Exploring the Early Universe and Dark Matter with the Cosmic Microwave Background
This dissertation contains works spanning several topics in cosmology and astrophysics. They are tied together by themes of dark matter and the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), but with a highly varied methodology spanning theory, data analysis, and hardware. Chapter 2 introduces a novel production mechanism for sterile neutrino dark matter involving multiple interacting sterile neutrinos. Chapter 3 presents a search for axion-like particle dark matter using the CMB telescope POLARBEAR. Finally, Chapter 4 describes the building and testing of the Small Aperture Telescope for the next-generation CMB experiment the Simons Observatory

Operational art in the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and vision of its development
The article familiarizes readers with author´s perspective on status of the operational Art in the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic (AF CR). He argues that the AF CR community of military "thinkers" has for a long time fallen behind of conceptual developments and discussion regarding operational art that have occurred in other NATO member´s countries. Although the "tactical experience" is vital, there exists "operational inexperience". A recovery of Czech operational art is necessary because if the AF CR is faced by a parallel requirement to be a global 'security contributor' and a possible regional 'security leader'. Future operational art must seek to reflect a conceptual framework and to integrate both emerging functions. With the view of developing a appropriate construct of 21st century operational art, the AF CR must take a number of reforms. Such reforms include adopting a functional approach to operational concept development, improving doctrines, developing comprehensive operation planning and establishing significant reforms into the professional military education system.</jats:p
Connecting Theory and Practice in LIS: The Training Model of the Information Resource Centers
The traditional LIS education is also essential as it provides the foundation for our profession. Also, the LIS theory explores the history and evolution of the librarianship in different era. The library science educators do review the LIS courses from time to time, because it isn’t one time job. As the nature of information sources changes, the sophistication of information technology advances, and the quantity of knowledge explodes; the job market of librarians itself demands revision and expansion in the curricula of the LIS.
Even if the curriculum of an LIS school is up to the mark, the institution is required to train its new information professionals. Every type of library (i.e. public, academic, or special etc.) has to impart a proper training to its employees for better performance and productivity.
At the same time, it is true that not all the libraries or their parent institutions can afford the expensive and sophisticated training model of the IRCs. However, if they put the professional training on priority and spend some resources and time on it, they can get best out of their employees. One way is to arrange the in-house training sessions at their libraries. Moreover, the libraries of the same kind or in the same region can coordinate training on different LIS modules. The Internet is itself a good learning, teaching and training tool. The information professional can improve the professional skills through reading the professional literature, becoming a member of professional association, and consulting the value added professional websites
List of referees for year 2017 / Список рецензетов за 2017. год / Spisak recenzenata za 2017. godinu
All submitted manuscripts relevant to the journal’s profile are reviewed. All referees are eminent experts in relevant fields, with papers published in these fields in the last three years. Editorial Board applies the iThenticate (CrossRef and CrossCheck) service for verifying the originality of submitted papers and for preventing duplicate publishing and plagiarism. Journal applies a „double blind peer review process“ for papers. Authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other in the process of review. Reviews after the article has been published are allowed and encouraged for subsequent evaluation of papers and authors. A peer reviewer assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper.
Redakcija dozvoljava i podstiče recenzije i posle objavljivanja članaka radi naknadnog vrednovanja autora i radova.
