La libertad existencial en Karl Jaspers
Full text linkEl texto en cuestión se ocupa de explicar el tema de la libertad existencial en Karl Jaspers. Aunque la libertad siempre ha sido un tema bastante discutido en la tradición filosófica, esta perspectiva de Jaspers
ha pasado casi que desapercibida durante las últimas décadas, situación que se evidencia en al ausencia de bibliografía en torno al tema, tanto en lengua española, inglesa y alemana. Adicionalmente, han aparecido
interpretaciones del tema que no se ajustan al pensamiento de Jaspers, por lo que parece de vital importancia revisar esta perspectiva de Jaspers e intentar clarificar lo que él entiende por libertad existencial. En virtud de este panorama, el texto monográfico se ocupa de explicar el tema de la manera más detallada posible, con la finalidad de clarificar la comprensión en torno al mismo y elaborar una serie de objeciones a las interpretaciones de dos autores con relación a aspectos centrales de la libertad existencial.The current text aims at explaining Karl Jaspers' existential freedom. Although freedom has always been a widely discussed topic in the philosophical tradition, Jaspers' perspective has gone almost unnoticed
in recent decades, this situation is proved by the absence of bibliography on the subject, both in spanish, english and german. Additionally, there have been interpretations of the subject that do not seem to match
Jaspers' thinking, so it seems really important to review Jaspers' perspective and try to clarify what he understands by existential freedom. Having these claims in mind, the monographic text deals with
explaining the subject in the most detailed way possible, with the purpose of clarifying the understanding about it and elaborating a series of objections to the interpretations from two authors in regards to

Full text linkOb im Westen order im Osten : Man fühlt oft so etwas wie Scham. Diese Abhandlung gehört zu einer Serie meiner Forschungen über das Schamgefühl. Im letzten Jahr habe ich Kierkegaard und Sartre unter dem Gesichtspunkt behandelt, wie nämlich das existentielle Schamefühl aus der Struktur des Mensheseins und der Selbsterkenntnis entsteht. No full textThe chapter aimed to provide a brief account of the clinical method of Karl Jaspers, along with a thorough presentation of his “hierarchical principle”, of his approach to systematic classification in psychiatry and of the aftermath of hierarchical classification concepts in the clinical psychiatric settings. A detailed historical perspective of how the Jaspers theories have influenced the subsequent classification systems and a comparison with operationalized diagnostic approaches are also presented, unveiling the most common shortcomings of the current diagnostic classifications in psychiatry. Furthermore, the role of the “inner perspective” and of the phenomenological description of subjective experiences in the clinical field is discussed, also in connection with the implications for research in psychiatry and the various intellectual frameworks for this scientific discipline.</p

No full textSummary The topic of this master thesis is Karl Jaspers: nihilism and religion. While investigating the works of F. Nietzsche, Karl Jaspers came across the concept of nihilism. For Karl Jaspers the topic of nihilism is relevant in that it provides an explanation for states in practical activities, which he calls borderline situations. Karl Jaspers saw the experience of nihilism as an opportunity where the meaning of human existence revealed. In modern psychological science, the concept of borderline situations is closest to the concept of psychological crisis. The science of psychology has always looked for ways to help people cope with the difficulties that have arisen. Karl Jaspers, seeing the limitations of such possibilities, proposed a religious component in order to deal with the state caused by borderline situations. The master thesis analyses the concept of nihilism, the interaction between borderline situations and religious component. Since Karl Jaspers was a proponent of Christian existentialism, the involved religious component analyzed from a Christian perspective
