The file database_D contains the experimental diffusivity data for amorphous polystyrene used for the figure 1b. It is a spreadsheet file with two tabs. In the first tab, the diffusion coefficients can be found by choosing molecule family (and the publication were they were found) and temperature in celsius degrees. The second tab contains the same diffusivity data, but they are ranged by increasing molecular weight and temperature. This file is available in open document (.ods) and microsoft excel (.xlsx) formats.
The file migration modelling is also a spreadsheet file, and contains several tabs. The first tab (diffusion coefficient) is an implementation of equation 1, the predictive model for overestimated diffusion coefficients. The given Ap and tau parameter sets are the ones specified in Table 2 for amorphous polystyrene. The second tab (migration levels) is an implementation of equation 3, the solution to Fick's second law that is used to predict migration levels in food, for pre-selected values of alpha (equation 5). The tabs labeled alpha =... contain the sums used in the equation, whereas the tab "roots" contains the first 200 roots of trascendental equation 4, needed to calculate the sum or terms. This file is also available in open document (.ods) and microsoft excel (.xlsx) formats.
The file "table.pdf" sums the main characteristics of the molecule families, together with the references where they were found (in the second page).
The file reference.bib contains the reference that should be cited if you use this dataset for your own work.

Establishing virtual production as a research and teaching activity at QUT
No full textLocated within the Creative Industries Faculty, the Animation team at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) recently acquired a full-body inertial motion capture system. Our research to date has been predominantly concerned with interdisciplinary practice and the benefits this could bring to undergraduate teaching. From early experimental tests it was identified that there was a need to develop a framework for best practice and an efficient production workflow to ensure the system was being used to its full potential. Through our ongoing investigation we have identified at least three areas that stand to have long-term benefits from universities engaging in motion capture related research activity. This includes interdisciplinary collaborative research, undergraduate teaching and improved production processes. Does strict employment protection discourage job creation? Evidence from Croatia
Get PDFEmployment protection legislation in Croatia is among the most strict in Europe. Firing is difficult and costly, and flexible forms of employment are limited. Is this apparent rigidity reflected-as one would expect based on standard economic theory-in low labor market dynamics? Is job creation low and hiring limited? Is the job security of insiders achieved at the cost of outsiders not being able to enter thelabor market? The author attempts to answer these questions by examining job flows. If the employment protection legislation is binding, then job and worker turnover should be low. He shows that this is indeed the case. Hiring is limited and the average job tenure is very long in Croatia. Job destruction is low, however job creation is still lower. The result is accumulation of unemployment, in large part due to new labor market entrants not being able to find a job. The high degree of job protection also seems to strengthen the bargaining position of insiders and results in relatively high wages. So, wages in Croatia are higher than among its competitors, even after adjusting for productivity. These high labor costs are likely to contribute to limited job creation in existing firms, but also are likely to discourage the entry of-and thus job creation in-new firms. The author presents evidence that firm growth has been indeed limited in Croatia, contributing to the low employment level. The author examines other potential causes of high unemployment in Croatia (the unemployment benefit system, labor taxation, the wage structure, and skill and spatial mismatches). He argues that they do not play a substantial part in accounting for poor labor market outcomes in Croatia. The author concludes that the stringent employment protection legislation is the key labor market institution behind low job creation and high unemployment. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo sistematizar la experiencia de la práctica académica de Trabajo Social realizada en el servicio de Ginecología del Hospital Universitario de Santander. Esto se lleva a cabo mediante un análisis del impacto generado por los espacios psicopedagógicos y el material educativo en temas de derechos sexuales y reproductivos, con el fin de contribuir al mejoramiento de las intervenciones sociales en esta área. Se utiliza el enfoque metodológico de Óscar Jara (2018), que facilita una interpretación y sistematización a partir de la reconstrucción ordenada y cronológica del proceso vivido.
La experiencia consiste en la implementación de una intervención educativa en derechos sexuales y reproductivos para las mujeres del servicio de Ginecología, llevada a cabo en la práctica dos durante el año 2024. El proceso comienza con la identificación de la población y el objeto de sistematización, seguido de la definición de objetivos específicos que guían la descripción de la experiencia mediante el análisis de fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas identificadas a partir de la recolección de datos y testimonios en el servicio. Así, se examina la ejecución de las actividades para formular recomendaciones y futuras propuestas. Los hallazgos y lecciones aprendidas se reflejan en la ejecución de diversas actividades propuestas, como talleres, conversatorios y cine foros, los cuales se implementaron con el propósito de fortalecer el conocimiento y la conciencia sobre los derechos sexuales y reproductivos. Estas actividades están respaldadas por un sólido fundamento teórico que sostiene el enfoque metodológico de la investigación. The objective of this work is to systematize the experience of the Social Work academic practice carried out in the Gynecology service at the Hospital Universitario de Santander. This is achieved through an analysis of the impact generated by psychopedagogical spaces and educational materials on sexual and reproductive rights, aiming to contribute to the improvement of social interventions in this area. The methodological approach by Óscar Jara (2018) is used, which facilitates interpretation and systematization through an ordered, chronological reconstruction of the lived process.
The experience involves the implementation of an educational intervention on sexual and reproductive rights for women in the Gynecology service, conducted during the second practice in 2024. The process begins with identifying the population and object of systematization, followed by defining specific objectives that guide the description of the experience by analyzing identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from data and testimonies collected in the service. This examination of activity execution allows for the formulation of recommendations and future proposals. The findings and lessons learned are reflected in the execution of various proposed activities, such as workshops, discussions, and film forums, which were implemented to strengthen knowledge and awareness of sexual and reproductive rights. These activities are supported by a strong theoretical foundation that upholds the research’s methodological approach. Finally, conclusions, recommendations, and future proposals are presented for the role of the Social Worker in the Gynecology service
