A Short Biography of James Morrison
James Morrison, a native of Londonberry, New Hampshire, was a notable figure in Savannah, Georgia during the second and third decades of the nineteenth century. After graduating from Dartmouth College and Tapping Reeve Law School he went to Savannah and married into the prominent Johnston family. He became involved in such institutions as the Union Society, and The Savannah Poor House and Hospital.
