43.68±12.32 lower to 20.42±11.24 and in the end of study lower to 12.23±8.39.
Conclusion: The combination of vitamin B1, B6, B12 significantly lower pain intensity of patient diabetic neuropathy
Eligibility of the Conservation Education Guidebook for Senior High School
Indonesia does not yet have a curriculum that implements conservation education, several schools have carried out conservation activities but do not yet have guidebooks or written documents related with the programs, so it is necessary to prepare a conservation education guidebook. This study aims to determine the eligibility of a high school conservation education guidebook. This study uses the RD research method with the ADDIE limited to the development stage. The eligibility test of the conservation education guidebook was carried out by validating by five validators with the validation sheet assessment instrument and analyzed using Aiken's content validity and ICC (intraclass correlation coefficient) reliability. The aspects assessed in the validation test are material aspects, presentation, language, and guidebook graphics. The results of Aiken's validity were obtained for the material aspect, namely 0.92 very high categories, presentation aspect, namely 0.87 very high categories, language aspect, namely 0.93 very high categories, and graphic aspect, namely 0.92 very high categories. The average validity of the four aspects is 0.92 in the very high categories. The results of the ICC reliability analysis showed a reliability value of 0.965 and agreement between validators was at a very good criteria index. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Case Series: Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in Brain Arteriovenous, Is It Good Enough?

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Brain arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are relatively uncommon. Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS) is one of the AVM's therapeutic interventions, with both advantages and disadvantages. Here, we report the results of two cases of brain AVM after GKRS.
Cases:
Case 1: Non-contrast head MRI imaging of a 45-year-old man with persistent left-sided headaches revealed a 1.4 x 2.5 x 2.28 cm AVM nidus in the left parasagittal frontal lobe. After a single GKRS with a 25-Gy marginal dose, the MRI contrast showed complete obliteration, with persistent perifocal edema and headache.
Case 2: A 25-year-old woman with a history of generalized seizures. The angiograms revealed an AVM nidus with a diameter of 32.58 mm on her right posterior frontal lobe. After a single GKRS with a 22-Gy marginal dose, the MRI contrast showed full obliteration with large edema. The patient had presented with hemiparesis.
Conclusion: In these cases, the results after GKRS were full obliteration with complications of edema, headache, and hemiparesis. We also found that complications appear to be associated with adverse radiation effects

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
